Reviews for Riad Taroudant
Review 1:Nothing I didn't like.
Review 2:Everything is so perfect, the place, the food, the people - everything is so lovely. One of my favorite places to stay in the world!
Review 3:Our first floor room (room 206 I think) was below the kitchen where breakfast was prepared, so we did have a little bit of noise in the morning. I'd still definitely go back though.
Review 4:Lovely spacious terrace on which to relax and enjoy breakfast. Clean room and bathroom. A peaceful environment in which to spend a night. The town is lively but with less hassle than Marrakech.
Review 5:Nothing.
Review 6:A nice comfortable stay for a few days. Everything, as already listed by other travelers. Very handy location to the bus station and the Medina shops.
Review 7:If I have to say something, could not use the pool because in October it was too cold and had sand.
Review 8:Great location near the souks and the taxi /bus area. Great reception. Sparkling clean rooms in traditional decor. Offered continental breakfast + yoghurt on beautiful rooftop terrace.
Review 9:Room was slightly dirty with balls of hair on the floor, you couldn't put the shower head on the wall as the water spurted out everywhere except for on you and the toilet stank of drains and stagnant water.
Review 10:Great location, and can't beat the price. Lovely breakfast although was served 30 minutes late which was annoying as we had a big drive ahead of us.
Review 11:as usually happens in morocco they had problems with the credit card machine and we had to withdraw the money to pay
Review 12:we feel like in our home. the hosts was very helpful and nice. the room and the bathroom were clean. I suggest this riad!
Review 13:No light in the shower and the drains smelled a bit.
Review 14:We had the riad all to ourselves as it was approaching Ramadam and not many tourists. The owners were lovely, they gave us helpful info and they booked our onward travel to Marrakesch. would go definitely go back again.
Review 15:Nothing at all, this is the right place to stay at when you visit Taroudant. Be sure to greet the nice hosts for me! :)
Review 16:Great staff! Leila and Sven (if I recall right) were both very friendly and spoke English which is my prefered language when traveling. I was placed in a 2 person room instead of a 1 person room at no extra cost, in the middle of the night because of a delayed flight. When I needed an unexpected extra room for 1 night for my father this was handled immediately for the same Booking.com price (300 dirham a night) as my room, even though it was advertised at the front door for 380 dirhams a night. This is what I call honest and fair business. The Wifi was nice and fast, the breakfast was simple but delicious. Especially when you enjoyed on the nice litte roof-terrace,
Review 17:The dinner at the riad was terrible. Better to eat out if you can. No basic toiletries in the bathroom besides hand wash.
Review 18:The room was charming and clean. The staff and owners were lovely.
Review 19:very beautiful riad, perfect location close to the souks and the main square. our room was very clean and comfortable, breakfast was served on the sunny terrace.
Review 20:Sven the owner makes you feel right at home and tell you everything you need to know. I had the choice between 2 rooms, the riad itself is very pretty and comfy, beautiful rooftop terrace, they're willing to prepare you breakfast at anytime so you can sleep as long as you like. Great location in the town center.
Review 21:Great welcome from Sven.Very good location just a short walk from the square. Lovely terrace for breakfast. Rooms and all facilities very good. We arrived having taken 6 hours from Imlil thro' Tizi Test pass via Tin Mal etc. Fantastic!
Review 22:Slightly weird toilet arrangement in our room. Don't be put off, just a bit strange
Review 23:Friendly staff, nice roof top terrace, comfortable rooms.
Review 24:an oasis of rest and silence next to the soek
Review 25:Everything was fine :-) Thank you for the great time and help
Review 26:Small bathroom, room a bit dark but clean and comfy.

Review 40:Poor WiFi connectivity. Shower not that warm.
Review 41:Friendly welcome, lovely breakfast. Great roof garden. Nice room.
Review 42:A little hard to locate. My best direction is opposite the SW corner of the Berber Market. Marche Berbere. Hope that helps!
Review 43:Beautiful pool and roof terrace. Owner very helpful.
Review 44:To say 'didn't like' is too strong, however potential visitors need to be aware that en suite facilities, although adequate are basic.
Review 45:Owners (and new dog,Jack,) and staff were very relaxed, flexible and extremely hospitable. The owners went out of their way to accommodate our desire to see around the area by introducing us to a highly personable Moroccan friend who made a very positive contribution to our holiday.
Review 46:Nothing
Review 47:We have been to Taroudant many times however this was the most perfect place to stay. A lovely welcome acompanied with a cool bloodorange juice. The breakfasts and dinner were excellent not just another tagine but one cooked to perfection and served with a smile Thankyou
Review 48:We very much enjoyed our stay at the Riad Tarrodant which had been beautifully refurbished and restored. We had a lovely large room and it was also possible to park right outside the riad which is a definite advantage in a busy place like Taroudant. Sven and his partner went out of their way to be helpful - and accompanied us to the bank and helped us to change money which would have not be very easy without some Moroccan know-how. Extremely good value we thought.
Review 49:we decided to have dinner there once but we got something completely different to what was ordered, the food wasn't great.
Review 50:nice pool, comfy beds. spacious rooms and friendly staff.
Review 51:The only comment would be that the pool was a little dusty from material falling down from the plants on the terrace above. However when we swam the circulation pumps were operating so it was not a real problem.
Review 52:It was a traditional Riad layout with a nice pool in the basement area in which we swam. The terrace was very nice and where breakfast was served. Breakfast was very good and there was free wifi. Our room was comfortable and clean.
Review 53:On Booking.com, Riad Taroudant was advertised as accepting visa cards but it did not. Cash only and no receipt
Review 54:It's an authentic old house, restored to be a "riad" in the medina of Taroudant.
Review 55:Only a minor thing but it would have been good for our room to be serviced during our stay as our bin was full by the end and we had to ask for more toilet paper. Not a major problem though.
Review 56:We had a lovely stay at Riad Taroudant. The owner, Agnes, was so friendly and was really helpful at advising us on places to visit and how much things should cost. She even got up early on our last day to give us breakfast at 6.30am which was much more than we would ever have expected! The decor of the riad was beautiful, especially at night when it was all lit up. The roof terrace was gorgeous, ideal for relaxing breakfasts, sunbathing and watching the sun set.
Review 57:Swimmingpool out of order. That was essential for our choice for the hotel. So we were dissapointed by that
Review 58:Nice location, beautifull building.
Review 59:In some rooms you could smell an odour from sewerage.
Review 60:Very nice Riad
Review 61:Beautiful clean riad, amazing breakfast in the terrace, friendly and very helpfull stuff! reccommended
