This hostel is by the UNESCO-listed Stora Alvaret limestone plain in South Öland. It offers a private beach popular among windsurfers and swimmers, free parking plus a shared TV lounge and kitchen.
All of Stora Frögården Hostel’s rooms have their own toilet, and most have private bathrooms with showers.
Frögården’s seasonal, courtyard restaurant uses fresh ingredients to make traditional Öland and Swedish food, plus international dishes. Wine and beer can be bought at reception all year round.
During summer, guests can use Stora Frögården’s BBQ area, rent bicycles or explore walking paths along the nearby Baltic Sea shore. Children can play in the hotel garden or playground.

Review 1：No free wifi. Shower and toilet were not super clean. Room was very small and quite old-fashioned. It was located on the ground floor, so the people in the courtyard restaurant could look right into our room. The doors in the hallway slam shut, which woke me up several times. We had to clean the room ourselves. Had the room been 30% cheaper, I wouldn't have made a big deal about it, but for these room rates...
