Review 1：We had no water in the morning ... problem could not be solved before we checked out. And: it gets very noisy if there is a marriage in the Hotel during your stay

Review 3：Too many weddings! You can feel the tension and constant business of staff arranging for a weddings every day, which leads to absolutely no relaxing atmosphere for the tired traveller who wants to enjoy his 1 or 2 weeks of calming and decompressing holidays per year. This is the reason why we personally would choose a more relaxing place next time. The over all feeling is busy and nervous, rather than holiday resort. The business plan is not well defined, the ratio weddings and relax for holiday travelers should be clear before booking the trip. The passage to the beach needs definately some serious renovation. It is unsafe (hight of ceiling, electrical wires, slippery tiles..), and gives a bad impression of a hotel, which is in general very well kept.

Review 4：All together a very nice family hotel. Hotel staff is very friendly, the rooms are clean an well equipped, beds conformable, and breakfast was nice.

Review 5：The nice pool was poorly maintained and dirty; leaves floating in it. The grounds were not kept and there was garbage littered everywhere. The beach is accessed thru a very poorly maintained tunnel.The breakfast was so so. I didn't feel warm and cozy like other reviews upon check in! The room we were first given was looking out on a dirty alley! The front desk did manage to move us to the pool side. The A/C is set and you can't lower it below 17; it was 40 degrees and it made for a very hot night if restless sleep! Our room had the wall cut out to expose water pipes and was not repaired! The hallways are dirty and need a paint job. The nicest staff were the housekeepers and bar attendants, although I had to wait 40 minutes for a glass if wine because they couldn't find a cork screw! We were very disappointed with our stay as we anticipated the luxury of a 4 star hotel to be pampered a little and relax while travelling throughout Italy! We wished we had not booked for four nights! Would not recommend this hotel if you like real 4 star value!

Review 7：The very welcoming reception upon arrival from very friendly staff. The hotel was extremely clean. Location was ideal for a variety of excellent restaurants and only two minutes walk to the beach. We will definitely return to Club Hotel Kennedy.

Review 19：We stayed at Club Kennedy for a few days in June while visiting familyin Calabria. It was the perfect getaway. The staff was wonderful,friendly, helpful...they even brought our starving entourage food whenall the restaurants were closed and served it poolside! The rooms werecomfortable and clean.Great value! Our balcony looked over the pool anda beautiful view of the mountains and ocean, which is just across thestreet. We meet some of the family that run the hotel and they were allgreat, just a nice group of people and staff! I wish I were still there!Thanks for such a great time!

Review 20：We stayed at the Hotel Kennedy in late April and were booked for 4nights. When we checked in the first night, there was a large group ofteenagers also staying at the hotel. Our room overlooked the pool, whichalso was the hotspot for the teenagers. Our air conditioning wasn'tworking on the 77° day, making our room unbearably hot. We couldn'tkeep our balcony door open, though, because of the noise from theteenagers that carried on well into the wee hours of the morning. Webarely slept that night between the uncomfortable room temp and thenoise from the kids. We asked the staff about the air conditioning, andwe were told that it was 'being fixed'. The second eveningbrought about another long night of no a/c and twice as much noisefrom the teenagers. The final straw was when, at 1 A.M., we wereawakened by sudden booming noises directly over us. We ran to ourbalcony to find out that the hotel was putting off fireworks for theseteenagers...again at 1 A.M.!! We checked out the next morning and founda better, quieter hotel. We will never stay at the Hotel Kennedy again.They seem to cater to large groups and have no quiet hours or concernfor their hotel guests. They were not apologetic about the lack of airconditioning, and the room safe didn't work.

Review 21：The hotel was clean and the view from our balcony was beautiful.

Review 22：The breakfast was a little lacking in choice as just had croissants, cakes, toast, cereals etc. but our Booking.com rate was so cheap for a 4 star hotel that we didn't really think this a problem. As with most European hotels, tea-makers in the rooms are not standard but would be nice.

Review 23：The staff were really nice and always tried to help, even those who did not speak good English. There was a really sweet and friendly gardener who chatted to us in English and he kept the grounds beautifully. The reception staff called a taxi to take and return us Saturday night to eat in Rocello although they had a huge party checking in for a wedding at the time. We were allowed to have our rooms on day of arrival even though it was only 11am - so we were happily unpacked and swimming there just hours after landing at the airport.

Review 25：As this is the 4th stay at the Kennedy you could say I love it . Justcomfortable and central to everything on the south coast . We extendedare stay , we usually end up doing that as we feel so at home .

Review 26：In the evenings there was entertainment until quite late and rooms arenot insulated for sound, this means that for light sleepers like myselfthere is no chance to rest. At my request (but only after two nights oflittle sleep) I was moved to a room on the other side of the hotelhowever the following night there was entertainment on that side of thehotel too! The staff show consideration for the comfort of guests butonly up to a certain point. I would expect more for 4 stars...ps. other users comments regarding holes in the walls etc. are 100% true, could be dangerous if you have young children.

Review 27：The restaurant (La pineta) has excellent quality food at reasonableprices and the restaurant staff is extremely friendly and helpful.

Review 28：The staff's ability to make you feel at home, their professionalism, and their can do attitude. The beach was easily accessible through and under pass and just a short walk. It is clean and beautiful. Although we did not spend too much time by the huge swimming pool, we noticed they could use more lounge chairs. The nightly entertainment varied and there was always music which added to a joyous atmosphere till the wee hours.

Review 29：Well: definitely not a very good place for 9-year old. Let's list: - No beach access (it was somehow hinted in the description) - one has to drive to Roccella - and don't expect miracles there either, despite being "blue flag" beach - Swimming pools rather difficult - one for kids is 70cm deep, so only suitable for small children, bigger swimming pool is 170cm minimum and then going deeper. Forget about playing in the pool with your kid and you have to watch it constantly - Breakfast monotonous, no fresh fruits or tomatoes. - In the room no glasses, plates and only one chair - not even possible to sit down. In summary maybe OK place for wedding party (as every weekend there) or for older couples. But why to drive so far to place like that?

Review 30：Rooms freshly refurbished and comfortable. Despite being close to theroad one does not hear noise. If one has room with balcony with swimmingpool view it is very nice indeed. Good coffee in the bar.

Review 31：We stayed for 3 nights midweek in June. The hotel hosted a wedding by the pool each night (weddings appear to be their main business).. The first finished at a reasonable time (around midnight) but the others went on until around 2am & were very noisy. If you stay here & don't want to listen to Donna Summer at 1.30am then ask for a room as far from the pool as possible. The staff generally weren't friendly or particularly helpful.

Review 32：The room was spacious & clean with a balcony & views of the pool & sea. It's a short walk to the beach. The food in the restaurant was good & reasonably priced.

Review 33：The hotel is in ideal position for the beach and about 5 minutes drive to nearest small town.The hotel has a large swimming pool (in season). The rooms are very clean and well furnished.The staff are very friendly and could not do enough for you. . Breakfast was very nice with lots to choose from. Overall we had a brilliant time. Would recommend hotel to anyone.
