Review 1：Constant smell of stale smoke in the corridor outside ouf room. Cost of continental breakfast at $26 per head, rediculous - - we didn't see anybody partaking, not surprisingly.

Review 3：We were on the ground floor and it was a bit annoying hearing the noise from people in the upstairs apartment moving around. We were unable to access WIFI due to the location of our apartment and had no TV reception for the entire second last day of our stay.

Review 4：The rooms in the apartment were spacious, especially the living area. The apartment was very clean and had all the facilities required to be self contained.

Review 7：We had to move rooms twice. Firstly, there was an ant infestation in the room. The second room didn't have the bed configuration we wanted. Then we were moved to a room that had the bed configuration we wanted but not the view. I don't blame the resort for the ant infestation. It can happen anywhere. We were there for 3 nights. On the first night, someone was having a party in the next room. I finally called reception at 5am and it was quiet after that. Again, not the resort's fault. We've travelled to Busselton many times before as an annual trip. We've always wanted to try out Abbey. We found that it wasn't the upmarket sort of place we thought previously. It was understaffed. We thought $8 per tray for room service a bit over the top. Food was average. Afternoon and morning tea were difficult to get as you had to order a larger dish. They have danish pastries for breakfast but impossible to get one any other time. They said they were out. No help getting our things up to the room. No wifi in room paid or not. I believe this is being addressed. I felt for 4.5 star rating, we could expect more. It was luxurious on the surface but in terms of getting food and free room service, very poor. We found other patrons inconsiderate and have finally decided that we've outgrown Busselton. Won't be back.

Review 9：Our first apartment was infested with cockroaches & ants. The staff were good and moved us the next day to another apartment. However both apartments had NO air conditioners in the bedrooms. The air conditioner in the main living areas did not reach through to the bedrooms making sleeping uncomfortable. There was NO Wifi available in the apartments. This is unacceptable.

Review 22：We've stayed before so we knew that the location and facilities were, by and large, great. We had understood that Wi-Fi was to have been installed by the time of this stay but it wasn't. Whilst the kids loved the pools and the beach, the lack of Wi-Fi shifts it down the pecking order when considering our next trip.

Review 23：Air conditioning wasn't working in the first room so we were shifted to another and assured the air conditioner was working it didn't seem to be any better we also had people come to visit who commented on the lack of effectiveness of the air conditioner We had come from other accommodation similar air conditioners set on 18 degrees a vast difference in the two places it would deter us staying in hot weather not very pleasant

Review 29：Our 1 bedroom apartment was quiet, clean and roomy. The setting is amazing with easy access to a magnificent beach with a walking/cycling path that stretches for miles along the coast.

Review 30：No nylon scourer in kitchen so couldn't wash dishes properly. Head fell off broom so difficult to use. No vacuum cleaner so not able to clean carpet (essential with children). Bed was too hard. You need to install rubber/foam topper for more comfort. One or two clothes airers/dryers are essential.(We were given one when requested.) Internet access in units should be available. Faded artificial flowers outside cafe look tacky and need replacing with real flowers or greenery

Review 32：First hotel I've ever been that charge child over 2 yrs old. My kids one is 18 months the other is 3 yrs. when we checked in duty manager told us that according to hotel policy they has to charge my elder kid extra $35/nite, so I looked back hotel policy it says extra person charge extra $35 for extra bed. So I asked the duty manager to get me a extra bed but she never shown up. End of the day we paid extra $70 for 2 nites stay but didn't get extra bed.

Review 34：Our ground floor apartment was very comfortable, well appointed and spacious. perfect accommodation for three generations ranging from 9 to 90 years old! Lovely to have beds made each day, towels changed and apartment tidied. Great selection of swimming options...walk to the beach, indoor heated pool and two outdoor pools.

Review 35：Hotel is a bit outdated and needs renovations done on the hallways, lifts and general appearance. Better signage as I got lost too many times. Movies should have an option to be purchased as a movie package via TV - not as DVDs. Our remote for the TV broke and while maintenance temporarily fixed part of the remote, there were no replacement remotes available. There should always be spares considering how large the resort is. The sheets on bed were rough and uncomfortable.

The coffee in the coffee shop was atrocious, none of us drank it, the service was slow and we were asked the same question multiple times. The food was ordinary and expensive. We wouldn't stay again by choice. To get a towel to swim in the pool you had to go to two places. The gift shop was closed during advertised 'open hours'. I normally don't bother doing reviews, but this experience was a blight on our otherwise lovely weekend.

Lose the fake geraniums, they are awful. Doesn't feel like a lush resort at all.

Review 91：The 2 bedroom apartment was full of dead insects and the doors and windows are covered in insects at night attracted by the lights including inside the rooms.There is no cooling in the bedrooms. Rooms are very tired and need updating. If you are looking for a relaxing getaway this is not the place. If you are wanting a nice stroll along the beach then the section out the front of the resort is not where you want to go. The beach is full of shells and rocks and not suitable for walking along.

Review 93：Unfortunately we did experience a small problem with cockroaches in the kitchen cupboards this was reported and I am sure would be dealt with promptly. we stayed in No 6 and our bedroom was facing the car park..not a problem for me but could hear a intermittent buzzing sound of a motor or something..even through earplugs..I am a light sleeper and it did disturb me a bit.

Review 115：Ordered tea for 2 in the cafe. One of the cups had lipstick on it and when we asked for another cup it was replaced by a badly stained cup. The china pot was also badly stained on the outside. There was only one tea bag in the pot so very weak. We had one breakfast, 2 dinners (1 buffet) which were all pretty average. There were ducks swimming in the outside pool which were not chased away, Very unhygienic.

Review 116：Very comfortable and clean room. The staff were all very friendly. The maitre de was extremely efficient and obliging.

Review 117：We enjoyed our stay and although the entrance to our suite area left a lot to be desir d, the rooms were cleaned every day but we arrived on a Monday left on the following Friday and at no time were the passages and stairwell cleaned they give the impr Saigon of being rundown and neglected.

Review 119：The buffet breakfast was way over priced and served from 0730 every morning. The reception staff were blunt to say the least and when they were advised of our thoughts on the buffet we were seen to be making a fuss. No refund or credit was given (we paid in advance) because we booked through booking.com, which was ridiculous. Do not expect to be advised of a wedding, conference or any other major event that would effect the quality of your stay. As a young couple expecting their first baby we went to Abbey Beach to relax and have a quiet weekend. This is not what we received.

Only have three knifes in room, two is bread knife and one is extremely small can't cut anything. Don't have hair dyer in room, ask reception to send one, but after twenty mins no body send and call me again tell me there is one in one of us room. I'm not idiot I already check all room than I asked right? But they send one final. Screen in one of the room was broken and there are lots of flying insects in room
