Review 2：This was a very pleasant experience indeed. Incredibly professional and helpful staff, wonderful room, great amenities, delicious food. Our best hotel for our trip. Slightly pricey, but you get what you pay for. It's a wonderful place to stay.LOCATION:A lot of construction was going around the hotel, but it's nestled in the main town so you're close to the market, golf course, park, etc. You can walk to all of those areas. Drivers can be arranged to the tea plantations if you want to take tours, which we did. Tuktuks can take you to Lover's Leap waterfall, which offers a stunning view of Nuwara Eliya as well as a nice waterfall. Other hiking options are available but a driver (not a tuktuk) will be needed to get to them.STAFF:Incredible staff. Everyone was helpful, everyone smiled, everyone was very professional. I never met a single staff member, from the cleaners to the cooks to the receptionists, who was not kind and courteous and helpful. Truly a stellar bunch of people.ROOM:Our room had a queen bed, and the room was fantastic. Modern fixtures, super clean, complimentary tea and coffee and water which was replaced for free as needed; it had everything you'd need.DINING:Food here is amazing. The breakfast buffet was bountiful and plentiful, diverse and delicious. The dinner was about 2000 Rs per person, but it was so worth it. They take food seriously at this place, and you'll love everything you eat. A la carte dinner and lunch is also available, and with the exception of a bland mushroom soup we ordered, everything was wonderful.AMENITIES:There are lots of great amenities at this hotel. A heated indoor pool is available, as well as a pretty decent gym upstairs. Spa services are also available, where my wife received what she says was the best massage in her life for $30 USD. Wifi is free and available throughout the property. It was slow, but it was there and reliable.

Review 15：New hotel, neatly tucked away from the city center, behind the iconic Grand Hotel. Friendly staff that gave a very warm reception and a personalized check-in. On the day we were leaving it was my birthday and the staff had arranged a birthday cake at breakfast - Thank you for the wonderful surprise. and a pleasant view from the room. We had booked two rooms and though the dimensions were different (ours was massive whilst the other was modest) the rooms were interconnected. The towels rolled up as swans in the room were nice eye-candy. The Hotel provided free accommodation for our driver which was definite plus.

Review 18：Bad toilets and towels, need to review the cleaning process. One of the staff took extra money from my card, but this was investigated and I accepted to be repayed without taking the case to the police. So, becareful when pre-autherizing your card.

Way too many. COmingall night. Smoke filled lobby due to this. -Too many "cheap"tourists shouting in this place that cost almost close to $300 with tax-Service charge of 10$ by the hotel itself. Is'nt that for roomrent. -Price: Close to $300 with the taxes, and service charge. Told meit is because of Booking.com charging high price. -Showed me that theypaid 10% room rent to Booking.Com and thus charged me that much extra-Way too much tourist hotel. Hundred of far east people running around,shouting, spitting. Breakfast is a fiasco with hundred of people tryingto leave at the same time. -No air conditioning. -Mosquitoes in the room-Wi fi did not work. The manager did not even understand problem.Response was dead slow. Finally, fixed it. But, very very slow. Told meit was their isp and they could not do anything(Previous day inAnuradhapura I paid almost a sixth of this rent and had a fantastic wifi-list goes on

Review 24：Because it is new there is work still going on around the place. Again for same reason the staff are new and not properly trained. When we arrived 4 members tried to book us in all at the same time leaving us confused about what was happening. Equally the Al la carte staff were untrained always coming in twos to take our order before continuously getting it wrong each time House keeping no better. There was no "do not disturb or please make p the room labels" We left our room early one morning and came back about 5.00pm tired after a trip to Horton plains. The room was not cleaned. We went to bed and after 20 minutes they came knocking on the door wakening us up. Later when we got ready we went to reception to say the room was ready for cleaning and they said they would attend. When we got back at circa 11.00pm it had not been done. There was only a trickle of cold water in our bath room just enough for cleaning teeth but not for a good shower The hotel owners have spent a lot of time effort and money on this hotel. I do hope they get over these teething troubles for a better future

Review 28：I got small problem with laundry staff. I gave them my used clothes to clean and iron by 490 SLR, so when they bring it back after cleaned and i gave them 500+ 200 as tip . They did not gave me the receipt and they added the laundry bill to my room invoice. When I make the check out, the reception man told me I have to payment the laundry bill, then I told him I already paid the laundry bill to the laundry staff. The reception man called the hotel manager and I explain to him my story and he did investigate about this problem with laundry staff, then he solve my problem with the hotel. Notice: If you payment anything inside the hotel you have to get the receipt for to be in safe side and evidence to prove your true position.

Review 30：This is by far the best hotel ever! I don't have words to express how wonderful our stay was. The staffeta treated us like royalty. Our room was upgraded at no charge there was beautiful flowers on our bed and towels layer out like kissing swans. Even a fresh cake with silverware waiting for us. We enjoyed a couples massage that was devine and a drink at the bar that fambolus. The food... was overy the top! The manager here should get a raise this place is perfect! There was even a live music that did a table side version of our wedding song that had me in tears. Your only regret staying here will be check out cause trust me you will not want to leave.

Review 31：What I absolutely didn't appreciate was the fact I needed to pay the bill two minutes after our arrival. furthermore the hotel must no doubt be the hotel with the ugliest interior décor I have ever witnessed. I could actually be an attraction by itself."the tackiest hotel in Sri Lanka". the place clearly suffers from moisture in the walls and this spreads an unpleasant smell through some of the public areas.
