Review 1：no idea how they can have 4 stars - deserve max. 2! Room/ Bath in very bad condition, mold, mounting broken,... I also added pictures. Sauna/wellness was closed for renovation - one of the reasons why we booked it (also would have been extra costs - which was not mentioned in description here). Breakfast: replacements too slow, fruits were a joke, pancake out and couldn't be refilled.

Review 7：You need a car, otherwise it's difficult to get there and get away from there. Bicycle rental should be for free as there's nothing else to do but ride the bike (it's close to €13 per person per day). I don't think it should be a 4* hotel - kind of renovated old place, you can feel a bit of "built decades ago", but otherwise, nice and clean.

Review 9：fire alarm went off at 3 am. Neighbours of ours messed about with waxine lights. stupid youngsters but from then on showed no remorse and kept on partying. Tried to contact front desk/reception for more than 20 min!!!!! no reply!!! excuse .... he was hoovering and didn't hear the phone!!!!! Impossible to my mind. Interior very dated!! So 80's the corridors. When looking for decor for 80's films; this is the place to be!!!

Review 10：they put their money where their mouth is: 15 min policy; no cure NO PAY!!! So money back but no night rest as well; broken all day as a result of that. The latter part isn't a plus of course!

Review 11：Menu was not varied enough for me. I only like plain and simple food as I am lactose intolerant.

Review 13：Broken shower door and broken insect screen in room 122 . Bad service inthe dining room with several blunders. Prebaked bread should be servedfresh and warm from the oven , not cold and sticky. No cutlery given forthe shrimp cocktail , we had to use the large cutlery intended for themain course.This cutlery had not been replaced when the main course wasset on the table and we had to wait. Bottle of wine ordered .This wassimply placed on the table , not opened or offered the chancej to tasteit. No serviettes on the table.

Review 15：Breakfast area where food is presented, is a bit on the small side to cater for a lot of people all at the same time. However plenty of space and great views from the restaurant area.

Review 16：We loved the location and the great lake views. The hotel has relaxing lounge chairs and is a good place for both the business man as well as the holidaymaker. We liked it so much we came back twice in one month! Reception staff very obliging.

Review 17：We had asked for a quiet room, as the time before but this time we did not get one and there was noise all night. Breakfast was a shambles - a lot of guests but hardly anyone visible on duty. There were canisters of tea/coffee but nothing to say which was which. No jugs to take milk to the table and with so many guests, it was not a pleasurable breakfast. Again, a poor choice - only boiled or scambled eggs and the latter not nicely cooked either. Time they did something here as it is the second time breakfast has not been that good.

Review 39：1st time I am disppointed by this hotel : I had an "old" room. A bus of Asian people arrived the same day; maybe the hotel was short of renovated rooms.

Review 42：A very nice hotel, beautiful located close to the Veluwemeer Lake, and central for excoursions in all of the Netherlands. A very friendly and helpfull staff. We were supplied with a dubble duvee, and it was without any problems replaced with two individual duvees. Excellent breakfast, and a really good value for money. It was our first stay at this hotel, definately not our last!

Review 49：Very disappoing in comparison to other postillion hotels we stayed in. Bunnik and dorderecht were excellent. This one was very old looking, needs renovation! Room is small when a baby bed is added. Surrounding disappointing. Breakfast room was very crowded, long lines for coffee and bread, food was not refilled efficiently enough. All in all not the level we were expecting.

Review 50：1) The beach is not so nice (broken pieces of glass and some dodgy characters - see also below) 2) The window of our car got smashed in broad daylight. The insurance paid but we were left with a €150 deductible :-( We felt that the way the parking lot is set up (it is used as a public parking for a nearby beach, but on the other hand some spots near the entrance are reserved for coaches from the hotel, so we had to park the car further down near the periphery) the hotel should assume some responsibilty as well. They did by 2.1) not charging us for the last night and 2.2) helping us to report the incident to the local police (which is done in Dutch), sealing the broken window with a plane and leaving it in a guarded area during the night. Without the window incident we would have rated the hotel as excellent in all 6 categories. Now we feel that the location is not a safe one. We might even stay there again, but only if the car could be parked very near the entrance.

Review 62：Nice hotel, situated just off the A28. Friendly and helpful staff. Easy to get to Utrecht and Amersterdam from local train station in Putten, 2-3 mins drive away. One downside was the strong smell of the pig and chickens farms in the local area when the wind was blowing the wrong way. That's nature though. Overall a pleasnt stay..
