Review 4:The top loft had plenty if character and period charm.

Review 5:Perfect location. Very helpful and welcoming owner of the place. The building itself is very full of character and contributes to the overall experience. Rooms on the top floor have amazing view over the valley.

Review 6:Hotel above a restaurant kitchen. Noisy and they played radio till kitchen closed. Our room next door to reception desk which noisy. Hotel tiny and more like a B&B. Owner only staff member when we were there.

Review 7:Town is very pretty and well located to explore from. Antica Locanda is in a pretty street at one entrance to the small town.

Review 8:Steep stairs up to flats and to second floor, could be an issue for some people. Breakfast basic but in room.

Review 9:Good setting. Attractive rooms of good size.

Review 10:No fresh fruit for breakfast

Review 11:Thankyou for this opportunity to give feed back from our stay in Antica Locanda. The position was perfect for us as we had a wedding in the village and parking proved not to be a problem. Danny the owner was very welcoming and willing to converse in a mixture of Italian, French and English which suited us fine.. We were able to choose a wonderful attic room with magnificent views over the countryside and rooftops. Breakfast was already in the room and adequate although we missed fresh fruit! If we were to go again we would definitely ask for that room as some of the others were a little dark. All was clean and very comfortable. The location is excellent and made us feel part of the town....especially as the little restaurant below was obviously popular with the locals.

Review 12:the owner is very kind and the room is very nice! you can take a view about the most famous vally from the window.the room also very beautiful and clean! we like it very much!

Review 19:Room was a bit cramped for 4 people.

Review 20:Friendly host and lovely village

Review 21:Breakfast was choice of hot drinks and pre-packaged grilled toast, pastries and plain biscuits.

Review 22:Lovely, character double room with ensuite with window looking out into Pienza village's main street. Lovely and welcoming host. Free and accessible parking just outside the walls - 5mins walk. Great location within Pienza's walls.

Review 23:The owner/hostess was the most wonderful person. She'll suggest everything from good restaurants to places to go see while out driving around. Great location.

Review 24:The three flights of stairs, but in a 15th century building one can hardly expect otherwise. We were particularly affected because we were travelling for 5 weeks through 2 hemispheres, but a for a long weekend visit the stairs shoud be less of a problem.

Review 25:Our room was very good - spacious, well equipped and with postcard views. Everything was beautifully clean and well maintained. Signora, who runs it, is a treasure.

Review 26:Breakfast in the room was prepackaged. We chose to not eat in the room but to have our breakfast in a local cafe bar near by. This is not a major item but just one that should be noted.

Review 27:The location is wonderful and the information from Barbara was greatly appreciated. We were made to feel so very welcome and appreciated. Barbara took time to show us each of the unique rooms and explained anything we asked.

Review 28:Breakfast in plastic packs with a kettle in the room seemed a bit mean, though.

Review 29:Location excellent, facilities fair.

Review 30:Everything was perfect

Review 31:Very pleasant, cosy and friendly place. The hotel is as the city quiet and you feel the renaissance. Many thanks, Barbara!
