Reviews for Villa Pozzi

Review 1:Internet did not work, bed was really bad for my back (therefore I had to leave) and WLAN did not work. Breakfast was more or less non existent and a quick glimpse into the coffee machine swiftly cured me from having anything there, at all. Place needs a serious effort to live up to minimum standards.

Review 2:the place is run by a church and should raise funds for work with people with special abilities, so a good cause that you would want to support. also, it was the last place during a very busy conference and the bathroom was quite good compared to the other facilities. Additionally, they made no fuss when I asked for changing the reservation from 4 to 1 nights.

Review 3:- It's impossible to have a stand up shower because of the bathtub structure. - Doesn't have air conditioning - If you don't have a car you lost hours to get a bus. - Is far from the center - We give up the breakfast because it wasn't a 7 euro breakfast.

Review 4:Villa Possy are a verry nice, quite and safe place to live. The staff at the hotel are very friend ly and you feel they take care for you. Nice place to live if you are woman, like this natur and travell alone.

Review 5:Vincenzo was very nice. Laid back, told us a bit of history about the hotel with its religious background. Charming chapel next to our room. Room was very clean and nicely painted. Nice lounge downstairs, tastely decorated and furnished. The area Sestri levante is very nice, not too big not too small, a very enjoyable spot with nice beach also, lots of nice restaurants. I would recommend the hotel to anybody.

Review 6:Close to the sea; sea view;near bus stop; to the center sestri levante u can go also by walk only 3 km; helpful owner

Review 7:no parking places, although booking.com said it has.

Review 8:the hotel is about 2 minutes away from the beach.

Review 9:Nice hotel, close to the beach. Perfect for a solo traveller to have a pit stop.

Review 10:I have nothing to complain

Review 11:Nice setting in calm part of Sestri Levante, very friendly staff, accommodation acording to price. Free wifi in lobby. Thumbs up for free parking.

Review 12:The room was very basic but adequete for an short stay. The town is very small and not a lot to see or do.

Review 13:Staff very friendly. The restaurant in the hotel was superb and one of the best meals we had in Italy.

Review 14:Wifi was available only in the lobby area. There were very limited options for eating within walking distance.

Review 15:The furnishings were simple and the room was very clean and comfortable. We felt very secure. On-site parking was very nice. It was easy to walk to the small commercial area for dinner. For the price it was very good value for money.

Review 16:This was a really disappointing place to spend the night. Ok we paid aspecial discount price of € 34 but this isn't even worth it. Theworst atmosphere in a hotel we have ever experienced. The rooms areChristian and minimalistic decorated. The breakfast was poor. At themoment we were eating breakfast the chef was baking fish and garlic at8:30 in the morning! It was a disgusting smell so we left asap.Luckily we only stayed one night here. How can this hotel get such ahigh rating??

Review 17:Uhm maybe that the beach is close to the hotel? But do not expectanything of it or the village.

Review 18:Normally we check the others opinion to help us to decide where to stay. When we saw(also the photos) the rating so high for this Villa wedecided for that. That is the idea to have the rating Score at Booking,to support our decision. And so far, we don’t have any problem. I haveto admit ! Until now! At Villa Pozzi all the theories of “ How to chaseyour clients ”, or “ How to not(never) bring back your customers in 2days” took place. So, lets go with some feedback. First, or the clientsare friends of the owner or the owner is giving something extra, that isnot showing at the reservation. There is nothing at the villa pozzi thatcould explain so high score (8.5)!!!! Second, the hotel/VILLA,cannot be called as hotel, they are a Christian Association. It seemsthat is an old House (Monastery) for Priests/Novice before. Andbecome a Inn. Some upgrades are ongoing(they said). This information isnot showing at the Booking site, clearly. The bathrooms are very small. We couldn’t took a shower or move easily. Third, the breakfast do notexist, unless you’re on diet process. Very poor! Ok for 5 Euros what wecan expect ? Fourth, we decided to move because we were travelling alsowith older couple, and for our surprise we received the bill with fees.We were overcharged by 30 Euro per day because, as per they called it,late cancellation. Normally we pay the night that we spent and sometimesthe breakfast(sic), that all. The penalty is against the contract, whereestablish the value of one night (120 Euros), in waiver case (Bookinginfo). During the negotiation to avoid the fees and/or to reduce thepenalty, we called booking, which tried several times to contact thevilla pozzi, but as we know, at this time there is no responsibleavailable or the phone is not available. And worst, when Booking triedto contact the front desk people, they said that Booking could not talkto them directly. So a mess !!!!

Review 19:Close to the beach

Review 20:nothing....I went all over Italy and this was the best place i went to...I wish i had stayed longer.

Review 21:We loved everything about this holiday house. The beds were comfortable, the food was lovely, beach was beautiful, and the staff was amazingly friendly really above and beyond. My husband loved the language option on the TVs so he could watch in English. I loved the private beach and the well designed clean rooms. Further more all the profits go to charity and the owner plays the guitar very well. Perfect quiet get away with out any pretentiousness, it's just relaxing.
