Reviews for Hotel Marija

Review 1:The only negative during our stay was that the mattress in our room #14 was awful.

Review 2:Excellent location inside the old city walls. Room had nice view, great wifi. Friendly staff, good breakfast. Free parking at their other hotel is about 2 km away. Inexpensive taxi ride there. The nearby parking lot outside the walls is quite expensive.

Review 3:Because it is an old building, it was a little cold (end of April), although this can be an advantage for summer season. Sound issue, you can hear it all from the nearby rooms and the street. Some equipment needs maintenance

Review 4:Superb location, very kind hosts, good breakfast.

Review 5:The walls of the building are very thin - you can hear everything from the street even with the windows and shutters closed. Also, the church bells nearby may wake you up early in the mornings. I am a deep sleeper so it didn't bother me too much but it could be an issue. Breakfast was mostly cold or lukewarm pastries and such. You can order a freshly made omelette though which was quite good!

Review 6:Location was fantastic - right by the St. Nicholas church in Kotor's old town, it is a great base to explore the Bay of Kotor in. Staff were super friendly and accommodating. They spoke good English as well. I had a really nice room with a gorgeous balcony that looks right onto the street. Beautiful streetscape with the mountain as the backdrop.

Review 7:I asked for a quiet room in the back which was fine. The other 2 couples in our group got front facing rooms and the outside noise was really loud though the windows were closed. I found the price a bit expensive for what you got.

Review 8:Location and how it looked outside. That it had history and the staff.

Review 9:It's just and old hotel, with old decoration, but just good for the money in centre of Kotor.

Review 10:The staff is very nice and helpful. It's a beautiful and charming old bulding right in the centre of Kotor.

Review 21:The old fashioned charm of this small hotel and the great location in the centre of Kotor Old Town. Lovely wooden shutters. In one of the rainy days 2 very good buskers played outside our room - it was like being serenaded - delightful. Lovely breakfast - best omelette I've ever had.

Review 22:Just a minor thing, the water in the shower didn't have enough pressure. But maybe it was a temporary thing, as the days we were there were extremely hot.

Review 23:We stayed one night, on our arrival in Kotor, and then came back for 2 more nights after traveling in the rest of the country. Wonderful location, right in the centre of the city. Staff really helpful and polite. We greatly appreciated the fact that we weren't charged for the laundry service that we despairately needed after many days on the road (even though there was a price list in the room, and the prices were fair enough). The breakfast was also good. The room was big, comfortable and nicely decorated.

Review 24:Lovely place in a lovely city. I enjoyed the breakfast and the views from my room of a quiet street in the Old Town by night and early morning.

Review 25:Very small room, in the top of the building, 3 floors without lift
