Review 1：Same breakfast every morning. I expect more variety from a four star hotel. The hotel is rated as a four star, as mentioned, but for four stars I expect at least a bar fridge and kettle in the room. The room was very, very basic and cramped. Had to climb over the corner of the bed to move from one part of the room to another. Room was poorly lit and the area where the wardrobe was, was so dark that it is impossible to use without a torch light. Actually cannot believe that anyone, not to mention a four star hotel, still make use of shabby shower curtains. Some evenings, the restaurant/bar were understaffed. Waited long to be served in the bar due to the only staff member attending to restaurant guests. At some stage, I just left and went to my room.

Review 7：Small swimming pool. Bar closes too early (23.00 hrs). Evening dinner from choice menu not possible. No WiFi internet near the lodges. Not exactly a kiddie-friendly place.

Review 8：Nice setting in the green. Quiet environment. Friendly and helpful personnel. Good accommodation. Good beds. Good quality breakfast. Nice garden. Adequate parking space. Pushbike repair shop. Good selection of rental bikes. Excellent cycling environment with good all-round infrastructure.

Review 43：- Lunch - the food was good quality but the menu was very very limited - bar food only and nothing for children except tostis- I stay in a lot of hotels and have never seen dust like I saw here - I complained and they sent up housekeeping to clean again, then there was still dust - not on tops of doors or anything funny like that - the dust was thick right on the bedside table and the carpets - made me think that maybe the rooms are not rented out very often - it is an old building - when we first checked in there was a huge dead grasshopper lying by the bed- there were no mattress protectors on the beds - we didn't find this out until we were about to leave (I always strip the bed before I go) - we were horrified by this and if we had known we would not have slept there - yuk - two nights lying in the sweat and skin of strangers- it was cold and draughty in the room - we couldn't get warm - like I said, old building, poor windows, poor insulation- the towels were cheap, thin and too small- in 4 star hotels you don't expect to have to hire a bathrobe for 7,50 per person- where was the shower gel? there was soap and shampoo, but no shower gelwe had a lot of baggage as we were there for a wedding, so had suits, spare shoes, lots of stuff for 3 people - I asked if there was a trolley and was shown where it was - I then had to load all the stuff onto the trolley myself - when I got to the lift, the trolley did not fit into the lift - I then offloaded it all off again into the lift and had to make 10 trips to get it from the lift to my room - when I said this to the receptionist she said "you could have asked us for help" - she watched me doing all of this but did not offer - ok, so that's more a nation culture thing than about their hotel, but it's not what I am used to- it is a beautiful old building with lovely décor and a nice pool, but when I book 4 star hotels (which I do a lot) I expect 4 star service and 4 star cleanliness
