Review 1：I was really shocked to learn that they force you to give up your shoes and put them under lock and key in a very narrow cubby upon entering the facility. This is a very dangerous practice because retrieving them would be really hazardous in case of a fire. I wish I had known this in advance - I never would have booked here. This is not a normal practice. They also played loud music that I found obnoxious.

Review 2：I didn't stay because I didn't want to give up my shoes. But the staff person was nice and the facility looked pleasant. Also the property is in a good location.

Review 6：Staff was very friendly. One of them delivered medicine into my room when I asked for it before I go for shower. Place is clean and environment is cozy. Each bunk has a lot of privacy with curtains at all corners. Located very near Haeundae beach and station, and with mini marts nearby which is very convenient.

Review 7：The 6 bed dorm was tiny and cramped, with no space for repacking my bags (which was one of the main things I needed to do before I moved to a hotel for the rest of my stay). The room I had booked online was so different in the picture and more suitable to my needs (which is the reason why I booked it). When I told the staff about this fact (including the fact I broke some of my things due to this problem) they just shrugged it off and the manager gave me a hug (?!?)

Review 8：The living and dining area were very nice and the breakfast well organised and OK for the price.

Review 9：We had asked for BBQ facilities 1 week before via email but when we got there, the BBQ facilities are broken, and we already bought a lot of seafood for the BBQ :(. So maybe next time, we need to ask for confirmation before buying the food :)))

Review 10：The place is clean, smell is good. It is easy to get to subway and beach from the guest house. The staff is nice.

Review 11：The staff in the morning was never on time. The bathrooms were often very dirty. The cats were sitting on the table (I know cat lovers don't care, I do). And because the cat's toilet is close to a big (eating) table, you always have the smell in your nose.

Review 12：I liked the atmosphere and that also a lot of familys were there. The breakfast was good (Orangejuice, toast, jam, butter, eggs, coffee). And it is a short distance to the beach, to excellent restaurants and to bus/subway (e.g bus to Haedong Yonggungsa Temple).

Review 14：That's good-located as it is near to the famous beaches, haeundae and gwangalli beach which you can have a romantic walk at night whenever you like! The staff are very nice also. I like the lovely decoration around the lobby. For the bed room is very quiet and the curtain surrounding the bed gives you enough privacy hahaaa Overall, it's clean.

Review 20：1. this guesthouse moved to another place but didn't inform. we arrived at d places stated in their website n it is totally empty. the cleaner of the building (who can't speak English) helped us to call the guesthouse person. After a while, a person walked in & told us d guesthouse to another place. we've been told to move to the new place. 2. during our stay in busan, the temperature was about 6 degree at night. they don't provide water heater after 11pm. That's totally ridiculous to bath in freezing cold water while the temperature is 6 degree. 3. the wifi is so poor. guests can only connect to the wifi at the public area. we can't even get any wifi signal in our jailed like room. 4. they said breakfast was provided. but what i saw was 15 people sharing 1 and half loaf of bread. the food is not enough. But no one duty at the counter.

Review 21：Staffs are not always in the counter. The design of facilities no good such as toilet is outside the main entrance. The lif is not operate until facilities early of the morning. The time of shower have to share (male and female).

Review 22：Hostel ở tầng 6, thang máy chỉ hoạt động đến 22h. Không thể liên lạc với nhân viên để check out sớm lúc 07:30 dù có báo trước đó (để nhận lại tiền đặt cọc khi check out) cho kịp chuyến bay. Từ sân bay Gimhae về Hostel khá xa, mất khoảng 50 phút đi tàu điện.

Review 24：We had a bed experience there as well as some travelers we met there. The staff who was at the reception when we arrived was a really cold and rude women/girl. The only words she said to us was"check in is only after 2" then she didn't want to "waste" any of her time to talk with us. They provide breakfirt for free, but you need to get very early to get an egg or some juicy, otherwise there would be no more. The dorm is really warm, too warm to sleep well. The shower is reasonable, the only problem is girls need to waite some times. The worst thing for us and our roommates was that there is no staff at the reception befor 9am, it means the elevator will only be opened after 9:30(yes, they do block the elevator from 11pm until 9 am) don't forget it is in on the 6th floor! If you have big luggage, be carefull! The atmosphere is really strange. We've traveled more then 50 countries, some times the facilities are really limited, but the atmosphere always makes us satisfied. Here, you will not feel the spirit of a hotel. Can't understand why it has a good rating. Not recommended.

Review 29：Location was very good for the beach, and a close walk (approx 15 mins)to Metro and restaurants... But it seems many other hostels/hotelswere located much closer to these things. Walking to and from the metroto see temples was especially exhausting at times. I also found manyinconsistencies in prices and room availabilities depending on thebooking site (and even different when you call). My friends for examplebooked a couple days later than me and were accepted by the booking siteonly to find out a day before we left that there were not actually bedsleft at HiKorea. So word to the wise, call first!!

Review 31：Cannot use wifi when your in your dorms, you have to be outside in the kitchen area to get full bar. Bed... its not what I expected, the spring kinda pokes your back and the bed was flat hard, felt like sleeping in the floor but with a bit comfy.

Review 47：I had a very great time staying at Hi Korea hostel. The staff is really friendly, the place is cosy, clean and heart-warming with it's gathered-up sweet memories from previous guests. The area is also nice, and the Haeundae beach is just 10 mins walk away. I could highly recommend this place for anyone, it was one of the best guest houses I've ever been to.

Review 51：As for things I did not like: we were staying in a 4-bed room, so there were two other girls who came back drunk in the middle of the night, were constantly going in and out of the room, slamming the door like crazy, and the smell in the room (because there are no window in the rooms) was awful. So it is better to go either with a larger group of friends or book the whole room just for yourself.

If one of the staff reads it, I have a favour to ask of you: please let the cat off leash for some time every day and let it walk freely because it is not a dog to sit in one place all the time, it is simply not healthy.
