Reviews for Hotel Palazzo Radomiri
Review 1:If you have a car, this is a great place to stay. The room was very nice, the dinners were spectacular (especially the big fish/seafood plate), the staff was great, it is quiet, its dock is nice, and the views are great.
Review 2:Although we stayed just before the hotel closed for the season we felt that the management could have done more to make sure the kitchen was fully stocked
Review 3:Excellent location
Review 4:Check what floor you'll be on if you're not great on stairs.
Review 5:This is a fully restored property in a beautiful location only metres from the magnificent Bay of Kotor. The building has been very sympathetically refurbished with very attractive features. The staff were all very helpful and friendly.
Review 6:The hotel was lovely, staff were very accommodating, excellent location, and food was excellent! Walking by the sea was so relaxing. This hotel was a wonderful choice for my daughter and I to enjoy!
Review 7:Whilst the hotel is in a nice location, it was a bit further from Kotor than we expected. There was also one staff member (a guy who was working in the bar while we were there) who came across as very surly and unfriendly - this seems a bit of a shame when the other staff are so good!
Review 8:Overall, we really liked the hotel - the building has been really nicely renovated and the rooms are lovely and really comfortable (we had a huge bathroom, which we weren't expecting!) The facilities are good, and there are lots of places to sit and relax. Overall, the staff are great - we found Nikola, Tomo, and Stana very friendly and helpful. The food we had in the restaurant was nice, and the homemade cherry brandy was delicious!
Review 9:Not a bad experience at all - just a few improvements that could be made. Staff could wear smarter clothes, laundry should not be charged per item, there should be no added costs for breakfast.
Review 10:The location The design and interior of the hotel - absolutely exquisite
Review 11:Everything was perfect from the moment we arrived. The location is absolutely stunning, the hotel is beautiful and we were very well looked after. The staff were so attentive, but in a relaxed discrete way. It was nice to stay in a spot of luxury and feel so comfortable too. The hotel was right on the water, perfect for views and swimming. A short walk to the small shop and a very short taxi into Kotor - great for a walk round the cobbled streets and dinner in the evening. We could relax on the sunbeds with food and drink, or nip out on one of the hire kayaks and go exploring. The room was large, beautifully furnished and had great views. The staff topped everything off with their attentive, personable and welcoming nature. Hope we go back one day!
Review 12:Can't fault it, would happily go back there.
Review 13:Ana the owner is lovely. It's just a really chilled place, great setting and really good location, just 5 minutes in taxi to Kotor Old Town.
Review 14:The main disappointment about this place is the food (though there are other places to eat within walking distance) and also the very poor attitude of some of the waiters and the quality of their service. This really lets the hotel down. Everything else though was lovely.
Review 15:Beautiful location, stunning views from the rooms on the first and second floor rooms. A lovely feel to the hotel in terms of decor and layout. Nice to be able to hire bikes and kayaks. Loved being able to sit by the bay and swim. A special place. The owner was very friendly and tried hard to ensure guests were comfortable. Stana and Nikola on reception were excellent.
Review 16:Unprofessional management lead to us having an unhappy and uncomfortable experience. The hotel is like a poorly run family B&B and the quality of service does not live up to it's four star rating. The breakfast was atrocious - there are too many rules regarding the choice on offer, the coffee is undrinkable, they really can't cook an egg, and the staff never smile. Our bathroom was cramped and badly lit, a bad case of style over function! This place has potential but it really fell short of the standard!
Review 17:Beautiful building in a stunning location
Review 18:Worst AC on a 3 week trip through the region. We stayed 3 nights in a "family" room which is two bedrooms. The AC unit was in the space between the two rooms and woefully undersized. I don't believe the room temp ever got below 78-80 degrees even though we made sure to keep all blinds shut. Wifi was also horrible. Had to go outside by the pool to pick up a connection.
Review 19:Nickolas was awesome. Consistently went out of his way to help. Views are amazing
Review 20:Service and attitude of staff was first class. Nikola and Tom in particular. Beautifully furnished room with modern bathroom and shower. Location next to the picturesque sea and mountain views. This is a wonderful hotel. It deserves 5 star status, rather than 4.
Review 21:Gates close after certain time and wifi intermittent in some parts of building due to thick palace stone walls but being disconnected is part of the charm of staying here.
Review 22:Great location, fantastic views, beautiful maintained building, very clean, excellent service, wonderful welcoming hosts that make it feel like a bespoke stay
Review 23:No wifi in the bedroom. TV not tuned in.
Review 24:The location. Ideally situated on the waterfront. Loved bring able to sit outside and enjoy the scenery. Accomodation was very spacious, clean & comfortable. Food & drink were delicious.
Review 25:Nothing to do when it rains.
Review 26:The location, the food at dinner. It's a nice place when the weather is nice. Unfortunately, it was very rainy and there's nothing to do whe it's rainy.
Review 27:The breakfast is disappointing - watery juice drinks, stale pastries, barely warm toast and inedible oat porridge. They can do better! There are some management issues in the hotel - problems don't get fixed and it's not clear who has responsibility for them.
Review 28:The location is superb - probably the best on the Kotor coast. The hotel is comfortable and the rooms large all with view of the bay. Hotel staff friendly and in the main helpful. Food in the restaurant is good though expensive. A very relaxing place to stay with a lot of character.
Review 29:Nothing
Review 30:beautiful hotel in perfect location within easy reach of Kotor. The service provided was excellent nothing is too much trouble good choice for breakfast. The hotel has been tastefully renovated and is definitely worth the four stars would stay there again and would recommend it.
Review 31:The water of the ocean (in the Kotor gulf) is not so clean as CroatianAdriatic ocean (open ocean).
Review 32:Location, just near from the ocean. Lovely pool. We enjoyed swimming.Restaurant is also good.
Review 33:Smelly drains outside the hotel were very off-putting, and the quality of the evening meals varied hugely; one night excellent and the next poor (admittedly during a thunderstorm, but no reason to serve substandard food)
Review 34:Wonderful views and lovely building, beautifully restored
Review 35:Boy, did it rain! Our room - 302 - was a little small (I think it is the smallest room) - but I was told that at the time of booking it was the only one available - as I especially wanted to stay here I was happy to take it.
Review 36:The staff were exceptionally welcoming and friendly at this beautiful and historic hotel. The quiet location with its loungers on a jetty looking out towards that stupendous view was truly idyllic.
Review 37:Average food, uncomfortable bed, poor value for money
Review 38:Scenery
Review 39:Tiny bathroom with no shelving for cosmetics.
Review 40:Non-touristy location on waterfront. Kayaks, paddle boards and bicycles on location to rent.
Review 41:The location is beautiful. The staff was friendly and helpful and the food was excellent! What more could you wish for? We would love to go back.
Review 42:All good.
Review 43:Excellent views, and very relaxing environment.
Review 44:Owners very nice & helpful
Review 45:The friendly and very helpful staff.
Review 46:Slightly overpriced restaurant.
Review 47:The peacefulness, the look and the location.
Review 48:Nothing worth mentioning
Review 49:Lovation
Review 50:Perfect location, clean water, fantastic view. Excellent restaurant. Friendly and professional staff.
Review 51:Excellent service and very friendly staff, period history and character, great location and excellent views over the Bay of Kotor
Review 52:Breakfast was a little repetitive
Review 53:The location and service was great
Review 54:Lots of steps!!
Review 55:Beautiful setting. Charming room overlooking bay.
Review 56:Incredible location
Review 57:Staff , location, cleanliness
Review 58:location, weak wifi
Review 59:design, staff
Review 60:One of our bedrooms smelled on dump.
Review 61:Frendlines and food.
Review 62:Stewed coffee every m
Review 63:Room decor Overall feeling and ambience Friendly service
Review 64:Complimentary morning yoga outdoors overlooking Bay of Kotor Breakfast menu Friendliness of staff Personal feel
Review 65:Picture postcard setting. A little bit of paradise.
Review 66:Everything
Review 67:Staff were very accommodating, location is great, rooms were clean and good sized. Great vacation.
Review 68:The sink in one of our rooms was not functional for the first 2 days. The staff were trying their best to resolve the problem but it was disappointing to find the problem on arrival. The breakfasts were plentiful but they are really not practical for the staff who managed okay but were rushing back and forth. It does not allow guests to have flexibility. Our concern is with the wastage of the set breakfast options as it is not possible to eat a complete breakfast that is offered on the menu.
Review 69:The location was great with the most beautiful view from our rooms. Mia makes the most wonderful cocktails and is happy to cater to any request. All the other staff were friendly and helpful and we were so grateful for the excellent assistance from the night staff who helped us for our early morning check out. The hotel has been restored beautifully is very stylish. The staff were very accommodating to clients with special dietary requirements.
Review 70:too many steps to anywhere! The first room we were given on the top floor was up many stairs and had no view of water.
Review 71:When upgraded to a lower room we had a suite and wonderful facilities, good wi-fi signal in the 2nd bedroom, a great view. Lovely linens. Location right on water. Great location right outside Kotor. Quiet, private.
Review 72:We did not think that the food at breakfast was very good.
Review 73:Charming, small hotel by the bay of Kotor, with very friendly and helpful staff and stunning views. It was easy to find by car and close to many towns around the bay. We also liked the ease of parking.
Review 74:There is nothing to dislike! In general Montenegrin food can do with a bit more salt but that's a personal preference.
Review 75:We had an amazing time at Palazzo Radomiri, the staff were very polite, helpful and engaging. The location, facilities and furnishings were excellent. The view of Kotor bay is outstanding from the hotel and its beach. We were very impressed by the very thoughtful and considerate staff. It made our first visit to Montenegro a delightful and memorable experience.
Review 76:Nothing was too much trouble, very relaxing location and service. informality of menu - had whole seabass cooked just for us - owner served and poured wine .. great character. everyone just wanted you to be happy and enjoy your stay.
Review 77:The breakfast could be a bit tastier - but there is plenty of choice so maybe we picked the wrong one. We wished that we could stay longer at Palazzo Radomiri!
Review 78:We had a wonderful stay in Palazzo Radomiri! The staff is friendly, the rooms and the location are beautiful. We enjoyed the sauna on a rainy day and just gazing at the Bay of Kotor. The restaurant is excellent. The Palazzo is not far away from Kotor old city, but distant enough to be in a quiet location.
Review 79:Lovely and very helpful staff service with personal touch free yogaevery morning direct access to sea from hotel's jetty (with deckchairs) great views of Kotor bay and the mountains
Review 80:Sadly, our stay at the Palazzo disappointed on a number of counts. Loud blaring rock music, a member of staff who was exceptionally rude when asked to turn it off after 11pm, a chaotic breakfast buffet (not enough bowls, not being replenished, the sole member of staff chatting in the kitchen), no hot water on one morning, and silly rules about not consuming your own drinks in your own room.
Review 81:Stunning views, good location by the waterfront, and a beautiful room with a balcony (The Glorioso junior suite).
Review 82:Manager/owner continuously shouted and complained to the staff. Itis good that he is on top of things, but at some point the situationsbecame really uncomfortable for the guests. Breakfast was a low point. They even charge extra for a capuccino (this didn't happen in anyother hotel in the country). The hotels tends to charge extra for a lotof things, which should be part of the ameneties considering the pricesyou are paying per night. The rooms in the third floor have a problemwith the design of the bathrooms: the roof is too low so you easily canhit your head on the roof and the showers are tiny. It was my caseseveral times.
Review 83:Quite pricey. Room and bathroom rather small, especially for the price. Some of the furnishings and fittings need updating our replacing.
Review 84:Personalised, friendly service. Went out of their way to accommodate our dietary requirements. Excellent, beautiful location on seafront. Relaxing ambience
Review 85:Service was impeccable, location and views were great, rooms were very comfortable
Review 86:Great location, great staff... Would return!!! Thanks!!
Review 87:The staff went the extra mile . Location was excellent. Quality of the building and furnishings.
Review 88:The charm of the palace and attention to detail
Review 89:The best small hotel I've seen in Montenegro!
Review 90:Breakfast and decoration a bit charged
Review 91:The view and access to the see
Review 92:Stunning location. Exceptional staff. Free yoga every morning. Excellent massages.
Review 93:everything perfect
