Review 3：Great family hotel. Excellent location , outside Koudum, Friesland. Wonderful view over hotels own yachting harbor and surrounding waterways, from big outside terrace. Strongly recommend booking first floor lakeview rooms, when staying there. Best breakfast we enjoyed for a long time, while luncheon and dinner choices are of first class quality. This was our 2nd stay at this hotel and would return any time

Review 4：The sauna has a stench of burned petroleum, instant headache... The sauna part is quiet out dated, the floor terribly slippery. Only for private use with reservation, so it wouldbe possible if you booked this hotel for the sauna, it might be full. So u cant use it. Its not worth it with that stench though

Review 5：The location is wonderful, the view from the room at waterfront and the view from the restaurant. Perfect. E-bikes for rent. Boat for rent. Great food.

Review 6：The family suite looked old, and in need of a face lift. For a suite that size, you would expect it to have a good sized bathroom - but no, the bathroom is quite small. The carpets look old and tired. There is a small kitchenette with stoves - but no cutlery or cookware whatsoever! A little more finesse and a slight renovation would go a long way !

Review 11：Excellent choice. Good out-of-season rates in a beautiful setting. Parking & WiFi is as advertised. Professional front-of-house & welcoming staff. My room was large, modern & well maintained. The included buffet breakfast was excellent. There is a sauna for a small hourly fee. Special mention goes to the free indoor swimming pool; just long enough to do lengths but do not miss the 'whirlpool' button on the central column. It will make you feel like a kid again.. for 10mins. I'd happily stay here again, multi-day, for business or pleasure.

Review 40：We have visited this hotel several times and it always meets our expectations so your question "how did Galamadammen meet your expectations" is not relevant. we expected the hotel to be superb and it was - it did not exceed this, hence this fantastic hotel could only score 5 in this question which is not a true indication of our satisfaction. The question "which words best describes Galamadammen Hotel Yachthavens" is again poorly thought out. In a country famous for its watersports and the word "Yachthaven" in the name I would have expected watersports to be a category. Excellent hotel, poor survey!
