Review 1：Accommodation in Norway is expensive - that's a fact. In Bodo, itseems to be extra expensive, and Skagen was not good value for money.Waste water from adjoining rooms could be heard throughout the night inmy bathroom, couldn't turn central heating off, paper cups and nomilk with coffee service, and a limited breakfast made me wonder about3-star rating. Also, if you have an inconsiderate neighbour who walksaround on the wooden floors of his room at 3:40am with his shoes on, youand all others on your floor will be woken - sounded like a horse inthere! Pretty disappointed and would advise considering elsewhere, formuch the same price as Skagen.
Review 2：The room I stayed in was of a good size and was fairly nicely appointed.The hotel is also a 10-minute walk from the airport (although so is muchof the accommodation in little Bodo).
Review 3：Staff couldn't have been more helpful, made us feel well cared for. Only problem was the heat in one of the rooms, but this probably due to the unseasonably and unexpected hot weather.
Review 4：I had a great time here. I stayed two nights and worked (in my room) during the second day. Some other guests left a barking dog in their room and the staff provided me with another place to work till the guests with the dog returned. Awesome staff! Good location.
Review 5：We asked for a free parking (and in the booking it says the guest WILL have a free parking) but upon arrival we were told they don't always have enough for all the guests. Fortunately we arrived late and were leaving early morning so that paid parking was unnecessary. Unfortunately the buildings are getting old and you could tell from the walls, ceilings, doors, windows, etc..
Review 6：Breakfast and small dinner. We weren't expecting a supper service (up to 10pm!) so this was a great surprise. Breakfast was also ready from as early as 5am, so we could take a quick bite before heading to the ferry port. The suit room was spacious, comfortable and homely.
Review 7：Our bathroom was a bit worn/old (shower curtain). Carpet floors in the rooms (clean, but still - only British people still have this).
Review 8：After arrival, I read in the hotel brochure that an evening meal was served from 7pm. I phoned the reception to ask what it would cost, and they told us it was included in the price! Great and varied food (breakfast chef cooked nice omlettes), free waffles in the "library" in the evening.

Review 12：Hotel offers free waffles and fruit, coffee and juice in the evening which is a nice touch. The room in which this was served had great design with gas flame heaters behind glass screens. Always appreciate it when a hotel tries to offer something special. Breakfast was good. Room had kettle and tea making facilities.
Review 13：The bathroom vent's fan is noisy and you can't stop it. Staff should grease or replace this fan, or connect it to the light, so it turns off when bathroom is empty.

Review 42：Room was small. Shower was simply part of the bathroom with only a shower curtain to separate. Water went everywhere in the bathroom. They actually left a squeegee to use on the floor. Finishes in hotel were definitely showing their age and use. It said "est. 1989" so I'm assuming that the Decor and finishes date from then also. Staff was minimally friendly but totally unengaging. I always had the impression that I should not be bothering them. Decor was dated. Curtains did not cut a lot of light out...problem with midnight sun. The meats at breakfast were greasy and low quality. I don't understand why this hotel has an 8+ rating. While clean and perfectly acceptable, it was no where near the caliber of a typical "fabulous" rated establishment. It was maybe a bit better than a "Formule 1" inside the room. Booking.com should really see what is behind this over-rating.
Review 43：They welcomed my small dog without any supplement. WiFi signal was excellent. Breakfast was served until 11am on Sunday. Bed very comfortable. Staff suggested I remove mini bar items to make room for my own so iti was nice to have a refrigerator.
