Review 1：Just that the bar didnt have a blender and only one mirror in the room
Review 2：The location and the excellent staff you could reply on for any information on places to visit or eat out
Review 3：No shower curtain or toiletries. WiFi was very bad. Exterior needs work. We liked the pool but there was no poolside bar operating. Our room facing the town was very noisy from loud music every night.
Review 4：The staff was great -- especially Sonia, Geoffrey and the other bartender, the chefs, and the driver Sing. Also the breakfast every morning was very good. And we liked the lounge area.
Review 5：The rooms all had a fridge,ac & tv. After asking for a hair blower I immediately got one. Even though everyone was very helpful, the hotel needs a makeover. In the first room we had there was no water pressure, so taking a shower was not possible, also the ac had a technical defect-but the helpful staff let us change the room. All in all it is ok, but it's not as clean as europes (Germans) like. There were some insects in the rooms who came out of everywhere, I found stuff from the guest before-but in the end this is Jamaica and if you want to have it 100%clean you need to book a five star all inclusive hotel. In the end this hotel is value for money.
Review 6：Menu of food leaves something to be desired. Asked front desk for a taxi and was taken by a worker there in a car that should be sent to the scrap yard. He did not have a taxi license. Just a worker there trying to make extra money

Review 8：The room was comfortable but the problem i had was that i could hear the guests in the room above us moving around.. Woke up 3am an now i could hear them having intercourse.. When i was booking the hotel thru booking.com the details said all guest gets a free sky explorer pass to mystic ridge but when we wanted to go the receptionist said we could get the pass at a discounted price 30usd but we didn't c that as a discount becaz as Jamaicans we would pay 2900 jmd.. So I asked what about the details I read on booking she said we had to have stayed up to 3 nights so get it but that was not stated in the details.. We ended up going to dunns river falls
Review 9：My son really loved the pool its a sure 10/10 for the pool becaz it was very clean.. Our room was spacious n comfortable when we stepped out on the balcony we heard the water fall from the ruins Breakfast was served early in the morning so we ate and went right bk to the pool.. The high light of staying at the hotel was that a bunch of reggae artist was staying there as well and we got to meet tarus riley and he took pics with us
Review 10：We had an all inclusive package. Everytime we went to the bar or restaurant they asked us to pay. The Lunch and Dinner was poor. The food was reheated food. It was not fresh.

Review 22：The pool area has hardly any shade - not good or Europeans. Only 13 sun loungers and only possible for three or four to be in shade. On arrival, I was told that the safe in my room needed as new battery but this never happened. My room did not have any clothes hangers - and none appeared. We were told that there was a free bus to the beach but once at the beach the driver said he could not take us to the beach as it was a public holiday and charged us $20 to take us a few hundred yards to a shop - very bad. Quality of food disappointing for Jamaica. Not cheap.

Review 24：July 8,2015 was my 3rd time at Mystic Resort. And every time I go there I have to change room. The first 2 times the face basin flooded the room and the air conditioner was leaking. This time I was stupid enought to go back there. When I made my reservation I specifically asked for a nonsmoking room on the H building with a King size bed and no ground floor. When I got there they sent me to a building around the back where the security guards sit at nights having their loud conversations on their phone.They told me they didn't see where I made any of these requests.I am 100% sure.They gave my husband and I a ground floor room with separate beds. The guy who took us to the room had to push the beds together. The toilet seat was broken and there were ants on the bed and where the TV were.I told one of the ladies at the front desk.They told us they would move us to the H building first thing in the morning.We had to call in the morning when we saw nothing happening. My husband had to go to the office. They said by noon. We went out and came back about 1pm we still didn't get our room. I guess they took care of it later because we couldn't wait any longer. We had things to do so we left. When we got the new room which was better. We asked for a do not disturb sign. They took all day to give us the us. They said they had to wait until someone came to work with the key. We paid almost $600 for 4 nights and this is how they treat us. I will never go back to this place.

Review 26：The room keys do not work!!! we stayed 1 night and booked one 2-bedroom. There was no hot water in the 2 bedroom so we got 2 rooms instead and we were locked out of both rooms at least 2 times during our stay!!!!

Review 28：The cleaning of the rooms was poor, I stayed in a one bedroom.... There was no blender, paper towels, dish towel insufficient pits to cook anything but breakfast which is included in your rooms hey only provided 1 towel Per person. No complimentary shampoo, conditioner, the shower was like warm & even thought it was a rain shower head ur was more like a sprinkle. The wifi worked 10% of the time so I had to go to the lobby to conduct business!
Review 29：The staff was awesome! The inside restaurant, bar, swimming pool were awesome. The grounds are nice and it is conviently located in the heart of Ocho Rios.. Close to Mystic Mountain, Dolphin Cove, the center of town & more!
Review 30：The first room I was given was way at the back of the property which felt very isolated and the key card for the front door didn't work well. Also there was no curtain on the bathroom window which led directly outside on the first level. After telling staff that I would like to be switched to another room, they said I could change rooms the next day. Should have been right away as the resort was relatively empty. Would have given a better review if it had been switched right away.
Review 31：The grounds were beautiful, full of flowers and different palms with a nice view of the ocean and turtle beach from on the hill. Staff was pleasant and accommodating. The buffet breakfast was great and the staff at the Aquaview restaurant were very nice.
Review 32：Front desk attendant and breakfast order was incomplete. Did not allow first guest who arrived earlier to registered because booking was in other guest's name. First guest had all the booking information plus room had already been paid for with credit card. Front desk service was slow!

Review 36：The wifi, although "free", was at times slow. There was also a bit of loud music on the Friday night. It may have been coming from the hotel's restaurant and may have been due to it being a Fri nite and a holiday as well. Not sure but that was a bit unnerving as I like QUIET when I'm sleeping.
Review 37：I liked the location of this hotel. I also appreciated how very well the premises is kept up i.e. the grounds were close to immaculate. The rooms were also quite clean and comfy. The complimentary bkfast was also nice (although the cost of the bkfast is most likely included in my nightly rate :-)

Not your typical luxury resort, buildings could use some upgrading but if you plan on spending time in the town outside the property, this is an overall very relaxing and safe place to rest your head at night.
Review 40：The kitchen could have had more utensils like a paring knife for cutting. We did sometimes run out of hot water for showers and the shower in the master bath did not have a curtain.

Review 42：Front desk woman was begrudgingly friendly. She did not return any calls or even ask what room number. The room and dishes were dirty. 1 lamp was non-functional. A night table lamp had no outlet, tiny ants in the kitchen, wifi was in and out my whole stay. Second floor tub had outdated plumbing and created a major leak downstairs into the kitchen through the ceiling. After calling 3 times and waiting over an hour, staff showed up and said it happens all the time... This place could use major attention to detail. It was like they didn't care about the place and that is bad business.

Review 101：We didn't like that we had a broken pipe under the bathroom sink in the first room we were given. because of that the room was flooded. We had to call about 3 or four times before we were moved to another room. I traveled all the way from America and needed a shower and to relax with my man and they took forever. Also, there was no hot water in the second room we got. I didn't report it because we had enough aggravation so we showered in the cold water. That was no fun.

Review 103：Hotel was too busy and unmanageable for the staff and hotel. No food for breakfast buffet, only liver, and cabbage, not much else. Too many people, ran out of ice, machine broke down, no towels from Saturday afternoon until the time we checked out on Sunday morning. Had to use beach towels, however, most of them were used to mop up the water on the floor due to lack of caulking on the taps and shower curtain in the/bath tub. Men working on doors to put a wooden strip on it due to theft in the hotel, too many guests, no parking, no consideration for other guests. Food awful. Stayed there in April 2013 and thought it was quaint. Not impressed this time, had the same Loft Suite, but felt more like an attic. No room, slanted ceilings, not appropriate for my 6'3" boyfriend who kept bumping his head. Also, lack of service. How do you have so many people staying in the hotel and run out of the breakfast buffet, towels and ice????? Will never stay at this property again. Needs some serious work. Not to mention the price was jacked up for the holidays, but not the level of service. Would definitely not recommend
