Reviews for Residence Cà Beregana

Review 1:The room was quite small and the shower not easy to use. There were bikes for use but they were not in great condition and the breaks didn't work very well. It was hard to find a restaurant open for lunch near by.

Review 2:The location was lovely. There was lots to choose from for breakfast. They were very helpful.

Review 3:The eight of us generally have high expectations for comfort, cleanliness, attentiveness and convenience. Residence Cà Beregana exceeded our expectations. We stayed in several room types and each room is thoughtfully designed for short or long stays. The property is well maintained, clean and in a charming setting. The daily breakfast was a highlight each morning. Most importantly the owners and staff are very kind and helpful. We look forward to a return visit.

Review 4:i cannot invent...

Review 5:very clean house and room, very good breakfast, nice room and very comfortable, nice view, swimming pool, place to other activities, very good place to visit other cities (Verona, Padova, Venezia)

Review 6:Kind hosts, nice pool, beautifull rooms, good breakfast. Moreover a perfect location to visit cities like Venice (by train), Padua, Verona and Vicenza.

Review 7:Overall impression that guests are seen as cash cows only. Access to swimming pool is limited (9.30am to 7pm). Bedlinen and towels were of bad quality and had a chemical smell. Breakfast consists of a basket full of sweet stuff in the room. Hotel manager was keen to get us out of the room as possible to prepare for the next guest.

Review 8:Good location. Great old building. Unfortunately very poor and low quality furnished.

Review 9:Our young family of four stayed for three nights. The rooms were clean and kitchenette adequately stocked. There was plenty of room to stretch out. The grounds were beautiful and the pool was the highlight for my children. The Residence would be a wonderful place for an event. We will return if given the chance.

Review 10:nothing at all!!

Review 11:Tranquil setting, beautiful estate, facilities excellent, staff friendly and cannot be more helpful, would recommend it to all, but please when we want to go back, please leave some space for us!!!

Review 12:Absolutely no complaints. We would have liked to have spent and extra night here.

Review 13:Enjoyed the Turkish bath. Because of our theatre schedule the owner graciously offered to open the sauna area slightly earlier than usual.

Review 14:The only complaint is wifi. The wifi works excellent, but it requires a login every time, once your device is idle for 15 min. This can be a problem for some if they need to download heavy files, or use push-email. But, this exception is probably a good thing as well, since nobody can't "hog" the network, making the wifi fast all the time.

Review 15:Location is good: It is a 5 min drive to the autostrada. 5 min drive to center of Vicenza. 15 min to shopping center (la piramida). We found this location as a good base for traveling to Vicenza, Verona, Venice and the Veneto area in general. Facility: The Residence is very well taken care of. Lots of room for private parking. The apartment itself is new. Everything is new and fresh. Has a kitchen and dining table. Has everything such as pots and pans. There is an auchan nearby. We bought wine, cheese and fresh cut meat there. We enjoyed this for dinner and breakfast. Since this is a residence, there is no cooked breakfast. Cookies and such, coffee, water are always provided in the room free of charge (everyday). Has a safe, big closet, nice bathroom. The owner is wonderful and provides any service or help you require. Plus she speaks very good english In General, this was our 5th and final hotel during our 10 day trip through italy. We choose this because we wanted private onsite (free) parking. quick access to the the major roads. and most importantly a place to relax (compared to the previous hotels which where in the busy city centers). The room has everything you need for a relaxing stay. and the kitchen provides you an opportunity to have dinner or breakfast in room, if choose to do so. We enjoyed this location very much. Probably nicer than our current apartment :-)

Review 16:The location is terrific. Close enough to travel downtown in a matter of minutes, with a variation of restaurants within walking distance. It's located several hundred meters from a busy road; far enough to enjoy a peaceful stay.

Review 17:nothing to complain about the Ca' Beregana!

Review 18:Wonderful surrounding very kind family! the very italian bicycles that the guests can use to discover the place and city of Vicenza::::::

Review 19:WiFi not always connected. The kitchen equipment: spartan! No kettle, webought one for €10.00 at Auchan. When mentioned to the owner, she saidshe had ordered them. Excuse me? This business did not open yesterday. The hot plate takes forever to warm up-kind of primitive two platestove. No food storage utensils, no toaster, no coffee maker. The packet-ed food, unhealthy sugary stuff! I did not like being disturbed everymorning at 11:30 to have my room cleaned. I'm on vacation and not aschedule!!I did not appreciate being disturbed at 21:00 hrs, by the young man frolicking on the lawnmower!!!!! Ca Beregana is a very beautiful building, but it lacks warmth. The Lobby is huge, but has only 1 plastic wicker garden couch and two chairs. There are no plants, no colour, just plain bland and lifeless!! There are no ceiling fans out on communal terrace.

Review 20:The spacious bedroom with kitchenette and bathroom. The room wasserviced each day and fresh towels provided each day! On the wholeeverything was super clean. Free and plentiful parking space. Vicenzacenter is under 10 minutes away, with plenty parking possibilities andgreat Restaurants, shopping and ofcourse the Palladiums.

Review 21:We really enjoyed our one week stay at Cà Beregana. Very helpfull and pleasant people. The rooms and facilities were very clean. Lovely property not far from the centre of the charming city of Vicenza. Bikes available at the residence ! We would certainly recommend this place !

Review 22:The pool closes by 7:30 pm

Review 23:The family lives at the residence. They are helpful and warm. Each day the maids restock the room with water, juice, and some Italian breakfast sweets. The internet is reliable and fast enough to watch Hulu. You are a 5 minute drive to the downtown parking lot. Locking gate at night adds feeling of security for parking. There are also not many rooms, so it doesn't feel crowded.

Review 24:The internet was extremely annoying. It timed out constantly and it was necessary to sign back in repetitively The rooms are on top of a banquet hall, which can be somewhat noisy when there are events being held in the hall

Review 25:Nice old manor house Friendly and helpful staff The hotel provides free bikes, which is great as downtown Vicenza is only about a 10 minute ride away

Review 26:Super friendly people at a nice and quiet hotel with easy access to the city center

Review 27:The many signs with the house rules did bother me a bit.

Review 28:Nice, quiet location with very friendly staff.

Review 29:Great atmosphere

Review 30:Very nice old building with a lot of style. Good swimming pool and big garden, a real restpoint close to the city.

Review 31:No bad experience

Review 32:Beautiful property to stay, lovely grounds, nice and convenient pool, friendliness of the family and staff.

Review 33:Loved the room, the grounds, and nice staff. Good location to take day trips.

Review 42:friendly and helpful staff. Rommwith fantastic view. Outdoor swimmimg pool.

Review 43:wish they offered real breakfast

Review 44:very well maintained, romantic

Review 45:Everything.

Review 46:Needed dedicated work desk in room

Review 47:Security Gate, privacy, and kitchen area

Review 48:Very good value for the money

Review 49:very friendly and helpful owners in a beautiful historical building, just about 3 km from the center of vicenza

Review 50:No breakfast room, breakfast left in plastic packages on table, no milk for make-your-own coffee; reception aloof and unhelpful; no restaurants or grocery stores nearby ; wifi not predictable

Review 51:Good Shower system; secure bike storage ; roomy

Review 52:No lift and little help, uninformed and vanishing reception staff, well out of city and not in hills

Review 53:Beautiful bathrooms excellent beds and room design

Review 54:staff really very helpful and welcoming, to the point that they even offered to drive us early one evening to a nearby location for free in order to assist us with our appointment.

Review 55:This Residence is a great value for money with spacious rooms equiped with small kitchen corner and offers almost unlimited parking place which is free of charge. The city center is a little bit too far, but this is not an issue if you travel with own car.

Review 56:There are no bar facilities should u feel like a quick drink and breakfast is a few packaged dry goods in the room. However, there is a kitchenette with a fridge if you wd want to cook.

Review 57:We thought the palazzo was a great place to stay...within easy reach of the city centre by car but gives you the feeling of a country house. The front of house are extremely friendly and helpful and the room is stylish and comfortable with a great shower!

Review 58:Rooms: some of the roomns bathrooms are not very new and looks notclean. Some rooms has new bathrooms and clean. Rooms are perfect, exceptfkae wood flooring does not give luxury feeleing, when you have 5hundred years old wooden beams above your head, and quitte good qualityrococo furnitures (golden guilded and hand crafted (?) and painted).Breakfast: the weakest part of all. We asked capuchino for a breakfastand thay were able to offer only americano... Well, in Italy americano? Also they do not serve hot breakfast, so no omplet, scrable, just boiledcold eggs. Well, if you are lucky, you might get warm croissant andbread, so wake up early! Tea also was very poor (Lipton). But when youare sitting in a muesum class hall, filled with rococo stucco works, paintings, murano chandalliers and looking trhough the piano and Gothicwindows to the piazza and happully running school childrens and seniorlocal senoras sitting on the bench... You forget the food and the theatmospheare you bserving become your food. Just I would like to recomendfor the stuff improve brakfast and to be more italians (venetians). Andwell, the district where is a hotel located is a born place of vivaldi -the greatest venetian composer of all the time. He was born just ahundred meater form the place you are staying and museum is near by.When I was in the hall, surrounded of rococo interior I almost heardvivaldi's strings around me. Why not play Vivaldi during thebreakfast and very calmly in the evening? That would be amaizing andbreathaking experiance for everybody! And the lat recomendation: putsome french flowers and the piano, so many murano glass vases in thehall and all of them were empty. Rezume: no amerikcano, hot breakfast, fresh flowers in murano vases, music and some fragrant candles in thehall, some bathrooms need renovation.

Review 59:Location: very good, near San Marco ant canal. But the best is localsliving around. Especially in the evening you can met them with dogseating ice cram and chatting around. The piazza infront of the hotel isa live all day. Please dont go to the bar in the piazza - they have verybad food and cheatting tourists! It is a trap! I was booked a room witha view to piazza, but got only a corner of it. Ofcourse I asked for afull view, and in the end of the stay (last night of the three) I godthe full view. Was happy about it.

Review 60:Nothing really.

Review 61:Spacious and well equipped room with a beautiful view. Excellent parking and genuine 10 minute drive into Vicenza where we parked in large car park adjacent to the railway station from where we were able to walk easily into the old town.

Review 62:The sofa-bed was quite creaky and if anyone using it got up in the night, it woke the rest up as well.

Review 63:Semi-rural location, just far enough away from the town, but not too far. Very peaceful . Villa complex is unique and very characterful, being a converted historic building. Lovely clean outdoor pool. Lots of hassle free parking. Our family suite was large and well fitted out.

Review 64:I liked everything in this hotel. location, near to the city yet in beautiful surrondings. the owners, the maintenance, the set up. a great choice in Vicenza.

Review 65:The airconditioning is noisy. There is no elevator. The wifi was onlyavailable in the kitchenette.

Review 66:The surroundings of the hotel are fantastic and the hotel itself looksbeautiful. We booked a room without kitchenette (cheaper) but I thinkall rooms have a kitchenette, we got one anyway. The air conditioner isnoisy. The ceiling of the room is high and the room is spacious andbeautiful. The bed is great. Design of bathroom is nice. Water stream ofthe shower is so hard that the shower can't stay in it's place. The view is astounding! We had a very nice stay here!

Review 67:We didnt see a swimming pool...it was fenced off but we could here children using it.

Review 68:Clean modern room with beautiful en-suite of a very high standard.Free bicycles to ride into city centre.

Review 69:They don´t have a restaurant in the hotel and do not offer breakfast, but you can cook coffee/tee in the room and have some cookiesfree of charge

Review 70:Very nice hotel - very close to the city center but still in the nature

Review 71:Room was huge so the heater had to work a long time before you could feel a difference. Bedcover smelled bad and there was no blanket. Bed was shaped like an elephants back, so you almost rolled off it.. Some dead bugs on the floor. No breakfast (wasnt an issue).

Review 72:Very spacious apartment with large bathroom. Quiet. Free parking. Good restaurants nearby.

Review 73:Location, room equipment, service.

Review 74:Had some trouble finding it.

Review 75:Lovely house and grounds and friendly staff.

Review 76:Serenella our host made us feel very welcome. She offered us free use of a range of bicycles, and provided free breakfast.
