Review 4：We booked a superior room. It had outside space but as it was located on the path between the pool and the main building there was little privacy. Room décor was good but the antique furniture was far too big for the size of the room. The bathroom was small and the shower was a tight fit! Waiting staff were disorganised and often unhelpful.

Review 5：The hotel's location was very good. Reception staff were efficient and friendly. Lovely pool. Nice gardens. On-site massage. A good selection of breakfast items.

Review 6：At our arrival, they proposed us a mansard room completely different from the pictures of our booking and never appeared in booking.com. Furthermore, Wi-Fi was not available in our room and air conditioned system was not very good. Finally, it seems an excellent 3 stars or a bad 4 stars.

Review 8：We stayed here for one week in July and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel is very comfortable, the staff very helpful and friendly and the food very good. An ideal place to stay if you are travelling in this part of Italy.

Review 9：We stayed in Due Mari for 8 nights; a charming hotel. The personnel is great and you feel really welcome. We had a wonderful seaview from our room. The location of the hotel is perfect with a small beach nearby and several bigger beaches on walking distance. Great hotel breakfast.

Review 10：Breakfast was typically Italian, which isn't that great. The rooms are small, and the shower is for midgets. Never been into a smaller shower.

Review 12：We chose this hotel because it said it has a gym. The equipment was poor and dated and the gym was only open limited hours with no flexibility from the hotel staff. The wifi constantly dropped out. We had a suite which was advertised as having a balcony but there was no balcony. There was only one small window so the room was very dark and depressing. Very Fawlty Towers and tired and dated. Stay somewhere else!

Review 14：Something is terribly wrong with the breakfast logistics. It took us appr. 20 minutes to get our coffee and tea every morning, and same applied for getting the menu when eating at their restaurant.

Breakfast in the garden was good, though the choice repeated every morning. Terrace on the top floor with breathtaking view over Sestri Levante.

Hotel Due Mari is at an amazing location. The view from terrace is breathtaking. Silence Bay and other private beaches are 2 min. walking distance. Very close to great restaurants! Nice breakfast, yummy croissants!

Review 28：Restaurant was not good, we had one lunch there and were disappointed. The inside swimming pool is closed in the summer. On the whole, the hotel is nice and comfortable but in my opinion extremely overpriced.

The food was exquisite(breakfasts included) and the service was amazing -- Mario and Carolinaat the front desk could not have been more helpful to us during ourstay. Since the tourist office was closed during our stay, we found thestaff at the hotel to be very helpful to us in our desire to see CinqueTerre. We were advised to ask for rooms 31 or 32 as they provided a viewof the beach and the hotel was happy to accommodate our request.

Review 79：It was really a great hotel. At the most beautiful side of Sestri, nearby everything. Clean chamber, very friendly staff, beautiful inside with everywhere seats to read (the chamber is not a chamber to stay during the day). Sitting somewhere in the garden there is no need to buy drinks etc. You can decide it yourself. Very good breakfast.

Review 80：The room on the top floor (the poets floor) where we stayed to get a view is cramped because of the dormers, especially the bathroom. The spa is also small and in the lowest level with no natural daylight.

Our room had 2 small balconies, one overlooking the sea and the other the bell tower. The breakfast was good, with delicious apricot croissants (plus more).

The room, and especially bathroom, would meritfrom better, more thorough cleaning. The hotel does not have its ownbeach. There is a public beach 1 min walk from the hotel but you cannotrent sunbeds and ambrellas there, and it was so noisy ...So if you wantto use a private beach with sun beds and ambrellas, you will need towalk from 5 to 10 minutes depending on a beach, and this will cost youadditional €15/day for two people. This was the most expensive hotel westayed during our two-weeks holiday in Liguria. €180/Night for a 3 starhotel with the facilities I descibed above, I think, is too much...

This hotel cannot be faulted except for the apparent disinterest of the owners. This said, I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel.
