Review 1：We loved everything about this windmill. Guadelupe and Laurent were perfect hosts who have obviously thought of everything. The view was amazing! The bed was very comfortable, and we loved the underground bathroom. We will stay here again when we return to Portugal!

Review 2：The location is overlooking the Sado river estuary, across from the Troia resort. The owners are very kind and helpful, without being intrusive. I would say you need a car. Setubal is a 5 minutes drive down the hill and has a good supermarket and a good selection of restaurants. Lisbon is roughly a 45-60 minutes drive, up the A2 or A12 motorway [depending on where in Lisbon you want to go to].

Review 3：The owner Guadalupe was wonderful! She was friendly helpful and made us feel very much at home. We stayed in the old mill house which was fabulous.It was so beautifully decorated clean and comfortable! We would love to go back and would highly recommend it to other lucky travellers!We had a lovely breakfast supplied by the owners sitting in the sun overlooking the water!!

Review 4：Very calm, great view from the hill to the ocean. Carefully renovated, historic place. Very friendly and caring hosts. The apartment is very well equipped. A wonderful place to stay and relax!!!

Review 5：The view was spectacular both day and night. After seeing the photos we were expected something good but on arrival stepping inside to the warm, super cosy and beautifully converted windmill was even better than imagined. The bedroom is stunning and we had the best sleep in a long time. Lots of thoughtful touches such as some games and CDs, dressing gowns and maps of the area. Guadalupe welcomed us very warmly, had lots of tips about places to visit or eat. Overall a fantastic weekend retreat.

Review 15：The open kitchen/living room and the children's sleeping room (with a high sleeper bed) are divided from each other by light curtains only, so the light and/or conversation in the kitchen/living room could disturb the children a bit as they try to fall asleep. In general this was not a great problem.

Review 16：We stayed in the separate guest apartment connected to the owner's house next to the windmill. The owners are extremely nice and helpful, and they speak many languages. They gave a us a map of the next town (Setubal) and tips where to find things and places we searched for. We liked the breakfast service (fresh bread was left at our door every morning and other things left for us in our fridge), the equipped kitchen, the adult's sleeping room (which was perfectly dark at night), the water basin outside where the children could swim (supervised), the sandpit for children and the large terrace which we could use for dining etc. The view from the apartment is just great. We would definitely like to return to this place!
