Review 1：The place is an old run down dump that looks more like a brothel than a motel.
Review 2：Sorry but we didn't like anything about the place. We actually wanted to leave soon as we got there!
Review 3：This place is original 70s, run down, deacaying but still clean, no air con, just ceiling fans. Owner very pleasant. Don't expect anything much for that price but the cleanliness was spot on.

Review 7：It was old and tatty. No air conditioning. Needed a good spruce up, it would have been better marketed as a back-packer accommodation. Found a cockroach - though on the good side there was just one.

Review 9：Very retro room, and not modern retro, though had the basics - tv, bed, vinyl armchair, towels, soap, but no shampoo nor conditioner. Had to ask for more tea and coffee than the standard 2 of each. No aircon, however had ceiling fan. Be careful when turning off bedside lamps as the metal becomes quite hot.

Review 13：Rooms are dirty, very old and basic. It's the type of place you'd have a figure of a dead body drawn on the floor. Other people staying there continually smoked and argued next to the room put in. One of only a few that had internet coverage due to the location of the router. Never again it's not worth the money.
Review 14：The unit was dirty. Black slime on the shower walls. Coffee stains on the table, dust on the fan and vacuuming left a lot to be desired. The manager stunk of beer. R&M was sub standard. This facility should not be listed with Booking.com.

Review 16：This motel was discusting,. the bathroom/shower was filthly and everything was very run down. It was nothing like the pictures. It does not state online that you have to share the awful kitchen.

Review 18：Dirty,smelly in need of a total renovation and cleaning properly. The carpet smelt musty and the bed was one of the worst we have ever slept on. No heating and no visible fire alarm. Cigarette smoke came into our room and the owner checked our room before we left to make sure we hadn't stolen his rusty kettle or the two coffee mugs and the plastic spoon.

Review 20：The bed was a bit used-could use a good mattress. We didnt get the wifi key when we checked in and kept forgetting to ask so it was useless to have free wifi. Also, it was a bit cold and there was no portable heater available.
Review 21：The manager was very nice-waited for us to check us in late after a brief phone call. Much appreciated. The place was tidy.The kitchen was accommodating. The location was very good-short walk to the beach. The asian restaurant next door was really nice for lunch.
Review 22：did not even stay after paying went to room toilet was blocked,went to complain he turned up with a plunger and no gloves spent ten minutes working unblock the toilet then came into living area dripping water all over the floor and said he needed a bigger plunger needless to say we promptly left and found somewhere else to stay.

Review 33：The location is excellent, across the street from the pub and a block off the beach. It's about a 15 minute drive to downtown Bundaberg or the airport so if you fly you'd be best renting a car from the airport Thrifty. The staff are friendly and for an old property it's relatively clean, or as clean as it's going to get. The price is awesome and makes up for this.
