Review 1：no kettle in appartment; as we trip with a toddler we always need boiled water.
Review 2：The master met us at a midnight and was very hospitable. The apartment isn't big, but clean, with comfortable beds, located in a in a quiet area of Villach. Wi-fi and acoustic insulations are good.
Review 3：No one was on the site when we arrived (along with 3 other groups of guests), so we had to use the phone number provided to call for staff. It was also written, that you can visit staff 300 m from the hotel, but not the direction. Also the fact that owner didn't speak English was not good (it was not a big deal for us, as we spoke some German).
Review 4：For Villach the hotel was relatively cheap, but rooms were very nice. Breakfast was also very nice (and one of the few places, that you can get good coffee).
Review 5：All pictures you see (3!) when clicking on the single room on booking.com show a double bed. The text says 90-130cm. In reality the single room I got had a 80cm matress. I complained but the lady said all single rooms have single beds and she could not help me. In 3 nights I slept bad (woke up every few hours because I am used to sleeping in bigger beds). I would not have booked the place if I had know about the single beds. This is kinda fraudulent imo. Second, the breakfast was ok even though there was little choice and didnt you know you shouldnt put bananas in the fridge? Anyway, I attempted to make myself a sandwich for later and was seen by the lady in charge. When I ordered coffee later I was asked in a sarcastic way if I wanted it to go as well and then I was lectured that breakfast was not meant to be taken away. Jesus, a sandwich! Maybe if the buffet hadnt been so small, they wouldnt need to be so picky about this. Especially if they already lied about the size of their beds, they shouldnt be so picky with this. Wifi did not work the whole 3 days. The network mentioned either did not exist, had no receiption in the room or people could not connect to it (there was discussion about this with other people in the breakfast room). Since I am an IT guy, I found a workaround after checking the situation but the people involved couldnt help. No toiletries, just soap.
Review 6：Other than the above, the rest was ok. Room was modern, water pressure was great, location is way outside Villach center but good if you want to be near the thermal resorts and the jogging areas there.
Review 7：It was unusually hot in Austria the day we were there. And there was no A/C or fan in the room. However, we were so tired, we fell asleep very quickly.
Review 8：Just stayed here as an overnight on our way to Croatia. Met the need. Clean room. Nice breakfast, and pet friendly. Owners were very nice and accommodating.
Review 9：I arrive the pension during the stated check-in hours but nobody was there. The taxi left and I was alone in the middle of nowhere , in front of the pension with nobody inside! The a car stopped for the cocktail bar at the pension but like me, they couldn't find anyone. Then the woman in the car who can speak English and German, read the "German" sign and called a number. They told me the stuff will come in 5 mins. However, one woman came after 20 mins of waiting. She was so careless and unhelpful. She said wifi has problem ( which was the one of the key reasons for me to select that pension) gave me a usb stick for internet. Then she left me alone in the pension! I was the only one there! And moreover, breakfast was 300 m away, in a different restaurant. I had to carry all my luggage to there. I could not understand how this pension got 8.6 from reviews.
