Review 2：Proximity to San Gimignano was great. The hotel was modern and well maintained, the staff was very kind and helpful and the food at the restaurant was excellent. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will surely return if and when the opportunity arises.

Very kind family and staff, there was also service at the pool. The pool was clean and they have a towel service. The restaurant was perfect. Good local food and wine and enough choice. Much better than expected from the pictures. Parking spaces 1 and 2 in San Gimignano were good and not to expensive .

Review 13：The beds were harder than we like, the hair dryer didn't work (I should have mentioned to the desk but I didn't so likely they could have fixed it) and I would have preferred a bath tub. BUT these are minor issues. The cost for the room was very reasonable and it made the town easy to access.

Review 14：Hotel was not in the walled city of San Gimingnano so we didn't have to worry about crazy parking there was an easy lot at the hotel. It was inexpensive and clean and wifi was easy to access. We were literally there for 1 night. There was nothing particularly special about the hotel, but it was clean and efficient. We would stay again.

Review 22：The amount of people who smoke during dinner. I know we were sitting outside but it was terrible when guests at tables near by would start to smoke whilst we were still eating. I know the hotel can't control this, but it is just that being from Australia you are not allowed to smoke in many outdoor resaturants, so we are not used to it

Review 74：Room was not very clean, killed some bugs, cleared some spider webs +spider on entry.They have all those rules when AC is on or not, in our case heating only was open from night, and it was kinda hot so only way to get some air is to open the window and get cigarettes smoke and more bugs in. Didn't like the bad sheets fabric. They charge too much for a 3 star hotel.

Review 77：Nothing really, however the fruit at breakfast is tinned fruit and the coffee is from a dispenser. It was ok, but honestly after a 5 night stay we were wishing for fresh fruit and freshly brewed coffee. However, it was a minor issue - we just bought a good coffee each day as soon as we could.

Review 78：This hotel is an excellent base for a driving holiday in Tuscany. Because it is just out of town (maybe 2 kms) it means you don't have to deal with the chaotic bus/ car parking / tourist group mess that occurs at every entrance to San Gimignano. The hotel has a large, pleasant car park. The hotel is located on a road out of town which you take for most of the tourist drives. There is a large swimming pool as well, and the hotel has a restaurant. It is a decent walk into town, so if you want to eat in town you would need to consider a taxi which costs 15 euros each way, factor that cost into your visit. The hotel restaurant has very good food, however if you are staying for a while you will probably want to eat in town for a change. There is also a decent European breakfast with different cheeses featured each day. There were lots of sweet pasties featured as well. The rooms are very good, most seem to have balconies or patios. When we arrived at our room there was a bottle of wine with a nice message for us.

Review 87：Great meal in the hotel restaurant. Honestly the best pasta I have ever had. The staff where lovely. Unfortunately the weather was wet but the pool area is massive and beautifully kept. Quiet night sleep.

Review 88：Rooms on south side are about 125 yards from a local road. You might hear some vehicle noise on occasion. Note that all rooms have double pane windows and are completely sound proof. This vehicle noise comment would only apply when you sit on your balcony. Some may consider this a non issue.

Review 89：Very clean and very well maintained hotel with free parking. Hotel owner was onsite every day overseeing operations and working himself. Excellent breakfast buffet: several different kinds of pastries, six different kinds of ham/salami, fresh fruit, juice, cereals, etc, etc. And a coffee machine that makes fourteen (yes, 14) different kinds of coffee, all good. Hotel is located about one mile before you arrive at San Gimignano, so you don't have the tourist crush around you. Yes, you should drive your car to San G if you plan to eat inside the city. You can walk to San G on a safe private road but plan on 20-30 minutes mostly up hill. But it is downhill on the way back! Note that hotel also has a restaurant that serves very good food. Free WiFi works very well. Staff is very helpful and efficient.

Easy parking in San Gimignano for 2 euro an hour.Hotel restaurant next door was not cheap but the food was delicious.Staff very friendly, especially Agnes who will make eggs for breakfastany way you want. She was very helpful making suggestions on what to seein the area. We had a quiet simple room with a patio that opened up to alarge pool, plenty of toiletries and good towels. A complimentary bottleof wine and welcome note greeted us in our room making us feel mostwelcome upon our arrival.

Review 100：We had a tremendous 4 day relaxing stay at this hotel as part of adriving tour of Italy. All the staff are very friendly and helpful, theroom was spotless and a good size with balcony overlooking an olivegrove. The pool is a good size with plenty of sun loungers available ona good size terrace, hence no overcrowding. The breakfast had a goodrange of buffet style food, and fresh cooked eggs were available onrequest. The walk to San Gimignano is not difficult and the first viewof the town is stunning. The restaurant is also excellant, with goodfood, good reasonably priced wine and very welcoming and friendly staff.We could not fault our stay and will return. This was the first time wehad been to this part of Italy and it far exceeded our expectations -it's beautiful.

Review 104：An excellent hotel to relax in and to see Sam Giminagno. A little removed from other tourist areas unless willing to drive, for example to Siena. Restaurant was good. Breakfast offered many choices, but the coffee was terrible. You can ask for scrambled eggs if you like, as this isn't offered on the buffet.

Review 108：We chose the Sevestro, 2km from San Gimignano, as we wanted to stay in the country and drive around in Tuscany. It also had free parking for our hired car, a big bonus as parking in/near cities in Italy can cost you a lot. A very good choice. From our balcony we felt like sitting in an olive grove! The gardens are huge with lots of birdlife in the high trees an shrubs. There is a very good restaurant on the premises and it was very handy, as we drove around the country side all day and some evenings we just wanted to stay in. Two swimming pools to choose from helped a lot in the heat. Management at reception was VERY good and helpful, as we had a problem with Italian. The two young ladies were excellent, Laura and Anese.
