Review 1：Luxury appartment looks like usual one, just bigger. Big massage device inside the luxury appartment looks old and dusty.

Review 3：The room we are staying in, one of the towels have a big stain on it when we checked in, very unpleasant to see when we arrive. Most signs are only in Dutch, not available in English, this could cause a bit inconvenience if you are from a non-Dutch speaking country. The breast fast was a bit disappointing, although everything is included in the room fee, still we were hoping for a bit wider selection, but there were only very limited choice of options, very basic stuff, the quality of the fruit is also less than optimal.

Review 4：The hotel has nice hotel and easy, but expensive parking. The swimming pool was really nice, especially the part which is open-air. The steam room and sauna area is mandatory to be naked, which is also very nice and relaxing. The hotel room has a massage chair and a head massager, which is also free to use.

Review 5：Our badtools were 2 times away also my bikini on the first day was away and I know very well at which number I hang it up or where I put it. (This is not the first time that this happens here) We didn't find it back. One staff member in the sauna area was not very kind. Their are a lot of new people in the staff. This time the complex was too full, so many people. They must stop accepting bookings and go for a maximum number of people and then stop. The toiletttes are getting more dirty or must be more cleaned as well as the floors. We come here since 2001 and it was the 17th time. 13 times with room in the hotel, 4 times a hotel in the centrum. Its not anymore what it was before, it lost a lot of his good points. Also many small things like the icetea is not good anymore ... etc I wonder if we come back here ?

Review 6：The restaurant Pure was excellent and kindly staff. Nice diner. At noon we eat "Flamkuchen" that was deliciuos.

Review 17：Probably time for refurbishment. Better use could be made of the available space. The cinema is pointless as the screen resolution is abysmal and no picture can be seen clearly. Could be replaced with shallow relaxation pools, a colour therapy room or maybe the screen should be updated. Saunas are small and a little dated compared with other spa resorts. The clothed/unclothed/partly clothed schedules seem bizarre. Surely nobody wants to keep putting on and taking off wet swimsuits.

Review 21：There is a bit too much of commercial techniques used: ask for your email address to confirm the check-out and then suddenly you receive a promotional email on the next day, book a dinner at the hotel, book a treatment. Also, I did not like the bedroom so much although all standard services are provided. The size of the bed is good and there is a small balcony but there is no view (just trees, which is not so bad) and a lack of air circulation in the bedroom during the night. Anyway, most of the time you will be out, enjoying the spa, so this is not a big problem.

Review 22：I liked the spa and the different kind of saunas (there are 9 different saunas). The staff is friendly, this is not over crowded and the atmosphere is really relaxing. Also, we could enjoy 2 full day in the spa for 1 night in the hotel.

Review 23：Pools are too crowded. And not being able to get drinks and food on loungers is inconvenient as when you go to the terrace you lose your lounger. Not enough staff serving around the pool/terrace area. The staff you have are excellent on all areas including the front desk. The rooms could be a little more luxurious for the price. And the rooms at the bottom are a little depressing on the boonies because they are totally in the shade. Oh the elevators have arthritis ;)

Review 27：Because of the spa, we decided to eat every meal in the restaurants available here. At dinner we had to wait 1 hour to get our food. When I asked why, instead of receiving an apology, I was given an excuse that it was busy. However, everyone that came after us, received their food much earlier. It was obvious that someone had forgotten to send the order to the kitchen. It is a shame because every other time we ate, everyone else was nice and the food was delivered immediately.

Review 35：Well, i've been here quite a while back and i can say that few things though get outdated. We stayed at the -4th level and our balcony does really need a lot of cleaning and the grass needs a lot of tremming. The second level elevator does have its charm but does very slow and if its checking out time of the day, it gets very busy and the elevators are a bit of a hendrance. The shower, most of the time it jumps to very cold or very warm. And the wifi system, you always have to log-in very time your phone turn to lock system, which is very annoying when you have to do like 15 times.

Review 36：The staff is super friendly. Sorrounding is very peacefull. Restaurant is the perfect to dine and breakfast buffet is good. The thermae it else is very clean and net. Very nice experience all in all.

Review 37：There is no proper bar after 18.00. They have a great Cocktail & Tapas Bar with a terrace & fantastic views over the valley but it closes at 18.00 what's that about, not focused on customer facilities. Had to go to the Casino which is a 2 minute walk.

Review 39：While exercising on the grass in the sauna area, I got badly bitten by strange small flies/insects. I had over 20 large infected red spots all over my body. I had to take medicine and see skin doctor on my own after checking out. I have not healed at all even after 5 days from the incident. The hotel was not prepared to handle such medical conditions since skin got worse every time the hotel staff applied some creams on my skin. Another issue, we were notified only on the day of check-in (Sunday) that the outdoor thermal swimming facilities were all scheduled to undergo some routine maintenance and they were to be closed for an indefinite time till the repair is completed. We were able to use the outdoor facilities only the evening of our arrival day and we could not use them for the remaining 5 days.The maintenance and repair was very noisy day and night during the entire stay stay and was still going on as we left on the 6th day and will probably continue for another 10 days till early June. We should have been notified before traveling and the time if reservation and only at the time if check-in.

Review 47：Overall the hotel is overpriced. The premises (both the hotel room and pool area) are very outdated, need renovation. It is very touristic/crowded in the sauna&pool as it can be entered also without hotel booking. The pool area- very cold; could be warmer, considering that people are walking half naked around. Restaurant Pure- the food was not good at all, very disappointing. In the photos it looks much nicer, also it is advertised as "haute cuisine" which it is definitely not. The food was very plain, the products not smartly combined to create a taste sensation. Maybe we were unlucky because we chose a surprise menu. Very thin blankets for winter saison. No nice, basic toiletries (only a general body wash/shampooing liquid) - would expect more from a wellness hotel.

Review 48：The location is very close to Valkenburg, and all the attractions the town can offer. Also there are nice hiking routs around. It is nice to be able to walk to the sauna/pool facilities just in your bathrobe, straight after breakfast if you would wish. The sauna&pool facilities are open from very early morning till late in the evening for the hotel guests, which is very convenient. Also after the check out, you can use the pool/sauna facilities without additional payment, all day long. The breakfast is OK, but don't expect too much. The pool and sauna area is also OK, but same- don't expect too much as everything is quite outdated. Big variety of saunas to choose from, big variety of massages to book.

Review 49：1. The bed was very soft and the thin mattress they put over the two single beds kept moving.. 2. The phone in the room didn't work so we couldn't order room service, we reported this twice and eventually they gave us a small bottle of "champagne". That was nice, but unfortunately one can't use that to make a phone call :-) 3. One room key needed to be reset - not a problem however, you have to walk up a lot of stairs to reception, and of course we couldn't use the phone to ask them to bring a new one...

Review 50：1. The staff were nice and friendly. 2. The dinner in the spa restaurant was good, and reasonably well-priced. 3. The warm swimming pool was nice. 4. Our room had a little terrace. 5. Breakfast was pretty okay. There were a lot of facilities however, the saunas themselves were too small. 6. The sauna "events" were nice, though not frequent enough.

Review 51：It was a bit crowded but sinxe we were staying at the hotel we got to visit the SPA around 9-10:30pm, which was great, not many people even though all the facilities were available. Otherwise we had an amazing stay, would definitely recommend!

Review 56：Instead of a double bed we had 2 single that just wouldn't stay together, make sure to request a proper double. The elevators in the hotel are really outdated and there are a lot stairs in the facility--it can be tiring. There are no clean, dry towels available at the wellness, but you will be given one if you request. The overall price for treatments is too high!

Review 57：The wellness facilities are good and even on a very busy weekend they were comfortable. There is nothing special about the breakfast but the food is good. The treatments offered are all excellent. The room was big and comfortable. This is a great place if you want to go to relax. And don't let the outdated decoration of the hotel restaurant put you off, dinner is really good.

Review 66：Small annoyance. You have to be aware of which days swimsuits are to be worn and where. Usually swimsuits are worn in the pool area but not in the sauna area. Occasionally swimsuits are worn throughout and very occasionally no swimsuits at all. The changing from no swimsuits to swimsuits is annoying to us. So we either go when it is no swimsuits at all or don't bother with the pool area. A sauna in a swimsuit is not very nice.

Review 67：The staff were all helpful and friendly. The facilities were excellent a variety of saunas and a large pool. We have used the spa restaurant in the past which was good, but this time with the good weather we walked into Valkenburg and ate at a restaurant there. The town is close by and interesting. I had a massage which was excellent. The hotel is built into the hill and means you sometimes need to use the lift which runs virtually sideways which is a surprise the first time.

Kids under ten are not welcome in the swimmingpool. I only read rules not facilities and there it said small kids were welcome and free of charge. I suggest the hotel should write they are not welcome. Why pay 220 euros when the cannot use the swimmingpool.

Spa facilities are great, lots of variety and clean. 10+ types of saunas, several pools, lots of fun spa activities like opgieting included in the entrance fee. Rooms have what you need, stayed in room 15 and it had a recent decor update. Food prices reasonable, nice outdoor areas to eat in the summer with pretty views of the rolling hills. Staff were really sweet & helpful! It is easy to get here with public transport, train to Maastricht then bus that stops right outside of Thermae.

A member of the staff came very rudely and asked me to take it off. It was very unpleasant situation. -In general they should give more freedom to users who do not wish to be nude in the sauna areas. -some guest get to 'comfortable' with the possibility of having breakfats with the bathrobe... and forget to put on their swimming clothes... (i had to watch during my breakfats the genitals of the guy next table who did not have his swimming cloths on...!). -the restaurant PURE is a bit too expensive for the food.

Review 125：Walking to the sauna straight from your hotel room is great! The staff in the sauna is very competent. The hotel restaurant 'Pure' is excellent, definitely recommend it, try to reserve and get the table with a view.

Review 126：The room, although spacious, with a nice bed and terrace, was not perfectly clean (especially the carpet and bathroom counter). The bathroom was large but cheaply equipped (products were not quality of a 4 star). The wellness area is under renovation, so it's a bit unfair to criticize, but it's not cozy or easy to get around. It looks like a clinical wellness vs. leisure spa. Also, there is no fitness room!

Review 131：Booking system for treatments is awful. Unless you are already on the spot and there are free slots, they seem unable to provide you with a specific time for your treatment if you book it in advance. They request a wide range availability determined by your expected time of check in and they fix the treatment without informing you on the exact time of it. It resulted impossible to contact them before check-in while on the way to the hotel. There is no phone number in the hotel/thermae page as they just offer option of online contact form, making it difficult to communicate with them in a more immediate way. Very long check in and payment procedure not effective. We had to pay at different time for hotel stay, treatments and last meal at restuarant after queuing three times at the reception. Personnel for maintenance at thermae was walking out of the thermal area then in without wearing adequate overshoes for hygiene. Some of the whirlpools were quite chipped.

Review 133：The breakfast was too busy and not enough people working there - waiting guests were not seated and tables were not cleared. There were not enough plates and they were running out of food. When tables were cleaned they were not cleaned well In the corridor of our room, there were empty glasses and bottles lying around for most of our stay - it did not seem like the staff made sure it was clean. In the room, there should be a better guide to what TV channels there are - you have to click and click and click to go through the whole thing. Bar Delight - a bit limited serving snacks - only certain hours - I really do not want to organize my relaxed day around the specific hours of Bar Delight so I think there should be more choice available. Bar Delight missed Pina Colada on the drinks menu - please add
