He and his family are very hospitable, We had everything we need and of excellent quality. Valters lovely breakfast outside under the trees was a lovely start to every day. We stayed in very hot August weather.. the "silent" air conditioning and double glazing made our room a cool haven to come home to. The bed was beyond comfortable - a fantastic night sleep. Review 5：The property sits high on the hills overlooking Recco and the sea - in a beautiful fairytale setting. The host, Valter, is warm and personable, and prepares breakfast with delicious food grown in the surrounding gardens. Breakfast is served on a beautiful stone table in an incredibly landscaped courtyard with a million dollar view. The location is close to many activities, including hiking, swimming, snorkeling, diving, and of course eating and sightseeing, but the property is so beautiful you may want to skip some activities and soak in the beauty of Casa Balin - a place you will never forget!

Review 7：A beautiful B & B, the room with balcony view to the sea, was so nicely done. Great shower. The road up the hill was narrow and interesting. The walking pathway down the hill to restaurants, should you choose that option was an adventure, but great for exercise. Valter cooked and prepared wonderful breakfasts and made himself available for a chat over coffee and was a wonderful host, doing an excellent job looking after his guests. Memorable.
Review 8：It's not what we didn't like - our GPS didn't like the coordinates, but for some reason, the smart phone saved the day. We should have watched the UTube video.
Review 9：The amenities and attention to detail at Casa Balin are equal to - or exceed those of a 5 star hotel. Pride in ownership is obvious. We loved our room with an amazing view of Recco and the sea. Valter was a wonderful host. Knowing we were Americans, he fixed us scrambled eggs one morning which we enjoyed with lots of wonderful baked goods, fruit and etc. The outdoor patio, with a large trellis was a great spot to unwind and plan our next days adventures (which Volter helped us to plan). Review 11：Gorgeous welcoming B&B, with a homely feel and excellent facilities. My husband and I requested gluten and dairy free options at breakfast, expecting some shop-bought items that we had been given in previous hotels - but instead we were baked delicious gluten free cakes every morning! Highly recommended place to relax.

Review 37：Everything! Fabulous location high on the hill above Recco. Go to the owners web site for accurate location details and a movie on how to get there. Simply could not have been better!
Review 38：The place is a bit difficult to find the first time. You should read the indications on the reservation email to make sure you find it easily. You should also travel with a car: Casa Balin is located in the hills and there are no public transport until there, and it would be quite long to walk the way up (we didn't try though).
Review 39：Casa Balin is a beautiful renovated villa in the hills surrounding Recco, quiet, very comfortable and nicely decorated. Our room had a very beautiful view over Recco and the sea. The owner is very friendly and welcoming, and a very good cooker too! For the breakfast he prepared his own pastries for us. He also shared many advices to visit the region. The location in Recco is indeed perfect to discover the region (Camogli, Cinque Terre, Portofino, Genova, etc). I would definitely recommend this place for your stay in the region!
