La Giara is an Art Nouveau building with large, furnished terrace overlooking the Paradiso Gulf and Mount Portofino. All rooms are air-conditioned and offer free Wi-Fi and views of the sea.
The rooms on the first floor come with wooden or parquet floors. The rooms on the second floor are carpeted. Facilities include a cooling fan, heating, and a kettle.

Review 1：I never understand why in many hotels there is no soap dish in the shower box. An investment of 10 euros would give lot of comfort as your hair gets wet every single time you bend down to pick up the shower gel.
Review 2：Friendly staff, beautiful terrace to relax, simple but tasty breakfast (not only sweets but ham and cheese as well), sea view, parking spot, internet.
Review 3：La Giara is a small, family run hotel. Clean, charming and convenient. Excellent wifi. something could be renovated (carpet in common area, bathroom) but everything is clean and in good working conditions. We had a great stay and I would recommend it.

Review 9：Recco was a beautiful place for our 1st stop. The hotel was older style and very clean. The management could not do enough for us while we were there. Breakfast was very good and I thought the price was excellent and value for money.

Review 12：We liked all but we must say that if you don't have a car reaching out for places (shops, supermarkets, restaurants, bars, etc...) around the area maybe a bit hard. - Toilet was a bit small. But compensated with a quite comfy and large sea-view room.
Review 13：The hotel is located just on the side of the famous Via Aurelia SS1 Road, with a comfy free-parking for the guests. A great sea view is expecting you. It's wonderful to wake up in the morning and look outside the window to find out that (with a sunny day) a shining sea is kissing your eyes. Staff was very nice and helpful, suggesting us a restaurant just 1 km away from the hotel. Breakfast was nice.
Review 14：It is a very nice, small and clean hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful. You can ask them whatever you need. Although they give good tips about travelling through the countryside o to near cities.
Review 15：If you're traveling by train, you should find out beforehand how to get to the hotel from the station on foot (access is a bit confusing at first). Trains go by sometimes during the night.
Review 16：Felt very comfortable at this hotel, marvellous location with view of the ocean and close to a very nice little rock beach. Slightly out of the town center but a short pleasant walk on a street overlooking the sea.

Review 20：Our only complaint is the air conditioner wouldn't turn on. Maybe they hadn't finished wiring it; it did look very new. The train tracks track may be close, but with the windows closed, we didn't hear it at all.

Recco is a beautiful and calm place, the road from hotel to the center of Recco lays along the sea coast.The hotel has a terrace with flowers where you can rest. Very tasty cakes for breakfast. The owners and all staff are very friendly and responsive.
