Review 1：Turkish bath was out of order. Swimming pool water was too cold. One needs to book the sauna in advance. Cleanliness and global state of the spa area is not quite fully satisfying.

Review 2：Marvelous view on the golf with ducks in a pond in front of the bedroom balcony. Fabulous comfort of the bed and room. Breakfast was good. Excellent value for money in a location near Lisbon.

Review 3：There was a buffet style evening meal @€25 per head, which included one small glass of wine. The food was poor and it was not good value. The pool area was dirty and probably a hazard to health. The whole of the hotel side was 'tired'.

Review 5：The hotel is ten minute drive from Setubal and if one night you plan to drink in the city you need a taxi to come back.

Review 6：I highly recommend this hotel to all those who have a car and want to explore the area around Setubal and Alcacer do Sal (parking is free). The room was big and with a great view over the golf court with trees and lakes. Staff is professional and helpful and the hotel itself is extremely clean.

Review 7：The hotel is not clear indicated , you may have a good GPS to find it. Avoid the go there by night as the way to access is narrow. We have booked a night for 2+inf, and we find lot og guests by night ... 'the mosquito'. I have had to fight till late by night to avoid being pok. Unfortunetly I found my lillte baby and my wife decoreted with well trained Mosquito to hide and run. The equipement : a joke ? Everything was out of order, including the piscine which swimming is like being a poluted Ducks in the ponds at Khulna, Bangladesh. The Noise : the rooms are noisy, as some of them equiped with kitchen, ... the ventilation was like an F16 over you head. I have requested the hotel guy to stop it. The breakfast : Please bring with you something to eat also the coffee. It's horrible to describe that the coffee is undrinkable . It's was based on low cost chimical coffee , and i'm sure of that. If you would like to be transformed to zombie, you can eat there for 3 nights , the trasformation is free of charge. i have traveled a lot over the world , from cheap hostels and hotels in Morocco, spain, Portugal,..This one is second worst at all as experience. I will also request a refund, ... for info : it's not at all a 4*. Or they have corrupted the certification.

Review 9：'Best quality' steak was so tough as to make it almost inedible. Recommended visitors stick to fish which in this area is excellent.

Review 10：Good golf greens set in an undulating course but not too hilly. Standard of accommodation excellent. Lunches good. Evening meals a little disappointing and limited range of wines expensive compared with local restaurants.

Review 11：We arrived late from our flight and went straight to restaurant. Our waitress was really friendly and served us promptly. Food was nice and wine lovely after long journey! Rooms large and blackout curtains very effective. Quite hot in rooms but air con soon sorted that out. Bed very comfortable and bathroom good size. Hotel is in need of a few touch ups where walls have cracked and paint/ plaster damaged but everything else appears well maintained. Played the golf course in the morning and had forgotten just how lovely it is (stayed and played 2 years ago), we were a group of 3 with handicap from 4 to 24, male and female, young and old and suited all of us. Stopped half way at the bar for a cooling drink which was a nice luxury as course not busy. Really useful overnight stay as close to Lisbon airport before going on for a week in Sesimbra. Will be back

Review 12：It's not possible to leave the Hotel earlier. You have to pay the whole booked time. Good Hotels try to keep buissness people. Here they don't need them.

Review 14：Great place to relax, nice staff. Restaurant very good (loved the morcela risotto) Bedroom big, good bed, bathroom big, air conditioner good. Surrounding area very pleasant. Swimming pool and jacuzzi regular. You need a car to move around the region. We didn't try the Golf but the field looks good!

Review 17：The restaurant and bar were very disappointing. It was not very clean and inviting. Breakfast was basic, a cobweb was hanging over the hot buffet for the whole week we were there. Hotel is very isolated so not much alternative for eating out. Walls and ceilings not well insulated against noise.

Review 23：Dirty walls and estate general ran down. Spa and pool and gym: small and in poor state. Remember insect repellent when playing golf here. Extras expensive, as they try to make up. Fridge with two small bottles of water: thought it was courtesy, but charges from "minibar" no sign of prices or stating "Minibar". Euro 2 each for these small15 Cent bottles. A one ltr bottle of plain water € 2.80. High Voltage cables run alongside hotel and over Drive range, this AC field, affect some people.

Review 69：The Staff were very helpful, repectful and pleasant. The Golf Course wasexcellent especially the Greens. The Dinner was good but not outstandingthe Waiter was very good. Breakfast was substantial - although thethreat of a e25.00 Fine for taking a roll or similar out of therestaurant was ridiculous. (Suggest you offer a packed lunch alternativeif necessary) All Ski Resorts manage to live with the occasional snackbeing made up for the Skiers without resort to Fines!

Review 70：The swimming pool was not warm enough for October, and the lights in the gym were usually not on with staff often unavailable to rectify this after daylight hours. The nearby city of Setubal is quite industrial.

Review 71：The hotel is super value for money (4 nights for two people in a twin for only €225, including breakfast). The rooms are comfortable and very spacious, and even include a small kitchenette with fridge, as well as a balcony. The restaurant serves a good standard of food, although there is no children's menu - the breakast is plentiful with cooked food as well as fresh fruit salad. The staff were all friendly and most spoke very good English, one waiter in particular went out of his way to help. The gym has a good selection of equipment. The hotel is surrounded by its own, pleasant looking golf course, and is only 30 minutes from some good beaches towards the Arrabida... if you are able to navigate to them successfully.

Review 72：the hotel does not have double beds but only twin (only the suites have double bed. Very noisy from 06.00 to 06.30 am on Sunday morning (mowing the golf lawn?)

Review 85：It is a beatifull resort, nice to relax and not far from Lisbon (1/2 hour drive) or the coast with nice villages. It offers swimming pool and fitness room.

Review 86：The sauna was not working (and looked as though it had not for some time. The pool could have been cleaned more often to remove the bugs. The choice of English speaking channels was not great and only hving SportTV in the bar meant that I couldn't watch the F1 race as someone else wanted football! Should have had at least one more TV with the sports channel (in reception?). These minor complaints were far outweighed by the superb overall good points and value for money.

Review 87：Excellent service - all staff very friendly and helpful. Peaceful surroundings - away from traffic noise etc. Superb room - all you could want in a bedroom and bathroom. Excellent breakfast - great choice and cooked and presented very well. Fantastic value for money - quality at an attractively low price. Good security features & safe car park. Free wi-fi a real bonus. The spa massages were first class and we benefitted from a 50% offer - so we went bqack for more!
