Review 12：Location is 2 km to Camogli and is much cheaper and has all the old local shops. The hotel is reasonable for the price and the receptionist is very friendly and helpful. Good for 1-2 nights stay to go nearby villages.
Review 13：Free Wi Fi was appreciated but we had to keep logging on 3 or 4 times a day and get new passwords every day. There was no lounging area for during the day even though there was a spacious verandah where we had breakfast.

We could not keep the windows open because in Europe screens are not used;and since we were close to the road there was too much street noise to keep windows open. The bedding on the large bed was thin; able to feel the box support. TV was 15 inches; updating is needed. Overall these were all minor issues that did not affect our comfort.

The room was clean and spacious with a great patio overseeing the sea and beach. WiFi worked well; minor connectivity issues with connection drops. The breakfast was one of the best we have had during our two weeks in Italy, with a wide selection of fruit and other breakfast foods, and excellent coffee. Also, the free parking was an advantage.

Review 23：Recco is a small city. So close to Portofino. If you want to go portofino you can go only by train. Train station is vey close you walk 5 minutes. Ticket price 3.50 euro. Hotel Elena breakfast were very nice and delicious. You must try foccacia and seafood rice to dinner at Pizzeria Del Ponte.

Certainly stay again if we are in the area. Plenty of parking near the entrance door and also at the lower level on the edge of the sea.

The hotel is about 50 metres from the sea, situated in a bay that is protected by harbour walls. Great for swimming. On the opposite side of the bay, there is a beach (partly dark sand, partly stones). The staff are very friendly, and the breakfast is wonderful. Free parking available.
