Review 1：Very convenient for motorway only 5 mins. away . Hotel is in built up area but no noise in our bedroom .Situation compensated for by secluded garden and outdoor pool. All the staff we met spoke some English We used the cheaper of the 2 resaurants which is about 100 yds from hotel building but still in hotel grounds .very good basic Italian food and wine at very reasonable price with good range of choices and very pleasant surroundings

Review 2：The customer service was a complete failure. Every morning at breakfast the 4* hotel had only 1 waiter which always ran aways as soon as people entered to eat breakfast. The food plates were constantly empty and there was never water for the customers. We always had to ask for stuff to be brought and that was during the breakfast time (around 8.30-9). The breakfast was until 10.30!!! Moreover the dining restaurant staff was also incredibly rude. We tried to dine there twice, always unsuccessful. As it was summer we wanted to eat in the garden, which the reception told us was possible. However once we asked the restaurant they gave us an incredibly rude attitude that they had choose not to serve outside today. I could go on and on about the horrible service...

Review 4：We really enjoyed our stay here. The location was perfect for exploring Portofino and the coast. It was possible to walk to town, beach and port. The hotel itself was just what we needed in the heat of summer - lovely air conditioned rooms and the swimming pool was perfect. Breakfast was great and the staff friendly and helpful. We also enjoyed our meal at the restaurant.

Review 7：We had to get up in the middle of the night to close the windows due to all the motorcycle traffic. Wasn't bad, though.

Review 8：Excellent front desk service, excellent breakfast. Could have used more pillows. Mattress was very firm. Had just flown in overseas, so we slept hard. But were a bit more stuff than usual. Could have been airplane butt, to be fair. Didn't swim in pool, but it was beautiful and clean.

Review 10：A special hotel with good service, very good facilities (also pool) and an unusual architecture. Though not exactly located in "the center of the world", its absolutely worth a visit. Excellent breakfast.

Review 11：The room was very small, so barely no room to move around. It was on the ground floor with a view on a high wall, so there wasn't much light, and our bathing costumes & towels didn't dry during the night. The air conditioning started blasting out on its own in the middle of the night, which was not pleasant. Wi-Fi didn't work despite connexion. It's further from the seaside than what we thought (15-20 minutes walk).

Review 12：Breakfast was very nice (delicious cream or chocolate bombolone), room was clean. There is a car park at the hotel and it's easy to find a place to eat nearby. There is apparently a swimming pool, but we didn't use it. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Review 20：The air conditioning was very inefficient and blew out dust. The décor was rather old and tired and the room very dark. There were tea and coffee making facilities in the room (excitingly unusual for Italy) but no sachets or tea bags. When I asked at reception, she said there weren't any because it had run out. Tomorrow at 10 there would be more. Not helpful...

Review 21：We chose this hotel because it was very close to the motorway on our journey from southern Italy back to England. Our rate included breakfast, which gave us a good start to the next 8 hour leg of the journey.

Review 22：No internet connection at all. And nobody can help you with that. In the room only 50% bulbs were working properly and nobody cared about it, even when shown to hotel employees. Overall it was NOT a 4-star service.

Review 31：The hotel is perfect for visiting the nearby coastline and towns ofliguria, but more peaceful, better priced and or better quality thanactually staying there, its a very pricey region! You do need a carbecause its a bit far out, but you can park for free and safe.We had a few problems during our stay: the safebox in the room got stuck, we had car troubles and i forgot my passport in the hotel after we left, and all members of staff helped and solved all the issues very well, we also could change rooms just by asking and stay longer, it was all very easygoing. The manuelina grill restaurant is also very good and you get a discount as hotel guests. It was filled with locals when we were there, always a good sign.
