Hotel Scheepers sells fast on our site. This family-run hotel in a building from 1800 in central Valkenburg has free Wi-Fi throughout. It features 2 terraces and a bar with original features including an exposed wood-beam ceiling.

Review 1：The double bedroom was so tiny it was challenging to move around, with the luggage on the floor.

Review 2：First of all - Location! It was super close to Santa Village & walking distance to Albert Heijn Supermarket too. We had two rooms, one was for 2 person and the other was for 3. TheTriple-room was spacious and you can easily move around. Dominique the Trainee was very friendly, and accommodating to our request to be in a room with a lift ( had spoken/email her prior to our arrival too).

Review 3：Everyone at the hotel went out of their way to be helpful and made us all feel extremely welcome. It was a perfect location for a truly lovely Valkenburg Christmas trip. There was lots of choice for breakfast and it was all good. We hope to return.

Review 4：Since we were on the top floor, we didn't have heat to our room. It took two times to ask the staff to turn the heat on.

Review 7：I stayed in a fresh new room, just opened a few weeks ago. Very nice and comfortable. The bathroom is amazing and the bed is super comfortable. Also the breakfast was quite nice. Recommended! Valkenburg has a nice atmosphere as well.

Review 8：I didn't like the fact that they didn't have parking & we had to go through different locations to park. Also, the staff told us we wouldn't have to pay for parking, and it was charged to us at the end of the stay. They said their employee "had made a mistake"....

Review 22：This hotel is well located: close to major Valkenburg attractions but in a peaceful place. It has a car parking right to the hotel. Rooms are spaciuos and clean. Offered breakfast was tasty and included many different cold and warm dishes.

Review 24：VERY friendly & helpful staff, good parking, outstanding breakfast, local area looked loverly but did not have the time to explore properly. Will return for a longer visit later in the year.

Review 25：I don't like there being two single beds pushed together in a 'double' room. It would be worth mentioning to guests when checking in that noise can be heard across the hallway. Two women in the room across from us woke us up talking very loudly and continued like that for an hour, until they left.

Review 34：Everything in Valkenburg is in walking distance, this hotel is traditional in style but with a contemporary edge. The staff are wonderfully welcoming and friendly, amongst the gatherings in the bar in the evening it was hard to tell staff and guests apart. The breakfast is AMAZING. I will stay here again.

Review 44：Room was very cramped and very hot as it was south facing and had sun on it all day. We did complain to the manager who could only offer us a smaller room in the same south facing direction which surprising was no better, how ever he did give us two small bottles of water and was very sorry for the high temperature in the room. The toilet did not work in our room and the manager made no attempt to rectify so we had to use the WC's down stairs. The continental breakfast was average compared to other place we had stayed on our trip. So to summarise rubbish Hotel stay else where.

Review 89：There was only one thing that I did not like: the rooms are not isolated at all. You can hear your neighbours talking, going to the toilet, taking a shower... It is a real pity, because otherwise the hotel is lovely!

They even offer prosecco :). They offer secured parking. The hotel is conveniently located, close to the city center, close to restaurants, bars, supermarkets.

Review 91：The room is really small and in the picture it doesn´t look like that.The location of the room was awkward. I didn´t have the feeling that Iwas staying into a hotel. It feels that they want it to fill up withsomething that small space and decided to make a really tiny room. Alsothe wall are really thin. You could hear clearly when someone in thenext room is taking a shower or not.It felt like it was raining inside.I paid a lot for such a poor comfort. Also in the first night the heatwas turned off and it was pretty cold if you dare to stretch your legoutside the blanket. I also lost my pen in the room and probably it wasfound but they never reported back. I was expecting to receive an emailor something. That would have been really nice. But not all the hotelsare having this kind of policy.

Review 93：The room we were allocated was modern and clean but a bit basic. There were 2 separate mattresses, which have it difficult to sleep next to each other as I would end up on the floor. During the night someone tried to gain entry to our room, some drunk couple who clearly could not read the room number. I would suggest some additional locks if this happens more often. Also the TV remote was not working and I had to go down to get new batteries, that should not happen ideally.

Review 95：At the bar the glasses are cleaned in the pool of dirty water in the sink without rinsing. there is no dish-washing machine. Wet glasse are dried up with a piece of cloth. It was a disaster !!!

Review 97：We found the owner and staff to be extremely helpful and friendly. He is the third-generation owner and it makes a lovely change not to stay in a hotel-chain accommodation. He recommended a good restaurant for our evening meal and although we were only there for one night, we loved the town.

Review 105：Room was ridiculously small, with not enough space for clothing orcounter space. The first night no one came to clean the room or make upthe beds. Amenities were poor (the smallest sliver of soap I've everseen), and bathroom cheap - bare pipes under sink, plastic toilet-paperholder for extra paper (which they did not refill anyway even after weasked). One bartender charged us for several drinks we never ordered,and we had to correct this at check-out, though since we received notitemized bill, I only knew this because I demanded one.There are better rooms at this hotel than the one we had, and probably staying in one of those would make the experience better; but until they get rid of the two single beds shoved together and buy real double beds, it's unlikely we'll even try that option. Shame, as the owners are so nice - but the hotel itself is not.

Review 107：We visited for the Christmas Markets. The caves are about a 10 minute walk from the Hotel and the old town is on the route to the caves. The car park is very secure being located in a walled courtyard . The breakfast was excellent with lots of choice. The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly.
