Reviews for Antica Tindari
Review 1:Not a thing!
Review 2:I am lacking superlatives to describe this wonderful place. Peace and quiet in a room with a lovely balcony overlooking the vineyards and olive groves. Pina, a wonderful hostess and interesting raconteur. Fantastic food all from the farm - especially ravioli with fresh porcini mushrooms.
Review 3:a charming hide-away in the countryside: we enjoyed the vistas, to wake up by birds singing and the lovely bells of sheep and cows, the excellent wines and dinners accompagnied by the comments of the 'Signora Tindari'. The best stay we had in Sicily.
Review 4:Beautiful and peaceful setting in a lovely area of Sicily. Rooms are spacious and comfortable, with magnificent views of the countryside. Breakfast and dinner are outstanding, everything made with local produce. Best of all, Pina is a fantastic hostess, who gave us a personal tour of the winery and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Would highly recommend for a very relaxing stay!
Review 5:Ignore Google map and directions as this will take you down a long unmade track - use Pinas directions. Our Bedroom had very poor sound insulation from bathroom next door. The a/c unit did struggle in our room.
Review 6:Fantastic food, beautiful and very peaceful setting. Pina couldn't do enough for us. Just finishing a lovely swimming pool and terrace. Very nice large terrace attached to our room with sweeping views.
Review 7:We loved the fantastic wine, the incredible food, Pina's company, the personal tour of the winery, the incredible location and the beautiful decor.
Review 8:I didn't like leaving!
Review 9:Not only was the scenery lovely, the owner was an amazing hostess who made you feel like family. The food at the restaurant was incredible in its flavor, presentation, use of local and seasonal items and quality. The wine was delicious and paired exceptionally well with the meals. I will not be surprised when this restaurant gets several Michelin stars.
Review 10:Piña Martino is a very gracious host, with a passion for what she does. The food and facilities are first class. When in Sicily Antica Tindari is worth a visit if you want to relax and listen to the history of her place that goes back at least 250 years.
Review 11:It was all good!
Review 12:A beautiful experience learning about Sicilian food, wine, and the countryside. Wonderful accommodations and incredible food in a quiet, pastoral country setting, but close to Tindari, beaches, and other sights. We will be back!
Review 13:... We spent 1 week in Sicily and this was the most relaxing place. Wonderful, original food, within the vineyards and not far from the beach. Excellent wine!
Review 14:Absolutely nothing

Review 25:Pina was the most accommodating hostess making it feel like home. Every request met. Food was best I've ever had and so reasonably priced. It was a large spacious room with amazing views from the balcony.
Review 26:There was a large covered balcony but it wasn't very inviting. A little bare with odd chairs and small table.
Review 27:The food, wine and views were great. Definitely have an evening meal there.
Review 28:Fantastic room with large covered outdoor. Spacious bedroom and bathroom. In between vineyard and hills and small farmyards. Breathtaking view from our room, even the sea was visible. What you can call the perfect stopover between the Edna and Cefalu!

Review 45:Everything. The location is lovely (although a bit tricky to find at first), the rooms are comfortable, the staff is excellent (Ms Pina is a terrific host) and the food.... oh the food is just unforgetable. I would definitely like to stay there again (maybe in Spring or Autumn next time).
Review 46:Having a pool in the facility would really make this complete. But overall, we loved staying here.
Review 47:The food is definitely superlative! We felt cared for with personal efforts from the owner. it showed that the facility, the wine making and the food was a passion of the owner herself. The winery is superlative - special points to their Mammertino (DOC).
