Review 1：No towels no iron facilities as well no iron.not many electric switch almost no switch we have to remove table lamp to put our mobile charger in three bad Space room

Review 4：It's great for those who spend most of their time out of the hotel, near to everything almost restaurants, Barbers, clinic if needed. The great thing that they have Wi-Fi at rooms free. Very friendly staff. U forgotten my laptop and passport at room while I'm leaving but still called them and they found it for me.
Review 5：Staff were not professional they lack the sense of Customer Service. There was a flipina lady who was completely rude and was yelling at me. Msost of the hotel rooms are not well prepared to receive guests. Either they lack curtains or something wrong with the washroom I was planning to stay for 4 days on this hotel ..I checked out after 2

Review 7：The staff was extremely helpful and courteous. I lost my baggage during the trip to Salalah and the manager of the Hotel helped me contact the police and gave me a ride to the transportation company. The entire staff was helpful in relaying messages about my missing gear throughout the ordeal.
Review 8：for the price the hotel is very good...the rooms are clean and comfortable..pleasant staff...the hotel has a restaurant next door with a good selection of food..bus terminal is only 2km away
Review 9：1. damp, tiny, windowless room 2. no water in the bathroom (sic!), had to ask reception to turn it on when wanted to take shower! 3. mattress wrapped in plastic which made unpleasant sounds every time you turned, I suppose lest the guests wet themselves at night. 4. cleaning staff worked at 1 am, slammed doors, made noises etc., we couldn`t sleep. 5. hotel restaurant was closed. 6. overall the hotel had a shabby feel to it. We are NOT fussy but this was just too bad.

Review 11：I booked online. There you have mention there will be sitting area (sofa& side table) in double room.When I came there operator is saying wehave cancelled it. I think that is not right, you should have mension inyour AD.Also you don't serve food in ramadan time

Review 14：The room is not as described on booking.com it was smaller, AC wasnt working, room and hallway smelled bad like ciggarate even though i booked non smoking room it is really bad dont book there unless its ur last resource.

Review 16：Hated moisture in room, wet pillows, wet beddings though they changed everyday. Room moisture absorbers must be there. Windows locks were missing at third floor, safety issues for children. Elevator must be changed. No wifi signals. We booked two room apartment n they gave us three bed single room.

Review 50：I stayed in this Hotel two days on 18th & 19th Apr.2014 Excellent staff, mainly Mr.Bilal who has provided support to dropping us to near Bus point. Turkish Restaurant attached to Darbat Hotel very good, we took Hamour Fish Grill, very delicious. I recommend to all family and friends to this Hotel. Toilets are clean and neatly maintained. WiFi is free, but not in Room. Only at the Reception area.
Review 51：Only one small towel was provided. There was no kettle. The hotel is quite far from most restaurants- a fair bit of walking is required. One has to take a taxi to go to the ONTC bus station.
Review 52：Alhough I had booked for a single room, the Filipino receptionist upgraded me to a bigger room. It was spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable enough.

Review 59：Booking.com have prevented me from reporting on some aspects of my stay. I can tell you that I had to call the police twice, that I have paid for the room twice, that they never cleaned the room, there was no toilet paper, it did not match up to advertised standards by a very long way. They would not return my passport and attempted to make me miss my flight, until the police intervened. It is illegal for them to retain a passport which a traveller needs to carry at all times in Oman. Salalah and Oman in general are exciting to visit, but never ever use this hotel.
