Review 1：Long way to town and difficult to get a taxi. Had to walk to shopping mall. Haggling for taxi price was tiring. They start ridiculously high. Pool was open for women morning only. Expensive breakfast. Rather poor information for tourists. Tour desk closed in afternoons.

Review 2：Huge, comfortable room. Free wifi. Next to a lovely shopping mall with café and gardens. Nice pool.polite staff who gave me a late check out for free.Free shuttle.

Review 7：The Room Service staff very rude and annoying.He need to be taught about the sequence of service and phone etiquette. Aside from that the reception guy (Wearing Eye Glass) It seem out of his mind. I was standing in front of reception asking where is the Restaurant but he keep himself busy with someone on the phone. The Breakfast limited choices, they preferred for Indian food only.

Review 17：First to point the restaurant - breakfast OK - but no fresh vegetable at all! But - dinner was terrible! The foodcourt offers better quality than the hotel restaurant. Apartment - 2 rooms for family - probably furnished by granmother in early 80ties, old-fashioned. Big eating table, but except little fridge, no kettle to make tea or coffee or cook-top to heat a milk for children. That small thing like kettle, would make big plus to family with kids.

Brand new flat panel TV were installed in the rooms whilst we were there...A vast improvement on the 20 inch CRT that was there before.

I booked 2 family rooms on booking.com for OMR 300 but the hotel charged me OMR 351 and they said "the rates got increased and this is what you have to pay, we don't care about your online booking.. It's your business"

Review 88：The Hamdan is very well located near the new beautiful Garden Mall and opposite an excellent supermarket. It is only s short distance from the souk. We found the staff very friendly and helpful. A good buffet breakfast was included in the room price. The rooms are very spacious and well furnished with a hair dryer, a small fridge, a lounge area and 2 televisions. The wifi works very well, is free and available in the rooms.

Review 89：The morning staff could rarely answer the questions. There was no competent person in the exercise room/gym to help. The breakfast buffet was mediocre at best.

Review 93：Friendly personnel, very spacious and very clean room. The room itself was mostly quiet and I always slept well. I don't really have any complains about this hotel. Only, I did not take breakfast, so am unable to judge that. The location of the hotel is perfect: near the main road of Salalah and opposite of Lulu supermarket. Car parking is in front of the hotel. A petrol station is a few hundred meters away from the hotel. On my next visit to Salalah, I think I will stay at the Hamdan Plaza Hotel again.

Review 94：Staff unhelpful and slightly rude. No taxi in the area and those that do come outside the hotel charge 3times as much. There is no view of anything other than a car park behind the hotel.

Review 98：it's an indian hotel, breakfast is all indian food. service is done by indians in indian style. this is not an appropriate western or arab hotel. there are wonderful facilties including gym, billiards, sauna, steam room etc but they were almost always closed and locked and getting them opend involved me having to raise my voice at the front desk. everything was closed for the eid but they raised rates for the holiday. the staff were surly and the breakfast inedible. the pool needs to be scrubbed as it is filthy, and the garden is mostly dead. it could be a lovely hotel but it is not maintained. when i complained that my bathroom sink did not drain, the indian man told me i had caused it by putting too much dirt down the drain. i will never stay there again, and i cannot recommend it.
