Reviews for Hotel Dar Mounir
Review 1:We could not find the hotel on our gps, the directions for nearby parking should be more specific
Review 2:Staff were great the breakfast is the best in town at their own cafe
Review 3:The place is beautifully decorated and loved the whole feel of the place. The roof top terrace was beautiful. And it is well situated near the square, but far enough away from the noise
Review 4:The staff were friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to provide an excellent service and nothing was too much trouble for them. The hotel is small and beautifully decorated. The rooms are very clean with good facilities.
Review 5:It would help a tiny bit to have directions from the main square, however staff were at hand to answer phone and offer to come out so this was not a problem really! Any additional direction is helpful when 'guides' see you looking around with bags and offer their services, but again, staff were helpful and this wasn't really a problem at all.
Review 6:Great position - Situation just round a couple of corners to the main square/place in Chefchaouen, fairly easy to find even on initial arrival. Beautiful exterior and interior - Beautiful panoramic view from sunny roof terrace, elegant arched doorway with freshly washed walls. Interior beautifully outfitted and decorated. Room was spacious, very clean, aesthetic and stylishly fitted. Climate control kept room perfect temperature during January visit, would be confident it would keep it cool in summer too. Great bathroom, shower always hot. Plugs by the bed for charging devices. Staff really hospitable, professional and friendly. Breakfast great, accommodated to my vegan diet and ensured things were suitable.
Review 7:the room is a little bit too dark. The hot water is not stable.
Review 8:Very good location, just near the central place, very convinient to everywhere. The hotel itself is a lovely place. The personal here is also nice.
Review 9:It was very cold in the room and the owner switched on the central heating after a couple of hours from our many requests .The heating was switched off maximum two hours later. The wifi didn't work in the room. The shower was out of order.
Review 10:The staff is friendly but cannot take decisions.
Review 11:We stayed there for a weekend. Hotel is located very conveniently in a very center of the town. It was charming, clean and views from the rooftop breathtaking. But really what was the best was the staff. I have never met such a friendly and helpful people. If you go to Chefchaouen, stay in this hotel!
Review 12:Facilities are a little bit old. No map was provided (print the Google map only). Wifi is not stable.
Review 13:Room is big. Great Location, just a minute away from the main plaza.

Review 28:All the staff are really friendly and very nice peoples. In fact, they were the nicest peoples we met on our trip in morroco. The room was very nice and clean with super fast wi-fi. The hotel location is near the city center which is very strategically located. Lastly, the food are also very good, you also can have it on rooftop with beautiful view of the city and mountain.
Review 29:The parking is outside the Medina but the staff has helped us totransport our laguage to the hotel.

Review 31:If u tell me there is breakfast included, why do I have to wake uparound 7 n nobody to help me with breakfast, then I was told by a deskclerk that they would open at 0815 for breakfast n still nothing......he hardly spoke English....it wasn't till about 0845 that Ifinally had breakfast and had to beggggggggggggggg for morecoffee...they gave me this lil black coffee...it was a struggle tryingto get him to understand I wanted only black coffee......he couldn'tbelieve that I wanted more n wanted to charge me for it ....I was likenope I don't think so .....I may not wake up with tea and all thissugar and all these flour accoutrements but my COFFEE......is aritual.....also when I checked in I didn't like the shower becauseit was dirty ....they changed it BUT....he kept tellg me he couldn'thelp with food because he was the only person in the riad .....howeverhe managed to find someone to bring me some food ......you had to orderthru the front desk...strange .....for the rest I was happy ...once Iunderstood that you order your food thru the front desk I accepted that...n then all of a sudden a different person would deliver yourfood....for the rest, I was ok with it .....one gentleman was very veryvery nice ....n he spoke Spanish fluently.....but for the am guy not tobe able to speak Spanish or French or English or Italian ...only Arabic, that is where I had an issue.....
Review 32:The rooms were tiny!!!! Considering we paid only 15 euros a night moreto stay in an absolute palace in Fes the value for money was terrible
Review 33:Terrace was lovely and the man that brought meals was great
Review 34:Public parking was not "on site", but 400m away. which was a long way to cart a large motorcycle topbox plus other bits and pieces.
Review 35:Something a bit different! The roof terrace would have been nice had it not been so cold.
Review 36:Liked everything but were a little cold in the night - luckily we foundspare blankets.
Review 37:An excellent introduction to Morocco, wish we'd been able to arriveearlier as planned. Perfect location for exploring Chefchaouene.Delicious breakfast on lovely roof terrace.
Review 38:Small rooms and narrow corredors. Sounds and noice because of no aislation. No breakfast in the hotel; 100 m:s away in an other place.
Review 39:Pittouresque environment. At 2000 m:s height.
Review 40:Good location, friendly staff.
Review 41:Ambiance, staff, view, people. The best of our trip in Morocco
