Reviews for Podere Bellarina B&B

Review 1:Very difficult to find. Uninspiring surroundings. Autostrada too close for comfort. Ear plugs needed at night. Toilet cistern faulty. Lack of toiletries. Over the top decor with plastic flowers and the like.

Review 2:Good sized bedroom. Fridge useful. Comfortable bed of Good size and nice linen. Adequate wardrobe space.

Review 3:The place is hard to find even with a GPS and the surroundings look a bit scary at first. Very tiny unpaved road, it did not look like a safe place to stay at first

Review 4:The room was lovely, very well cared for and very spacious. Although the hosts did not speak english they were all very polite and nice. Breakfast was delicious. Although it is close to the highway it is also very near to the city center by car (5min). I would recommend it for a night stay on your way to or back from Cinque Terre or La Spezia

Review 5:Nothing.

Review 6:Awesome decorated place. Like in tale :) Nice owners, very nice yard, where you can spend nice evenings. A little noise from the big road that is in not short distance, but it was insignificant for us. The nice town you can reach by car and have a tasty supper.

Review 7:Just a small suggestion is to enhance the breakfast options: most of what was on offer was sweets (probably not a problem when you are not trying to decrease the consumption of those).

Review 8:Excellent, tastefully-appointed rooms with comfortable bedding, and everything you can only think of. The entire house is very well decorated, we could not have helped taking pictures everywhere!

Review 9:Nothing!!!!!

Review 10:This is a very very nice Bed and Breakfast place....the rooms are nicely decorated and the place is clean and cozy. The keepers are very gentle and nice people and we had a great time over there. During these 5 days it was always as if coming home. Even though the place is a little bid out of town (Sarzana) and not easy to reach, it is still a place to stay when you are planning on visiting Cinque Terre....you can reach La Spezia station (beginning of the train or boat trip to Cinque Terre) easily by car, train or bus and the sea is also not far away. Also, Sarzana itself is a nice little town worthwile a visit....if you are interested in old cities with fortifications (great to explore). The other fortification on the hill outside of Sarzana is described as a "role-modell" for a medieval fortification...and this is true. Enjoy the stay, the location, the people and the very good sweat breakfast. We had a great time. Mille mille grazie!!!!! G & S

Review 11:Simply great! Full equipped locati on, Nice garden with bbq, cool bedrooms, peaceful place close both to the sea and historical towns such as sarzana... Thanks to mafalda for the delicious breakfasts and Her sensible suggestions! :)

Review 12:No dislikes

Review 13:Loved the setting even though a little hard to find. Great room, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was generous and staff very pleasant and helpful. Would recommend.

Review 14:A one night stay at Podere B ellarina, but a wonderful one. A great and welcoming reception by owners. Very clean and situated in a rural area close to La Spezia. Since in Sarzana, must visit the Citadel and surrounding areas. Thank you for the great stay!

Review 15:A good care for the guests. breakfast was lovely at garden

Review 16:Everything was fine.

Review 17:got bitten in bed

Review 18:Great breakfast, very nice people

Review 19:A little over decorated for my simpler tastes.

Review 20:Large rooms and spotlessly clean - friendly staff with great attention to detail.

Review 21:Very welcoming people, both at Ballarina and in the town of Sarzana. Marfelda, the owner, her aunty and daughter are lovely people! Off the beaten tourist track, just as we like it, but also giving ready access to the Cinque Terre. Sarzana is a town of character with a proud history and a town centre full of interest. Ballarina is semi-rural and full of character as well. The rooms were homely rather than sterile like you would get in most hotels. Ballarina and Sarzana will always be fond memories of our trip to Italy. Thank you so much Marfelda... grazie mille!

Review 22:Everything. We are long distance walkers walking the Via Francigena and Mafalda went out of her way to help us. A good place for a couple of days rest and relaxation.

Review 23:Location was a little out of the way but easy enough to find.

Review 24:Beautiful and homely rooms, really comfortable bed, delicious breakfast of fresh cakes, pastries and yogurt, coffee made to order! We really enjoyed it, the owner was delightful and showed such attention to detail, very lovely!

Review 25:nothing at all!!

Review 26:the warmth of the hospitality from the moment we arrived and were welcomed with coffee and almond cakes. the rooms were very doll'S house but beautifully presented and the attention to detail would put 5 star hotels to shame. the breakfast was fresh pastries and local preserves and served in A delightful room. the garden, although 200 meteres from the motorway was A lovely shaded place to pass away the evening with A bottle of wine. the hostess was charming and really understood the word 'hospitality'. delightful stay and fantastic value for money.

Review 27:Location is slightly offbeat, need some time and help from neighboursto locate.

Review 28:Love the host and her daughter who kindly drew maps, gave us directionsto the town, loaned us bicyles to ride around and the great breakfastspread next morning. The room was huge, equipped with aircon, fridge, alarge bathroom with shower tub, electric kettle and biscuits and jam.Fantastic service.

Review 29:The noise from the motorway, that was a constant disturbance during day and night. We could sleap as well, but it speared the romantic-countryside look ok the house and the garden.

Review 30:The friendly staff, the clean, comfortable room with a small privat sitting room. Also having the opportunity of making and having a tea in our sitting room is a plus.

Review 31:Hard to find, sat nav tried to take me through an allotment area

Review 32:Very warm welcome, room was very well decorated and had a separate sitting area, and had full use of the garden we only used it as an overnight stop but had a very comfortable night

Review 33:Not great instructions for finding this b and b - could be improved bysaying that the left hand turn is immediately after going under thebridge - just off the motorway. If you want to sit in the garden, beprepared for lots of road noise, but not heard in the house so don'tget put off by this.

Review 34:Very welcoming owner. Lovely room with extra facilites of a fridge andarm chairs which we found improved the usual rooms. Beautifullydecorated and a very comfortable bed. We stayed 2 nights to see thearea. Sarzana town is worth a look - lots of small old streets andshops. Convenient to the motorway for an overnight stop. Greatbreakfast. Would stop here again.

Review 35:The guesthouse was not centrally-located, but it was easy enough to walk to the centre of town (10 - 15 minutes). Having a car would be the easiest way to get around this area.

Review 36:The woman running the hotel was extremely friendly and helpful, in spite of the small language barrier. The room was like a mini apartment - with a small sitting area, large bathroom and large bedroom. The small fridge and kettle were great to have. The bedroom itself was pretty and breakfast included more than enough pastries and coffee. All in all, it was a very relaxing, comfortable stay, and I would definitely recommend it to others.

Review 37:Very very nice! staff is friendly. House is beautiful!

Review 38:Everything was beyond good.

Review 39:small rooms with too many decorating stuff that we have to be careful.

Review 40:good staff service.

Review 41:Staff were lovely and very helpful with suggesting where to eat.
