Review 1：Wonderful architecture of buildings and grounds creates a sense of calm and relaxation from entry and into all settings. Bedroom views of palms and the sea are amazing. Good buffet meals offer a large choice, including vegetarian. Very friendly and accommodating staff makes for an extremely enjoyable holiday.

Review 2：Nautilus , the ala-carte restaurant was a big disappointment. The crab was soft, flesh had shrank, ( as found in stale crabs) and fluid dripped from it. Mosquitoes were a bother- even indoors. Palm trees were picturesque but did not give shade to the hot afternoons. Recommend some trees with shade to be planted - for residents to enjoy the outdoors.

Review 3：Well designed hotel by the beach. A lovely vast garden that opens to the ocean. Matured palm trees. Room was tastefully furnished , clean, and well lit.

Review 6：Comparing with other 5 star hotels such as the Cinnamon Grand, Cinnamon Lakeside, the Hilton and Galadari in Colombo the food was very expensive even though the buffet spread was not as big.

Review 7：The staff was very friendly and helpful and the atmosphere was nice.

Review 8：No bidet shower in the room. Some of the lights in the corridor were out and were not replaced. It felt very dark going back to the room. We booked a double and triple room. The triple room was exactly the same as the double room. All they did was add an extra bed (when we arrived the bed was not set up, and we said it was okay, to set it up tmr as our 3rd guest was joining us the following night, so on night 1 there was only a double bed. The following day when we got back to the room around 6pm, still NO bed. When it came to check out they were incredibly inflexible and refused to charge us a double room rate even though that was exactly what we got on the first night - a double room.)It was the second time my mother was staying at Blue water. Sadly it will be our last due to their failure to please the customer, even with such a small gesture. Disappointing experience. Lots of flies in the restaurant too.

Review 12：I used to stay in this hotel quite often while I was in Sri Lanka a few years ago. I was a bit disjointed to see that the facility has deteriorated over time. The rooms now look quite old, shower water was not hot, door did not open properly etc.. The biggest disappointment was breakfast. Curd (yogurt) was spoiled, and meatball was under-cooked which gave food poisoning to my husband, which ruined the rest of our trip...

Review 13：As always, Blue Water's facility has a beautiful architecture which makes you relax well. Spa is also wonderful, and I had one of the best massages in life! Sri Lankan dance show at night was also very impressive. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Review 15：Free yoga lesson, music play at night, beautiful building, too large pool. Though the Wadduwa town itself doesn't really have much to see, the hotel staffs try to entertain the guests and it was pleasant.

Review 16：Pool mosaic was broken in several places which hurts feet. Serious health & safety hazard. Found tooth pick piece in soup served for my 5 year old son, for which the waiter apologised. Fortunately, it was found before being swallowed. All day dining cannot cater to huge clientele, had to wait for several minutes to find a table and the staff are not courteous. Though the food was tasty, overall experience is pretty bad.

Review 23：This is a great hotel, very large and open with several restaurents. We were in a suite which is a very large room and very very comfortable. The staff are all friendly and helpful and the food is great! The buffet changes everyday. The pool is fab too but beware there are lots of crows in this area which can be annoying at times! Off the main road so no disturbance from traffic noise. We have stayed several times and will be back again!

Review 31：The resort isn't really near much else to see and do if you like meandering around and seeing the sights. You can hire a car and travel but Wadduwa (or should I say the part where the resort is located) itself hasn't got much to see and do, and you are slightly limited on eating anywhere else. The room was clean and comfortable although some might consider it a touch on the small side. If you are considering snorkelling reefs etc you might want to look elsewhere. All in all it served our purposes and we had an enjoyable long weekend, but possibly would consider something a bit more central if we were looking to stay any longer.

Review 32：Quiet location, the resort was clean and well managed, the staff helpful, the food good, next to the sea, and the facilities are as you would expect for a resort like this. Lovely pool, and has a gym, spa, volleyball court etc. Trips can be arranged onsite if you need to, and visiting the turtle hatchery was a highlight for us, and we enjoyed the boat trip as well. We went for some R&R and for this the resort was good if you really aren't planning to do much more than recuperate and recharge your batteries.

Review 33：The coffee is terrible. When so much attention is paid to the catering, they really should just buy a decent coffee machine! Some staff members loitered too much in the hope of getting tips. More than happy to pay tips but when deserved and not when being pushed. The pool lifeguard chap approached us 3 times on our last day blatantly hoping we would give him a leaving tip ( so we didn't!) Some of the music played in the outside area is very cheesy / 1980s (Lionel Richie and Barry Manilow covers!)

Review 34：The pool and grounds, vicinity to the beach, room, food and service were all excellent. Lovely feel to the hotel too, nude decor and finishing. All in all a really relaxing and comfortable few days, highly recommended.

They have water aerobic at 11am morning and they switch on loud music,so if you plan to sleep and rest don't even think to rest after 11am,you will be waking up with that loud music.Special if your room is facing pool.

Review 114：1. When we booked the hotel through booking.com no where in the website was mentioned that you will charge to full fees of the booked room 7 days prior our arrival. I wanted to pay by cash and couldn't because the hotel already charged me as I mentioned above.During the breakfast server brought the toasts 20 minutes after we had the eggs. The lift didn't work most of the time. We specified that we would like to have 1 king/ queen size bed- upon arrivel given 2 beds and when we show our request we found that only double bed was available

Although the pool was big it only had 4 ladders in and out I am 22wks pregnant so found this difficult. The three restaurants had the same food more variety between restaurants would be good. They charged us three days before we got there when terms and conditions said we wouldn't be charged till we arrived! The laundry service was a bit slow.

Review 126：The number of stray dogs and cats roaming freely around the hotelgrounds. This is a disgrace and should not be allowed. As we stayed overnew year we were compelled to pay for the NYEve dinner, we had no choicewhich I found appalling. Hidden costs were a surprise Staff would notchange my usd into smaller denominations, general level of service lefta lot to be desired for a supposed 5 star hotel. Hotel was clearly outto try and make as much money from clients as possible providing poorservice in return.

Review 128：There were no childrens facilities, in future I would lookk for a hotel that catered for children eg. a jungle gym and water slides. I stood on a long fishbone that had the potential of ruining my trip, the bone was lying on the grass near the pool, the life guard was very helpful and cleaned the wound with detol and applied a bandage.
