The Blu Tropical's private sandy beach is 1,000 feet away, along a private road. Between May and October it is equipped with free lounge chairs and sun umbrellas.
The Tropical's restaurant on the beach serves a delicious mix of traditional Calabrian cuisine and international dishes. Themed evenings are organized regularly.
The Tropical offers a free shuttle service to/from Zambrone Train Station. Upon arrival, guests are greeted with a complimentary welcome drink.
During summer the hotel may only be reserved for weekly stays, from Saturday to Saturday.

Review 1：Kitchen could do with a kettle and toaster and an oven would be a bonus.

Review 2：Good location and pleasant surroundings. Convenient for beach and a short drive away from plenty of resteraunts.

Review 10：- Access to the beach is closed during nights so you can't swim at nights and even in the early morning. - Restaurant in Blu Tropical (Blu Shine or something like that) is quite bad. Service is sluggish, food is nothing intersting, prices are comparably high. It is better to eat in other nearby places. - WiFi is available only at hotel's reception and in the beach bar. - There are some mosquitoes in the evening, so you might need some repellent or other insecticides. - Music in the beach area during the day and in the bar during evening animation could be loud. - Shower cabin in the apartment is very incapacious and cabin doors are of bad construction.

Review 11：We stayed at Blu Tropical for 10 days.First of all, just for information (as it is not very clear from hotel's description) - there is separate hotel bulding up on the hill and residence (apartments) area down the hill, significantly closer to the beach. Road from hotel to the beach is not very long, but steep, so it could be not pleasant to climb to the hotel from the beach under the Calabrian sun.We stayed in the residence, which is preferrable during swimming season, as soon as beach is much closer. Location is very fine, hotel has a private beach which is large, very clean, mainly sandy. Umbrella, sunbead and lounge on the beach are provided for hotel and residence guests for free. Beach towels, water bicycle and canoes are available for additional fee. Residence area is rather big, green, has high plants and two playgrounds for kids. Guest parking is close and convinient.We rented apartments with 2 rooms, rooms are not very large but pleasant. Terrace is very good, large and comfortable. Not all the apartments have a sea view, so it should be negotiated on booking stage. Kitchen is equipped with the fridge, cooker and necessary kitchenware, but lacks some basic products and expendables, like solt/pepper, towels, washing detergents, etc. Soap and shampoo were provided upon additional request only. It's not a big problem, there is a mini-market in the camping on the left of Blu Tropical with a set of required goods. There is a laundry machine on the territory, which requires token to be bought in bar/reception area. Detergent is not provided.Staff is generally friendly, but not very fluent in English, so basic knowledge of Italian will be useful. There are some animation in the beach and bar areas, but we are not interested in this stuff.Zambrone train station is in the walking distance (but is up on the hill), as soon as some shops (including shop with fresh local fish and seafood) and cafes/restaurants.

Review 15：We stayed in one of the apartments and the rooms,bathroom & kitchen were very clean. The beach is very close to the apartment max 200m walk. The sea water was nice blue & clear. Gives you real vacation feeling. Beach is very clean. We did not use the restaurant.

Review 16：We spend two weeks of holiday at Blu Tropical hotel and all I can say is that everything was just perfect. We found there an excellent environment for a relaxing holiday. The owners, the staff (all the staff, with no exception), the foods and the ambiance were amazing. The beach was also excellent and I must add a special plus for the cleanliness of the entire resort. Highly recommended for a relaxing holiday.

Very friendly staff, the territory of the residence is excellent, very green, the sea is very beautiful, the beach is good and clean, sunbeds and parasols on the beach is free, delicious meals in the restaurant and not expensive, the waiters are working professionally.
