Reviews for Kendalls Beach Holiday Park
Review 1:Nothing bad, the cabin was clean and had air con and fans. A little dated, but that is fairly represented in the many photos. There is no misrepresentation.
Review 2:Right on the beach, with a lovely easy walk around the headland path to Blowhole and cafes. Weather was grey, but still plenty to do. We went to Minnamurra Rainforest and Illawarra Fly, instead of beach and Jamberoo as originally planned.
Review 3:They are doing construction however it really wasn't an issue and we were advised before arriving.
Review 4:Close to beach, the cabin was the best we'd been in, clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly to chat with allowing us to check out other cabinsand advising on the area. Loved it so much we've booked in again for a longer stay next month.
Review 5:The down side to Kendalls on the Beach is the 10pm noise curfew. We were there for a family reunion, 30 or so people, and didn't know about the curfew until we checked in. Their "security guard" was right in our faces at 10.05pm telling us to be quiet. We were sitting on the verandah of our cabin talking, kids inside, no loud music, no yelling, just chatting and laughing, and fully aware of a noise curfew so we were careful about how loud we were, even whispering at times. The security guard continued to harass us (she was obsessed) during the night to keep the noise down, telling us that the noise carries as they were in a valley. As they took our money and our booking as a group, we felt that this was rather unfair. We didn't realise that we were supposed to go to bed at 10pm!!!! It was pointed out that 1) we were on private property and 2) they had the rules of the park printed on the other side of their map and yes, the rules say "no undue noise". After some research, I found undue noise refers to loud parties, loud music, loud motors, etc, not people talking!!! And I don't know how they get away with a 10pm noise curfew when the law is 12am!!!!!!! I would not recommend this place for any sort of group gatherings, especially if you want to have a bit of fun and a laugh. Unfortunately, this put a bit of a dampener our annual family reunion and we won't be going back.
Review 6:The facilities are very good, lots of space and everything you need. The park is right on the water so it's easy to get to the beach.
Review 7:Nothing.
Review 8:Just by the beach, with beautiful sand for sandcastle building. Lined with walking paths to town with nice eating places. Near to attractions like Illawara Tree Top Walk.
Review 9:overpowering cleaning products smell in cabin that never went away. Whole cabin smelt like a public toilet. We would have stayed outside on verandas but it was winter.
Review 10:Uncrowded and fabulous beach location and a short cycle ride into town.
Review 11:View Proximity to beach Peacefulness
Review 12:At the time we were there they were doing renovations but didn't affect us, nothing to complain about we enjoyed our stay.

Review 24:No ocean views. Very average. Away from main shops and hard to find
Review 25:Did some walking along the beautiful coast line to the blow hole.
Review 26:The bathroom tidy wasn't emptied prior to our arrival.
Review 27:A spacious, well appointed cabin, it wanted for nothing.
Review 28:There is nothing to complain about. Never mind the small things. I wasn't looking for perfection.
Review 29:Just the simplicity on the one hand and the comfort and generosity of the accommodation on the other. I've returned home a different person, relaxed with a new lease on life.
Review 30:On my 'comment sheet' when leaving your resort, I did say that my daughter & I were abit concerned about the long and large pine tree branches of the tree in front of my car parking area. It was extremely windy the 2 nights we stayed at resort so the banging of the branches on the roof was rather disturbing + I was also worried that a branch could fall onto my vehicle. Otherwise, your park was fantastic & if we ever travel south from Newcastle again, we would plan to stay at your resort once more.
Review 31:location of our cabin was lovely - could see the beach from our verandah. Very peaceful surroundings.Cabin was extremely clean and tidy besides the kitchen etc were well stocked with needed things. My daughter, her 2 little children and myself enjoyed the stay very much THANKYOU. p.s. the fish and chip shop on the waterfront not far from the blow-hole, has the best cook. The perch and the crispy beer batter was the best my daughter & I have ever eaten...we eat alot of shop-cooked fish. (this 50years + lady is also a school teacher in case you don't know the shop I'm talking about). Why not tell your guests to definitely go to her shop as they won't be sorry. She feeds the gulls and pelicans which hang around outside her shop. A lovely lady.
Review 32:Nothing! If I was super picky, a hair dryer would have nice... BUT this is super picky!!
Review 33:EVERYTHING was provided, very good quality and spacious clean cabins, with large deck with private BBQ facilities, excellent kitchen with quality inclusions. Washing machine & dryer (& 1 load worth of washing powder for when your child jumps into the sea on arrival fully clothed), large flat screen with good reception...even a tv in the main bedroom & electric blanket. We travelled by train and walked comfortably to the park and back & forth to Kiama various times, location cannot be faulted with the beach right on the doorstep. Staff were friendly, knowledgable about the area, playground was well maintained, in fact the whole park was, could not fault anything! Thank you Kendall Beach Holiday Park!
