Review 1：They could do with a small shop on site. Quite a walk into Lagos for milk and essentials when you do not have a car.

Review 2：The apartment was big and spacious. The grounds were beautiful and very well kept.

Review 3：some days the cleaning stuff did not clean properly, and seems as if they had just pulled the bed covers and left with mess still in the house also only had an outdoor baby pool and weather was bad so could not access facilities

Review 5：This was a duplex or two story unit. Every day the maids would ring the door bell and come busting in the unit before I could throw on a robe and get downstairs! A No Service Needed sign would have alleviated that. The kitchen is downstairs and the living room is upstairs, this was a little awkward at times.

Review 6：It's a nice resort in a nice, remote vacation destination. The facilities were nice, but not flashy.

Review 7：The resort is a building site right next to the duplex apartments and outdoor pool and will be for the foreseeable future. The noise was pretty constant from around 7:30 am and on occasions till 9pm. Unless you get up early and plan to be out all day, I'd stay somewhere else until the work has finished.

Review 8：When the building work is finished, this will be an excellent place to stay if you want to be near Lagos, right near the motorway or main coastal road and don't mind the drive into town. The facilities are excellent especially the indoor pool, spa and gym plus the golf and tennis for enthusiasts. The duplex apartments are new and also very spacious and comfortable with pleasant terraces, some with town and sea views.

Review 10：We have stayed in many different places around Lagos and this is by far the best value for the money. There were a few small issues that were taken care of immediately by the staff. Very helpful.

Review 20：We did not like the beds. They were uncomfortable and we had a hard time sleeping through the night on them. Also, we are not fans of the split king beds and they are common in Spain and Portugal.

Review 33：Beautiful place just outside Lagos! We had the biggest Villa with a private swimming pool. The Villa was quite tastefully made.

Review 34：We travelled with our two grown up children and found the apartments excellent. The standard and cleanliness was exceptional and the apartment was very well equipped. Would definitely return to these apartments. We had a hired car and would advise that a car is essential as apartments are about 10/15 minutes from town centre and supermarkets.

Review 35：Some staff in other areas such as the restaurant and particularly the golf reception/shop were not very welcoming or even polite at times. Very disappointed that 35% discount off cost of a round of golf for villa hirers was not honoured. We were told we had to pay the same rate offered to anyone playing there including those not even staying on site. The summer rate we had to pay was the same as offered on fliers free in Lagos town centre. Hence significantly reducing the value/reason for staying on site.

Review 36：Generally very good facilities. Villa was extremely well equipped and cared for. Staff in certain areas such as the Spa were excellent and very friendly.

Review 37：We were so grateful for our apartment being serviced every day and on some days our kitchen floor would receive a quick mop. The only thing that we were a tad disappointed about was that the rest of the apartment floors were not mopped. With the big sliding doors open dirt/dust was being blown inside and there was a lot of sand from beach trips so the floors got really dirty every day. There was a broom and mop in the apartment so we were able to clean the floors ourselves, I think we just thought this would be part of the daily service and it would have been a treat to have this done for us

Review 38：We loved our stay at Boavista. The resort is extremely well maintained, beautiful to look at and walk around. My husband had a good round of golf and thoroughly enjoyed the course. The facilities are great. Our 2 bedroom apartment was lovely, very spacious and so comfortable. The club house food is delicious, generous and very reasonably priced. My 2 year old son was fussed over and made to feel so welcome. The staff in general are so friendly and accommodating which really added value to our stay. The location is great too, a quick drive to the shops, beaches and Lagos town.

Review 68：The wind pumps in this part of the Algarve, so having sundowners on the balcony in the evening is a non-event, which was a pity as the setting is lovely! The Gym was a little small for the number of users, so had to wait for equipment... The restaurant is very dated and needs some redecorating compared with similar facilities in the Algarve.

Review 100：The villa description said 2 double beds and 2 single beds but the double beds were 2 single beds side-by-side wish is extremely uncomfortable for a couple. You need to pay for the towels at the spa. No WiFi at the villa. One night when leaving the villa we locked the front door and forgot the key on the lock... We contacted the resort staff and after 2 hours trying to solve the problem they decided to call a locksmith. What we weren't told is that we would have to pay €73 for this service, yes that's right, 73 euros for a 2 min job, something we only found out at check-out. That service usually doesn't cost more the 25 euros in Portugal (I'm portuguese so I know what I'm talking about) It was our second time at Boavista golf resort and because of this bad experience will probably be our last.

Review 101：The villa is brand new with everything you need. The location is beautiful and the spa is nice.

Review 102：Security staff were overly inquisitive.you couldn'twalk down the lane day or night without someone coming up to you and wouldn't say anything.Also the staff couldn't get you off the course fast enough even though there was plenty of day light left.Golf course was a tough walk . The par 3s were almost unplayable and almost all were well over 200 yards and forced carrys. Other par fours are relatively short but the extra yardage was unfortunately put into the par 3s.

In the evenings mainly, you'll hear almost every stomp or move of chair above you if you are ground floor. Same for apartment next to you across the hall. That said, security & resort staff will sort it out when you complain so you only lose one night & day after because you're tired due to lack of sleep...
