Review 1：Welcome staff on arrival were great. Following morning we were herded out of our room as we had exceeded out check out time by 10mins. We were not told on check in what time check out was so assumed 11 as many other places. At 10:40 a surely woman opened our room door and told us to "get out in 10mins" We left the room by 11am, but were forced to pay double the amount for our half hour extra stay due to "cleaning staff, waiting to clean the room". No discussion was allowed with the reception desk, just pay and get out. Truly terrible and upsetting experience, which ruined our otherwise pleasant and peaceful stay on the island.
Review 2：Started off as a lovely experience, facilities good, outside building is pretty and very peaceful. Room was adequate for one night stay but basic.
Review 3：A cheaper price would have been great, but i guess these prices are normal for Schiermonnikoog.

They even e-mailed me (in my native language that is not their native language) one week before to inform me about an event that would be taking place close to the hotel that might be a bit noisy. We went anyway and it wasn't noisy at all. But very considerate. Hotel is very charming and cozy.

Review 13：By no means does it stand out and deserve an 8.5. It misses the cosiness of a hotel and it is fairly basic; as it is a lot of slfservice, the hotel is full of signs with do's and don'ts.
