Review 1：The bed was 2 singles pushed together which is pretty common but still annoying. We got the studio room which didn't have a microwave. If you wanted the internet you had to pay and it wasn't cheap.

Review 7：The smell of urine of the room. The fact that we had to walk past all the cockroaches outside to avail of wifi that didn't work. The mattress was a sheet of foam (2 sheets of foam with a double sheet over them) There were some kind of tiny dervish creatures on the worktop above the fridge and in the bathroom. Room was overlooking a busy road

Review 9：The area had a few suss looking people around, a bit of a security worry. Mess left around the pool, not cleaned promptly.

Review 36：It was annoying not having a microwave in the room.the room was full of ants you could not leave anything any where without ants crawling all over it we booked another night mid week so we could go out on the reef and still have two days of relaxing before the drive back to Sydney the next morning we were woken bye banging on our door and reception calling even though we had paid for another night and the lady at reception was very rude but the man was polite and apologised and gave us a free buffet breakfast meal the restaurant meals were over priced.

Review 37：House keeping staff were excellent and very friendly.The pools were very good and very large.what you see is what you get.the beds felt like you were sleeping on clouds and the tvs are brand new and the reception is perfect a safe in the room for you valuables big spacious room even though we had a room over the high way we could not hear the traffic the buffet breakfast was nice and the staff at the buffet were nice.

Review 71：The beds need to be dumped. They were saggy and had no support at all. The whole hotel needs a paint job and upgrade. The attendant at reception in the morning was not approachable so I did not feel like I could advise her of the beds.

Add the obnoxious staff and the below average facilities and I'd rather pay for quality next time. Review 94：We are aware that people are allowed to smoke on balconies in Queensland but it would be good to consider placing people who smoke and people who don't not directly next to one another. We prefer to not sleep with the air con on and leave the windows open but we had no choice on our one night here as the people who stayed next door were chain smoking on the balcony next to us. We did not raise it with the front desk as it was too late at night for us to be switching rooms when the people staying next to us started smoking. Dated décor but this didn't really matter to us. Mould stains in bathroom but otherwise very clean.

Review 96：Wifi wasn't for free, they need to upgrade the TVs to digital, they still had the old ones. They need to have small clothes horses for items that can't go into the dryers. Would've been handy to have had a microwave in the room.

We walked into the king room we had paid for and there was an overwhelming smell of mold. We asked for a new room and they gave us a twin room instead, with much worse mattresses/bedding, much smaller size, but the same smell was there to a lesser extent-- and they charged us the same price! The hotel was also in a bad neighborhood. Would not recommend.

Review 117：I did not like the bed, as I found it way too soft and you could feel where the board in the middle was put to make the bed a king size. I also did not like the television. It was an old analogue tv. I think this place would be a lot better if the bed and television were updated.

The wifi was not in the rooms and you had to keep getting codes from the staff to use it in the lobby. The wifi never really worked either. Very slow at best Parking is an issue especially since the hotel is not in a very safe area. Be very careful at night

Review 136：The king room with a pool view was awesome. The bed was super comfy and the room had everything you would need for a short stay. This hotel was awesome value for money and I would definitely stay again.

Review 137：It was the worst bed I had ever slept on. Felt like I was sleeping in a hammock it was so soft I sunk right in. If I had a camping mattress in the car I honestly would have gone and got it and slept on that. My body felt achy and awful the next day. Also noisy with traffic that could be heard from the room. And this hotel was advertised as having a spa but it was cold and never gets heated. Not many carparks either, was told by reception I would be lucky to get a park otherwise would need to park on the street.
