Review 1：The pressure of shower water is low.
Review 2：The guest house is just located in the Galle Fort, it's easy to get access to the shopping area and beach side. There are many options of nice restaurants near the guest house as well. A family is running the business, while the mistress is mainly in charge of it. She is a lovely lady.
Review 3：We can't really confirm the other reviews as our room was far from nice, mold on the ceiling, very short beds (1.85 or less) and even shorter bed sheets. The bathroom hadn't been cleaned properly and the toilet needs a new seat. Our room definitely needs a makeover. We could peak into another room which looked a bit nicer, but is next to the living room. Breakfast is served in front of the house facing the street. One of the worst value for money rooms on our trip.

Review 5：We arrived on Dec 30th and was told that the two double rooms that we booked were given to others, and the only room available for us was the family room for four people on the third floor. We accepted the family room with a discount offer, but it would definitely be better if we have two rooms. :)
Review 6：Our room on the third floor is very nice. Beautiful common terrace, aircon, window... All make this room a good experience at Sri Lanka. Breakfast was very nice, with good bread and juices. Good price also considering the high demand and high cost within Galle Fort. The location is great, just beside the hospital road.
Review 7：We killed a cockroach in the bathroom one night and had to move the trash bin outside because it attracted many ants even though there was no food or sugar. The room we stayed in fronted the main road so there was plenty of traffic noise (particularly from trucks and motorbikes). Other than that everything else was good.
Review 8：Thenu Rest is in a superb location inside Galle Fort, opposite the old Dutch hospital. The A/C and TV both worked fine, plus we slept well both nights. Breakfast was wonderful and very filling - fresh pineapple juice, fried egg, and a generous pile of thick toast with jam and butter.

Review 15：The breakfast was really good with the fresh pineapple juice. The beds are all comfortable (king size). The house is well maintained and very clean cause they mop the floor everyday even if we use slippers. The location itself is walking distance to Galle tourist spots.

Review 20：We were told when we got to Thenu Rest Guest House that they had overboooked and would put us into another Guest house near by. They said it was the same standard. the new place had only just been open for 4 days and did not have internet completed, but this was done while we were there. We were also taken back to Thenu Rest for breakfast the next morning.
Review 21：Tried to be accomadating in booking a car to take us to the airport. The cost was 9000, of which the Thenu Rest guy kept 2000 and the other 7000 was for the driver.
Review 22：The owners of Thenu Rest House are very hospitable and welcoming. We loved our stay here! While it was probably the most affordable of the places we stayed at, it was by far one of the highlights. The rooms are basic, but when you're in Galle Fort you're exploring, not staying in your room. The breakfast was delicious. Excellent value for money!

Review 24：Simple but cosy family run hotel in the Galle fort just a few minutes of walk from the Galle lighthouse. Many restaurants are in a walking distance as well. It was interesting to chat a bit with the owner of the hotel. He arranged us the transfer to the airport at a decent price. We had a good room with both fan and air-con. Hotel has a few shared balconies where you can chill out, have a drink or read. Wi-Fi was decent. We were also allowed to place our drinks in the hotel's fridge. Fresh pineapple juice that came with the complimentary breakfast was amazing :)

Room facility is basic but enough for staying. Generally speaking, this guesthouse is value of money and comfortable to stay, i will stay again if next time to come.
