Review 2：The staff make this bed and breakfast a very pleasant stay .. The dining room is very modern and clean . I'd recommend this b and b To any one wanting a central vasto location ..The wifi is very good very fast ..I'd stay here again .

Review 5：The old part of Vasto is a beautiful medieval town on a hillside overlooking the sea - wonderful views ... Tonino and Edda are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious !

Review 6：This small, sweet B&B is well situated in the historic center. It is perfectly clean, has good size bathrooms (with no bidets, unfortunately) easy to park nearby and great restaurants, shopping, PO and the morning farm market are steps away.

Review 14：The host Netta, is very attentive. The breakfast is very good. The location is OPTIMAL. The structure is tastefully decorated and the building in excellent condition.

Review 15：The first room we had, was very sticky and smelly and it was impossible to get fresh air in, because there was no real window we could use, also the wifi was rather weak in this room. This was the room with kitchen we originally booked and that we gladly switched for another w/o kitchen after two nights.

Review 16：The B&B is beautifully located in the historical center of vasto. There are many shops, bars and reastaurants in less than 10 min walking distance. The owners are super nice (e.g. let use change the room) and they would have been even nicer if we spoke at least a little Italian ;) And with the second room we were totally pleased!

Review 17：Our family room was clean, comfortable and had a touch of style, with a great location close to the local beach bus stop in the old town part of Vasto. Edda & Tonino were friendly hosts and Edda serves up a yummy traditional Italian breakfast (sweet pastry, coffee and fresh fruit and little extras) on the sun filled rooftop terrace each day. Edda does her best to speak English and can understand more than she can say. A lovely place to stay whilst exploring the delights of Vasto. Highly recommended!

The owners were so nice - I know a lot of reviews say similar things but they were so special and accommodating. Lovely people - I will stay here again. Review 19：The whole town shuts down during the day, so that can be a bit lonely. But it comes vibrantly alive at night when everyone is out promenading and enjoying fine local wines and gelato.

Review 20：Portanuova is a small family hotel, centrally located in the old city of Vasto, a mediaeval town spectacularly located on top of cliff overlooking the Adriatic Sea. I was there to visit the Palazzo D'Avalos, the castle where the D'Avalos family, my ancestors, ruled Vasto from around 1500 to 1800. The castle now contains fascinating museums, of classical art, of modern art, of old costumes, and an archaeological museum with artifacts from the site going back to the bronze age, the iron age, the ancient greeks, the romans, the byzantines, music and dance concerts, and more. It's a fascinating place to visit, and I highly recommend it!

Review 31：Edda and her husband were friendly and very helpful hosts during my stay. Edda was there to make breakfast each morning, and made lovely coffee. Thier B&B is quite beautiful, with a lovely rooftop sunroom where you can relax after a day of sightseeing. They are in a good location for exploring the beautiful old town, and for access to buses if you are not driving. They are a short taxi ride from Vasto S. Salvo railway station.

Review 36：I have stayed here three to four times over the past two years. It is, by far, the best deal in Vasto. In the historic center, with plenty of easy parking, you do not need to drive to visit any of the great restaurants, shops, the museum, promenade etc. The beds comfortable made up with cotton sheets, breakfast is good and the hosts are lovely.

Review 37：friendly host although communication was strained at times. Room was clean and large enough but made smaller by the presence of a cot we didn't request. Breakfast slightly disorganised and perhaps not worth the effort. B&B very central however and WiFi good

Review 38：The family were very welcoming. They spoke some English but appreciatedit when we tried out our pigeon italian.The room was very comfortable and we had the best night's sleep . They recommended the best places to eat - which were your traditional trattoria's cooking traditional food and typical local wine (beautiful), and all were very reasonably priced. They were also all within 5-10 minute walking distance from the b&b. The town is lovely were beautiful views of the sea and Vasto Marina.

Review 40：Spotlessly clean owner takes pride in the property, felt so nice to stay in, close to the centro of old town Vasto, parking close by only a few min walk and safe. Compliments on the standard, do visit Vasto old town definite recommend.

Review 41：The owner was having the room next to ours renovated which meant constant drilling noise such that I thought the party wall was going to fall in. Also, there was a baby cot in our room taking up valuable space. She should not have rented out our room till renovations were completed. Breakfast was late, we were not sure if owner was actually coming back in morning
