Review 1：Top class service from the whole family . Breakfasts are the best ever . Great views . Would caution that leaving your car in a location 1km away might not suit all needs . No choice as no spare parking at the Villa , also lane from major road is extremely narrow . Fine for us as family happy to provide transport to train station and restaurants in the evening .

Review 10：It is a pleasure to write this review. The owners of Villa Denise- Denise and Giovanni- are probably the nicest, kindest, and warmest people you will meet in your travels. I can’t say enough about how sweet they were! Giovanni picked us up at a nearby restaurant (which we also had dinner at and recommend) as the road to their villa was very tight and difficult to maneuver. Upon arriving to Villa Denise, we were met warmly by Denise and given a tour of the property, followed by some juice and fresh pastries. Throughout our stay, Denise stressed that she wants us to be happy and that if we need anything at all at any time, to let them know. Giovanni and their son Fabrizio offered to take us into town whenever we needed, since, like I mentioned above, the little road out was initially tough to get a hang of. The property itself was beautiful, relaxing, and clean. As there are only 3 rooms, you will likely feel as if you are pretty much the only guest(s). The breakfast in the morning was delicious, and Denise made some amazing homemade crepes, to go along with all of the other yummy offerings- so if she asks you if you want crepes, definitely take her up on her offer! On the morning of our flight, we had to get up very early and would be missing breakfast, so Denise packed us a little breakfast to go. Everything was perfect and you can tell the family loves opening their home to others- we didn’t feel like we were in a hotel, we felt as if we were visiting family! Thank you Denise and Giovanni.

Review 11：The Villa is located a couple of Km from the nearest town and walking is not really an option: you are reliant on a lift or using your own car

Review 12：Giovanni, Denise & Fabrizo couldn't have looked after us better, nothing was too much trouble. They were happy to drop us to the local town or train station anytime we wanted. Setting & Villa were fantastic with a panoramic view over the whole of the Bay of Naples. Breakfast was fantastic.

Review 13：The drive up to the property from the main road on the first night was a little difficult due to the narrow and steep road. Got easier once it had been accomplished a few times and as we got used to our hired car. There is alternative parking at bottom of little road by arrangement with the owners who will happily run you to and from your car so it isn't a practical problem.

Review 21：This B & B has stunning views and beautiful property including a pool located about 5 km outside of Sorrento. Denise the owner and her family were very hospitable. Our room was comfortable and tastefully decorated in a lovely European décor. The breakfast was delicious. Lots of variety. Property a little difficult to find however they will meet you at a specified location and escort you to the Villa via shuttle. An email with instructions will follow close to your arrival date. Ensure you have access to your email because we didn't and it created a small inconvenience. It all worked out in the end and we couldn't have been happier with our choice of B & B. One small note, they don't except credit cards at this time.

Review 37：The only downside - the internet doesn't work inside the rooms, as it's a 200 yr old villa, but you can get a strong connection near the pool. We didn't mind at all.

Review 38：illa Denise was FANTASTIC! 5 star accomodations and by far the highlight of our trip to Italy. Denise, the owner, and her family truly make you feel like you're a part of their family. We had a chance to get to know each member of the family, Inez, her beautiful baby, Patricio (the son of Denise) and Giovanni. Upon arrival we were greeted with fresh pear juice and homemade tiramisu - it was fantastic! The family is willing to drive you to the town of Vico Equense, as well as to the train station. We didn't have a car, so they literally drove us, happily, whenever we needed to go anywhere. The location of the B&B is perfect, as it's just a 10 minute ride to Sorrento and a 1-hr ride to Naples on the train. If you have a car, do NOT try to drive up to the B&B's door - call them and have them meet you, as the driveway is insanely narrow and straight uphill. The rooms were beautifully designed - the tile on the floors and in the bathroom is gorgeous. You definitely get to experience the "old world" elegant Italian decor. Denise and Inez organized a tour to Amalfi, Ravello and Positano for us through a local tour company. It was a great tour and only 10 people on it, which was nice. We also traveled to Sorrento and Pompeii on our own via the train - easy as pie! This B&B is a total treat and I'm reluctant to tell anyone about it because we hope it will remain as special as it is now! Don't bother staying in Sorrento or Amalfi, which are overrun by tourists. If you stay in Vico, you'll get a more authentic experience, while also being close to the major attractions. I can't rave about Villa Denise enough. The property is beyond gorgeous with stunning views. We spent 4 nights there and could have stayed longer. What a peaceful oasis!

Review 39：Villa Denise is a perfect place for relaxing and visiting the Costiera Amalfitana. Waking up in the morning with the Vesuvio's view is amazing and the day starts with the delicious sweets offered by the owners. They are always available and proud of this place (..they are right because it's wonderful).

Review 46：Read the positive reviews and booked for two nights, and the reviews are not exaggerating the marvelous experience. We loved everything - the breathtaking view, the fresh homemade nutella crepe on order, the tasty limoncello. Thank you Denise and Giovanni for everything!

Review 47：As the Villa is located at the end of a very narrow road, we were collected at a nearby Hotel and shown to a private car park were we left our hire car. This is just minutes from the Villa. We did not need our car from this moment on, as the owners were more then willing to drive us into town and collect us when we were ready to return. Villa Denise is a family run B&B set in outstanding surroundings, the views stretch across the Bay of Naples, taking in the extraordinary views of Mount Vesuvius. Upon arrival we were shown around the grounds of this breathtaking property and treated to some home made chocolate cake. The hospitality is second to none - no request was too great!! The facilities available in this 3 bedroomed guest house are like nothing you would imagine for such an intimate setting. While some people might feel the guest house is too small to afford space and privacy, you would be wrong; at no point did we feel our privacy was intruded. There is plenty of outside space to relax in and the rooms are sufficiently spacious. Breakfast is served daily, with the option of delicious home made crepes as well as a spread of fresh fruit, breads, meat, cheeses, yogurts etc and some more freshly baked cakes!! An ideal stay for some rest and relaxation but also close enough to the motorway to visit the nearby attractions of Pompeii, Vesuvius etc

Review 48：the villa is located on a mountain with amazing view. the family which hosted us was extremely nice and helpfull. the room was very clean and comfortable and breakfast was excellent. the raod to the villa is very!! narrow and it is practically impossible to reach the place with your car. nevertheless it didn't bother us at all. we parked the car in a private parking, which we didn't pay for, and the hosting family drove us to the parking place or even to our final destination. they were very punctual and nice and never let us feel that we bother them. we felt as we if we were treated by a family.

Review 56：Instead of excursion we stayed at the villa all day, almost all of it was ours. Beautiful garden, nice view, clean house, Denise's attentive family. We thank them for everything.

Review 58：We booked this as a "time out" weekend, but found that the inaccessibility of the villa rather limiting, especially seeing that only breakfast is provided. Our hosts, Denise and Giovanni went out of their way to accommodate our needs ie were happy to take us to and from the village, supply refreshments etc, but for those that wish to visit this lovely villa in the hills overlooking the beautiful bay of Naples, it is worthwhile knowing that your car needs to be parked at a different location to the villa, and that the closest town of Vico is too far to walk to. As mentioned previously Giovanni or his son are happy to drive you to, and collect you from the village (you need to phone them to be collected) The host's English is very limited, which was at times frustrating, but that was our problem rather than there's. Denise, Giovanni and their family are delightful and only want to please their guests.

We had high expectations before arriving, having read the other reviews, but fortunately Villa Denise didn't disappoint! The last evening Giovanie took us to a nice romantic view, super service you can only dream of. Shuttle service is needed since the road is super small, but they drive you to town or restaurant and pickup without a problem! Super holiday, our best stop in italy.

Review 88：It's hard to think of anything that could be improved, but perhaps if they provided a curtain to screen off the alcove with the bunk beds (presumably there to accommodate families), this would also block the light from a window in this area, which does not have either curtains or shutters.

Review 92：Villa Denise is VERY hard to find. We had a group of 5 in a van. The road is VERY narrow and we would never have been able to get up the steep incline. We had to go to another hotel and call them. They came to get us and we followed them to their parking facility, where we all got into their vehicle and road up with them. They definitely need to put a phone number with instructions to call upon arrival so you can be retrieved. We wasted about an hour and a half trying to find them.

The personal reception we received from Denise was just like we were family and the incredible pastry she served us upon arrival were to die for. The accommodation is first class, the views incredible the breakfasts were superb, the service was exceptional; all and all a memorable five days spent with Denise and her family.

We conversed with Denise, the owner, mostly in French, a language she was more comfortable with. If we ever go back to Vico Equense, we will definitely stay here again.

No request was too much and they were available at the drop of a hat to drive you where you needed to go and pick you back up. I mentioned in passing it was me and my husband's wedding anniversary and when we got back to our room from dinner that night they surprised us with homemade pastries and sparkling wine. We also asked to order pizza and have dinner on the beautiful patio and they went way above and beyond our expectations. Not only did they order the pizza for us but they put up a patio umbrella and set the table for us. They topped it off with homemade cannolis. When we return to Naples we will definitely return to Villa Denise! Thank you for your hospitality.

Review 107：We spent only one night in Villa Denise, but it was so good! The villa itself is beautiful, the view from the room was more than perfect. The room was perfectly clean, comfortable, full with nice furniture. We had a really calm and good sleep. The hosts drived us to the villa. We made it by our own car, but they offered us to take us with their car. This road is only for good drivers :) Denise was waiting for us with home-made special cookie and hot tea, which was really good after a long trip. We felt like at home. Fabiola and Fabrizzio took us to a nice restaurant in the city in the evening and they also took us back to home, which is also a five star service. The best experience was the breakfast! It was absolutely perfect. Home made sweets, toast, cheese, ham, fruits. Would recommend to everyone, who would like to spend a few days a bit far away from the city. The hosts will make the stay perfect.

Review 116：You had to park the car near the station, which meant you always had to rely on Giovanni and his family to give you lifts which they provided free and never complained about, but it did seem an imposition on them

Review 117：Denise Ines Giovanni Fabrizio Stefano could not do enough to help. Views of Vesuvius and Naples Bay from the bedroom window. Home made pastries and cakes every day for breakfast. Always clean and tidy. Eveything worked and clean modern bathrooms. Close to Vico Equense Rial Station which goes to Sorrento, Naples and Pompeii. Fabulous !!
