Reviews for Villa Odino

Review 1:We are using this hotel usually as sleep over place, and after every night which we spent in this hotel feeling is at least same or probbably better. Everything is as it should be. Compliments to the owner as well as manager and very best regards for the staff.

Review 2:I carry my own toiletries but I would like to have better towels.

Review 3:Very helful receptionist. Comfortable bed and room had outdoor area. Very dog friendly.

Review 4:Like many Italian hotels, they turn off the A/C in September. There was a warm spell, so it was too hot and my wife didn't sleep well.

Review 5:Very comfortable bed, quiet location, and very pleasant staff. Breakfast also very good, and some of the best cappuccino we had at any place we stayed in Italy.

Review 6:Staff can't do enough for you, very helpful, and very courteous. Hotel rooms very comfortable with everything you need. Ideal if you want a beautiful hotel but don't mind the train ride into Venice.

Review 7:A bit far from the Quarto D'Altino station but they provide a shuttle service at a reasonable rate.

Review 8:Nothing was too much for the wonderful staff. The location is idyllic and an antidote to hectic Venice.

Review 9:We would have liked to have used the swimming pool before breakfast but couldnt as was been cleaned - It would have been better if signage had reflected this (signs indicated pool available when it was not). Not many restaurants in the area and some were shut for annual holidays

Review 10:Rooms, Breakfast, availabilty of free bikes.

Review 11:-the quality of food at the villa's bar is very poor -the pool tends to be monopolised by large numbers of children, so the villa should provide a separate pool for them -the pool area gets extremely noisy during the day and people are allowed to smoke there and at the bar -some of the spaces need redecoration -the single room has a skylight window, which does not seem to be indicated when booking it. (It is therefore too expensive for accommodation offered) -Quarto d’Altino is not a very interesting town, so you need to travel to Venice, or make trips to the countryside or to nearby archaeological sites

Review 12:-the breakfast is excellent, though the quality of coffee is poor -the pool and its surrounding area are beautiful -the interior and exterior spaces at the villa are very nice -the location of the villa is quiet and convenient for short day trips to Venice -convenient shuttle service to the train station

Review 13:Beautiful rooms, nice pool area and very friendly staff. It is not far from the airport and it is just a short train ride from the center of Venice. Perfect that the hotel has a pick up service at the train station.

Review 14:The hotel was very well-kept and a pleasure to stay at. The staff were helpful and very accommodating. It was our first visit to Italy and staying at Odino was an excellent introduction to the country and the people.

Review 15:None

Review 16:Peaceful, after a day in Venice, taxi to train, could not fault, perfect family run hotel. Can only improve with the addition of new restuarant, provided prices do not match those in Venice

Review 17:Staff was OK but didn't offer to help with luggage or anything (OK since I usually just do it myself, but odd not to offer).

Review 18:It was a short trip to the airport in the AM as we had planned. The suite was fine, nothing special but comfortable. We walked to a nearby restaurnat for dinner, which was maybe an 8/10 - not bad.

Review 19:Wi-Fi did not work in our room which was in the annex. Room was too warm. Front deck said they turned it down, but we could not tell any difference.

Review 20:Location was good. Enjoyed using the bikes to ride into town.

Review 21:Restuarants limited in general area.

Review 22:Everything....staff was wonderful, breakfast plentiful and presented beautifully and our superior deluxe room was spacious, comfortable and.nicely decorated. The family took great pride in making our stay a nice experience

Review 23:WiFi was slow

Review 24:The rooms, the cleanliness the staff were exceptional. Very good night's sleep, quiet. We are already recommending the Villa to friends and if we do visit the area again, we plan to go back.

Review 25:Strenght off wifi could be better

Review 26:Staff was very friendly and helpfull; excellent breakfast buffet; comfortable room (in the annex, but decorated in " villa style"

Review 27:nothing....

Review 28:We liked the relaxed atmosphere in this hotel and the attentive care of the staff. They helped us with good advsise for our day trip to Venice and recommended a good Italian restaurant next door. Correct prices .

Review 29:nothing to dislike, we will be returning

Review 30:one of the best places we have stayed and easily the best breakfast ever, free bikes were excellent and 25 mins train ride into the heart of Venice. we loved this place and all the staff were excellent. great to get out of the city and take a dip in the pool. should really be a 5 star hotel

Review 31:Too remote. Nothing nearby so you need a car to go out. Couldn't check in until 16.00 then out by 10. No bar area but reception will bring you a drink - no point really if there's no communal bar area to drink it in. No restaurant in hotel. We were told the hotel's restaurant San Nicolo is 4Km away (4Km not mentioned on the web site). They provide transport but on requesting it, receptionist shrugged and said she didn't know where the driver was nor how long he may be. Very unhelpful. We walked (in torrential rain with no umbrella and I only had sandals!) to the nearby hotel & then to Odino local restaurant 600m; but they both had weddings on so fully booked & we had to walk 1.5Km to the town - not pleasant in the rain. For 3 people we wanted a double & single room but due to a mix up, we had to pay extra when we arrived to upgrade to 2 doubles because there were no single rooms left. Local ghost town is dull, no choice of restaurants - found only 1 pizza place in the town. Approx 40Km to Venice but I'd advise staying in Venice if you want to go there; we stayed in Venice & it was cheaper & a much better experience than this residential area. We also stayed in the Prosecco region 30mins north which was better than this area

Review 32:Rooms are nice. Breakfast good. 40 minutes drive from the airport so convenient for a last night stop off if you have an early flight. Pool looked OK but it was raining and regardless check-in was after 16.00 so you won't get chance to use it if you stay for one night

Review 33:nothing

Review 34:very nice place, near to Venice/Padova/Treviso. The owner family is very nice. Everything was very clean (rooms, pool, etc) and we could relax a lot. 3 days of fantastic relaxation.

Review 35:From the start to the end of our 4 night stay, the staff at the Odinowent out of their way to ensure that we had a pleasant stay. The positives were: - excellent pool and not overcrowded (we were there in July and there was 12 people max around the pool at any one time) - quiet location, great for walks - free use of bicycles - friendly staff - shuttle bus to train station for only 3 eur pp each way (you can also buy your train tickets into Venice at the hotel desk for 3 eur each way) - free WIFI throughout hotel - excellent breakfast - restaurants nearby - snack food available (pizzas were lovely) We'll definitely stay here again when we visit Venice next time.

Review 36:Sound insulation could be better. Minor problems with the flush in bathroom.

Review 37:An idyllic villa in the picturesque Italian town of Quarto d'Altino is located just 20 minutes from Venice by train. Excellent location in the garden by the river. Gorgeous breakfast, swimming pool, cozy atmosphere and friendly staff. Free parking in just near by. Parking in the town is also free. Spacious rooms. There are several local outlets and designers outlet is 20-30km away We had a view from the windows of the patio and garden. We’ve got only the best memories. We will be pleased to be back again.

Review 38:There is no bar or central area. They will bring you a drink wherever you want it but it lacks a social hub! Also the area is stunning right next to the river and it is very easy to get into venice but don't stay here if you don't want to be home by 11 at latest and there are no bars/cafe/shops in walking distance. My advice if you are going to see venice stay in venice.

Review 39:The hotel was very clean and the pool was great to have as it was very hot when we were there. Oh and the spritz's!

Review 40:Gave us the smallest room. Inflexible. Room smelled of bleach. Staff hard to find at checkout.

Review 41:Proximity to airport

Review 42:Great location,helpful stuff and ex.map of Venice.Rich breakfast:)).

Review 43:Serene setting in the country side away from the tourists.

Review 46:Noisy airco.

Review 47:The quiet surrounding, very nice room, excellent breakfast.

Review 48:Amazing hotel, excellent breakfast and warm hospitality by the crew. Thank you!

Review 49:hospitality, kind stuff, perfect accomodation

Review 50:Very quiet place, family atmosphere and great place to rest.

Review 51:They gave me their best of help when I found out that I lost my car key. The best receptionists work in this hotel! I thank you so much!

Review 52:Friendly and helpful staff. Great location near to airport but peaceful. Clean and well equipped. Lovely pool.

Review 53:Seems a touch mean charging 2 euro for a 2 minute shuttle to the train station

Review 54:Excellent pool, bed & breakfast. Fantastic value for money.

Review 55:Everything was great... I cant wait to come back there again...

Review 56:Restaurant not open, nearby restaurant service poor, food good

Review 57:Lovely pool, very spacious and comfortable room, great breakfast!

Review 70:Breakfast Pool Service Chilled out

Review 71:Rooms a little small. Owners a little stiff.

Review 73:Can't really stay up for a drink as it does disturb guests since it is small

Review 74:Great staff; comfy beds, charming, the pool

Review 75:-internet could be faster

Review 76:-the whole set up; -friendly atmosphere; -excellent breakfast

Review 77:No nice eating areas nearly. And far away from Venice.

Review 78:Comfy room. Good coffee and breakfast. And above all very polite and helpful staff.

Review 79:Great hotel, charming atmosphere, 5 star service both at the reception and breakfast/room service. Enjoyed a lot a stay!

Review 80:Amazing hotel Beautiful surroundings Very helpful staff Great access to Venice yet out of the way in a peaceful area Very comfortable large rooms

Review 81:The bedding was ugly.

Review 82:The pool is amazing. Everything is done with no expense spared, the furniture, the bathroom, the decorations. Wonderful!

Review 83:Breakfast was average.

Review 84:Room comfortable, bathroom amenities very nice. Pool nice, well maintained. Parking free, and some was covered.

Review 85:Nice hotel, beautiful room, very nice staff and wonderful breakfast. Close to highway.

Review 86:Not a thing.

Review 87:Everything. The staff from the owner to the cleaner were brilliant. Free wifi with no strings excellent. Pool excellent. Loungers excellent. Breakfast one of the best we have had in italy. Room beautiful with bath and windows that open to the garden and the river, beautiful. Can't praise this enough. Location to Venice good with shuttle bus to station of required. Will definitely go back one day

Review 88:We were looking for a place close to the airport and Villa Odina was within 20kms of Marco Polo airport. The staff was very friendly, the breakfast was quite substantial, fresh fruit, cereal, cakes, eggs, toast, cheese. They had a simple lunch menu comprising sandwiches and salad. Dinner options (other than the seafood restaurant and a nearby pizza place) were limited. You will need a car to get to Villa Odina, and once here, there isn't a lot to do, but if like us, you are looking to spend the night before catching a flight, it is a good option to consider.

Review 89:This is a great place if you want to combine a city break with relaxation. The staff are exceptionally helpful and speak good English. You can buy your train tickets at reception and get the shuttle bus to the station or allow 30 mins for a steady walk. There is a good choice for breakfast which was delicious. All in all a lovely hotel and great value, would recommend.

Review 90:Villa Odino was fantastic on all counts. The Villa is managed by a lovely family who are friendly and efficient in every way. The location is a short way from the railway station and there is a shuttle service from the Villa to the station. We loved every moment of our 4 day stay and would definitely return. Free Wi-Fi was an added perk!

Review 91:No proper hangers in the wardrobe.

Review 92:Staff, location, breakfast in the front yard in the morning is priceless. Free bikes to explore the surroundings. Location and staff is superb!

Review 93:You need a car if you stay here.

Review 94:Good location, off the beaten track, but close enough to Venice. Rooms are spacious and romantic, breakfast is good value for money.

Review 95:We were upgraded to a suite. Very friendly, nice staff. Tips for nice tours besides visiting Venice. Wonderful service. Easy trip to Venice via train.

Review 96:The facilities are lovely, breakfast was good, especially cappuccini, and the proximity to the train station is good. Also liked that we could buy train tickets at the reception desk. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Review 97:You do need a car but that is fine if are traveling on In the area after seeing Venice as we were.

Review 98:Charming hotel in the country near the Venice Airport with easy train access to visiting Venice. Reasonably priced for the area especially if compared to staying in Venice. Free parking.

Review 99:I wish they had a restaurant on site. They do snacks 24/7 and they are fine but I would have preferred a restaurant. There is however a first class pizzaria within 10 minutes walk and they do everything from fish, steak, pasta through to good old pizzas. Very reasonably priced and excellent service.

Review 100:The hotel is beautifully furnished, the rooms are spacious with excellent bathrooms. The staff couldn't be more friendly and helpful. The hotel is perfectly situated for a holiday in Venice , with the trains running frequently into Venice. And the breakfasts ....... absolutely superb.

Review 101:The location is perfect for visiting Venetia which can be reach easily by train. The hotel is clean with an elegant design, the staff is friendly and the breakfast is one of the best that you can find in Italy.

Review 102:Everything was perfect - facilities are romantic, well equiped and nice, staff is very kind and supportive, breakfest was delicious and good selection of different food etc. This is definetely the place to return once again...

Review 103:Our room did not have any view but since we had a special price no complaints about this. However, we couldn't leave the window open since there was a staircase right in front of it and the turned the AC off frequently.

Review 104:Excellent location for trip to Venice. Train Station with free parking nearby. Staff very friendly and helpful. Great value for the money.

Review 105:The service was excellent. We had to take a very early flight out of Venice. We did not expect to get breakfast but we were offered coffee and croissants. The room was very nice and very clean. The pool was very relaxing.

Review 106:The location is perfect for visiting Venetia which can be reach easily by train. The hotel is clean with an elegant design, the staff is friendly and the breakfast is one of the best that you can find. For evening, you can find several places where to eat, including the restaurant recommended by the hotel.

Review 107:We chose this hotel because it's close to the Airport and it was a good option if you are driving. The staff is very helpful and kind, good breakfast, wireless available without charge, good room and you can swim a bit in the pool if you like and it's warm. My wife, daughter and I enjoyed to stay in the hotel and we had the opportunity in go in the small villages around to have dinner and get some good ice cream

Review 108:The pool was excellent and as our stay was brief with a young baby, it provided us with all the facilities we needed and we could relax. Staff were excellent.

Review 109:The only comment I can make here is perhaps there could be more of a choice on the snack menu but that's all I could think of. Everything was amazing.

Review 110:Amazing staff, very family orientated, staff couldn't do enough for you. Gorgeous place and lovely little pool very family friendly. I loved it would go back in a shot. Breakfast was wonderful xx

Review 111:Don't reserve standard room in the upper level. It is small room with window situated in upper area of wall and therefore there is no possibility of view to the garden. Other room has balcony or normal windows.

Review 112:Hotel is in quite location. Breakfast was good and tasty. There is a outside swimming pool with deck-chairs. It is a ideal rest area.

Review 113:The hotel is located a short distance away from Venice, just 20 min by car or 25 min by train. Very quiet and green area give some rest after noisy and crowded Venice. The hotel's territory includes a swimming pool, a small garden and very nice sitting area. The breakfast is served also at the garden. The staff is very pleasant and helpful. The room was very big and clean with good wifi signal. Recommended for those who visiting Venice and appreciate good and quiet hotel at very good price.
