Review 1：The position of the hotel and the comfort of my room. The breakfast had a very wide choice from eggs & bacon to fresh fruit and everything in between. And of course in this area the espresso was perfetto.
Review 2：What a grand old hotel! We loved our beautifully furnished room and spacious bathroom. All the ornate furnishings in the hotel were lovingly chosen and placed!! Our terrace overlooked both Mt Vesuvius and the Bay of Naples...stunning views!
Review 3：Good location, close to Circumvesuviana station and buses so very easy to reach Sorrento, Pompei etc. Comfortable room with balcony & view over the pool to the sea. Higher rooms probably had an even better view - well worth paying the extra. A slightly old fashioned feel which we really liked.
Review 4：Vico Equense is a lovely little town, with stunning views over the Bay of Naples to Vesuvius. It's also great for Herculaneum, Pompeii and some lovely boat and bus journeys from Sorrento. The Aequa suited me fine: a bit tired, but that was part of its charm. My room (113), was noisy - it overlooks the main street - but it was a minor inconvenience, as the staff were wonderful and the views from the main terrace were marvellous. The pool, however, although a benefit, could really do with some warmer water!

Review 13：WiFi doesnt work in the rooms at all. It works by the pool and terrace but very slow. Hotel must be renovated. The rooms look very very very old with old furniture. It has some charm but it must be renovated. Breakfast selection very poor.
Review 14：Location is great. Close to the train station and few stops by train to Sorrento. View from the hotel and terrace is amazing, you can clearly sea Vesuv. Ask for the sea facing room, the views are beautiful. Pool is great, big in a nice garden. Pool looks like some other hotel if you compare with the rooms.

Review 53：I stayed as part of a business trip but was made extremely welcome from the start. All the staff were very kind and helpful. The hotel organised a transfer for me. Dinner and breakfasts were good and the service friendly and professional. The views are wonderful and there is a pool and extensive gardens. The location is ideal for local transport and amenities.
Review 54：The hotel is massively outdated and in some disrepair. The beds were theworst of all our hotels in Italy. There is a bar, but the hotelreceptionist has to double duty as the bartender so it's mildlyawkward ordering your drinks at the front desk. You also have to driveto the next town over or to Sorrento to get to a decent beach. If youare driving, parking in difficult along the entire coast, make sure toput your mirrors in or lose them!
Review 55：The small town of Vico Equense was easily accessible by train or car andon the outskirts of the famed coastal drive to amalfi/positano. Theview from our room was beautiful and overlooking the ocean and vesuvio.
Review 56：Breakfast was very meagre at times. It was served from 7.30 to 10am but we arrived down at 9.30 twice and there was little left and staff already clearing items away.
Review 57：We were here in September and in general I would say Vico Equense is a jewel in the crown of the Sorrento Coast. Only 2 stops from Sorrento on the train, easy access to Pompeii and Naples etc. The twon itself is small but lovely with plenty of Bars and restaurants and the scenery across the bay of Naples is simply outstanding. The Aequa is ideally located in the centre of town and close to the train station and has wonderful views of Mount Vesuvio and the bay of Napoli. The pool is excellent and is kept very clean. Rooms are simple but a nice size and the hotel has a lift.
Review 58：My room was a bit dingy - it smelt of stale smoke, the decor was very dated and it looked like it could really benefit from a fresh coat of paint. The breakfast was not very good and the restaurant was over-priced.
Review 59：The public areas of the hotel were wonderful - especially the pool and outdoor seating area. The staff were exceptional. Close to the train station and town centre, and yet my room had an ocean view! Quiet and peaceful.
