Reviews for Picton's Waikawa Bay Holiday Park and Park Motels

Review 1:Being asked to pay a bond to have the use of any pots, pans, dishes or cutlery. Not much point having a kettle and toaster in the room if there are no cups, plates or cutlery, is there? Just a couple of cups would mean you could make a cup of tea (provided you had tea bags and milk, of course.)

Review 2:Nice location close to a marina, a little way out of town. Lots of really good bedding for a minimal hire fee. Camp facilities - pool and play area - good for children. Very reasonable rates.

Review 3:The staff are exceptional: really welcoming and friendly. Facilities great. Nice artworks around the holiday park too. Overall, excellent value for money. When I come to Picton again, I will stay here for sure.

Review 4:There are too many rules on the wall which makes the place sound like a military camp. Extra charge of $10 if you don't wash your dishes which I have never seen before! I like to know they are washed properly and that does not mean by the last tenant. Not good value for money. expensive and small. Can't put jug an toaster on at same time because of the power!

Review 5:We arrived by the ferry after the official check-in time. The ladies at the desk were kind although there was quite a gueue. We slept in the cabin, which looked small but there was everything what we needed. Moreover, it was warm inside although it was a storm outside. We really appreciated that!

Review 6:We loved the pool and the comfort of the cabin. We were given the opportunity to choose and it made a big difference to how much we enjoyed our stay. It was great to be able to view the other options for next time.

Review 7:I was shocked when I saw a bunk bed which is 50 cm lower from the top of cabin and they said the cabin is suitable for three adult !!! How that person can go up and down in the bunk bed , God knows!!!

Review 8:Quirky holiday park with lots of little nik naks hidden all over the place to amuse you. Location close to harbour which was lovely to wander along. Clean and friendly.

Review 9:Oven had not been cleaned, playground facilities run down. Further out from Picton than would have liked. Average compared to other facilities that we had stayed in the South Island.

Review 10:The weather

Review 11:The room was a little dark but honestly not terrible.

Review 12:The staff was above and beyond great! Really took the extra mile to make sure we were all comfortable and well informed of activities around town and the area.

Review 13:Non. 无

Review 14:Clean, quiet, convenient! The host is really really nice and sweet. Thanks for the blanket and cooker. He told us the nearest interests, and the good view along the sea. He also remind us about the weather when we live and told us to safely drive. We will live here again next time we go to Picton.

Review 15:Too far to walk to the toilets from the cabins.
