Resort Village Mar da Luz sells fast on our site. Mar da Luz offers elegant accommodations between Praia da Luz and Burgau villages, 3.7 miles from the seafront city of Lagos. It includes an outdoor swimming pool and free sauna.
Apartments are decorated in a modern style and have air conditioning and a satellite TV. Some apartments have their own private swimming pool and garden.
The fully equipped kitchen has a washing machine and a dishwasher. It features all the necessary utensils to prepare meals. Alternatively, guests can head to Praia da Luz, located 3 k away, and enjoy a multitude of restaurants, bars, and supermarkets.

Review 1：Beds aren't very comfortable

Review 2：Really well equipped apartment, especially for cooking. Private outdoor pool is a huge plus - we rarely used the communal pool as a result. Gardens are well kept and really clean apartment with nice interior. Would stay here again.

Review 3：Absolutely lovely! We had a 2 bedroom appartment with garden en swimming pool. There were two bathrooms. The kitchenfurniture is brandnew and the whole appartment is super clean. There is wifi acces in the appartment so that was superb.

Review 4：Arrogant owner, unpleasant reception. Don't expect too much regarding private pool and garden - the terrace is bigger than pool and garden together.

Review 6：The double bed was problematic. we both weren't able to sleep on it for a full night since we woke up with pulled muscles. One more big disadvantage- there is no WiFi reception in the rooms at all. Also, need to take into consideration that you will have to rent a car if you want to get anywhere.

Review 10：We booked the apartment for the view and the location. The location was great. But only the upper floor apartments have the nice view. We got one at the groundfloor. Although all the upper floor apartments seemed to be empty at the time, they would not swap our appartment. They are advertising free bikes, but there are no bikes.

Review 12：Kitchen did not have any containers to use in for cooking in the oven or microwave - for foodies this was a huge let down. no BBQ facilities. Neighbours smoked stinking cigars, yet the building is supposedly "smoke-free"!?! I slipped and fell down stairs in wet rainy weather and had the bruises for a week - staff did not blink or move a little finger to help me or check I was okay, even though they saw it all happen. Gym facilities not in working order. Sunloungers advertised on site and in photo's are not available in apartment.

Nice size apartment - even though we had a lot of rainy weather we did not feel cooped in - great view.Nice facilities to use - gym and sauna etc (but unfortunately half of equipment not in working order). Review 16：Only one small thing, the plasticky mattress protector has a hospital feel and every time you move it's so loud you wake yourself up as well as the person next to you. That needs to go! We could have easily taken it off though...

Review 17：The location is very good, near Luz which is a lovely little town, the complex is not huge which is good, the apartment itself is amazing, tasteful decor, excellent amenities all round, home feel, having your own pool is just pure luxury. Even though it is self catering there are still a couple of cleaning days per week with towel change which is perfect.

Resort was quiet and peaceful eventhough we stayed during peak season, really relaxing break andfacilities kept children entertained! We didn't have a car but ataxi to Luz was only 8 to 10 euros.

Review 22：I specifically asked for daily housekeeping/cleaning service in advance, and was told that would be available, free of charge. However, when I inquired during the stay I was told that was not possible, and we had to buy our own cleaning supplies, dishwasher soap, etc. if we had been informed in advance, we would have arrived more prepared.

Review 23：I liked the apartment style since we were staying with our children and a set of their grandparents. The common area and balcony were accommodating. It was also nice to have access to the common pools.

Review 24：outdoor pool was freezing cold - receptionist was not very friendly - had to pay 4€ for a broken wine-glass (ikea!! there you get 6 glasses for 4€) - too many rules: no food or drinks near the pool, not allowed to dry your beach-linnnen on the ceiling of your own balcony etc… - bad wifi, the apartments have no wifi, only available at the reception - last point: very bad beds!

Review 35：A car is a must. Only parking was very difficult in the garage (very small).

Review 36：Good value for money. The apartment we stayed in was great. We had a lot of space and it was well equipped (we only missed a washing machine). It's less than 10 minutes drive to the center of Luz and the beach. About 25 minutes drive to Lagos.

Review 44：Awesome stay at this lovely resort. A little bit of paradise just a 5 minute drive from Luz and Burgau. We had ground floor apartment 001 with its own pool and south west facing garden. There is also a communal salt water pool on this prestigious development and a massive further pool just a 10 minute walk away. The heated internal pool and spa must be an oasis of luxury for the winter. Will definitely be returning !
