Review 1：Hotel was SO big it took 10 min to get to lobby from our room Our room was tucked in a shaded alcove.... No sunshine on the balcony No wifi in our room 10 min walk to front desk/ exit

Review 3：For the price, I thought the hotel could have done a bit more. They ran out of towels for the pool, they gave us a room that only slept four when we booked for five, and wifi was only available in the lobby. It's was also a 20 minute walk to the main square/beaches.

I still wonder why inan apartment for 2 there was only 1 wine glass. Mystery ;) WiFi on the4th floor during the day very poor and only possible to connect from thebalcony - sth to work on. In the end those are just very little thingsand pointed suggestions for the hotel that improved could make adifference in the future.

Review 19：Premium Studio Apartment is fantastic for a couple, I suggest yourequest an upper storey room for a better view and more peace (lessnoise) during the midday stay at the hotel. Bed of an excellent comfort,loads of free space around the apartment and the balcony, great lookingbathroom with a good bath & shower + built-in hair-dryer and all theessentials provided. Small but nice and sufficient in space kitchen withbasic and very practical cooking equipment. Cleaning room service alwaysdid the good job. People at the reception and around the place verynice, friendly and helpful. Thank you very much for making this weekstay so smooth. Definitely will be coming back someday.

Review 20：As a young couple there were too many families with young kids. Although it was forbidden to reserve beds all families were doing it each morning and it was difficult to get on each dayb

Review 24：Because such a large setup it is quite anonymous. Some snack bar staff obliging enough though some could have better attitude to guests. They say they have a policy where y people are not permitted to reserve sunbeds with their towels but they don't enforce it at all!! We spent a lot if time at beaches in the wider area but when we were there we saw no instances of this policy being enforced!! Also WIFI is very inconsistent and annoying. Would prefer to pay for a wifi service that works everywhere.

Review 25：Daily room service meant apartment was kept very clean. Apartment itself of a high standard and complex is well run. Pools are good. Food at restaurant snack bar wasn't bad and reasonable value. All in all a good family place if somewhat lacking character.

Review 26：Breakfast setup was not good. Long lines in a cramped room to get coffee/tea/juice from a machine. Same small room used for fruit and cutlery and crammed with people. Lounge by reception was dark and the only place you could get the Wifi.

Staff were very helpful and moved us as soon as they could, but it would have been nice to be notified about the upgrade in advance so that our initial upset upon arrival could have been avoided.

Review 34：Very poor WIFI in rooms. You have to get up before 8 to get a bed by the pool as they are all taken early and the staff do nothing about it. Very, very annoying.

Review 37：Liked being in Lagos vs. Selema or other smaller towns. It was fun having the energy of the old town plus the beaches and other activities right there. Aqua Luz was nice because they offered a decent pool and spacious rooms. The staff was very nice and helpful.

Review 38：There is a 4ft drop at the very far end of the pool bar terrace. So ensure children don't run off unsupervised in that area; or go wandering there yourself after a few beers!

Review 41：Been to lagos 3 times and this was my first time staying at the aqualuz. Lovely grounds and facilities. Very well kept. Newly refurbished rooms are very comfy and great home away from home. Amazing swimming pool. We will be coming back again for another stay.

Review 42：the equipment in the kitchen were basic. in our apartment water were dropping down from the sink into trash pin, however it was fixed very timely. So it was not an issue for us afterwards.

The hotel area itself its quite big, so a good walk from one end to the other. Our electricity went off 3 times during our stay, which was due to the switch being tripped - and had to get maintenance to call each time, which was annoying.

Review 47：Facilities in the room were great - we had a one bedroom apartment with lots of space and great facilities (fully equipt kitchen!). Rooms were clean and quiet - but we were the last room on the floor, so away from the noise. Very lovely and helpful staff, with the exception of one member who was very unhelpful. Pool area clean and spacious - lots of sun loungers. Got to check in early, at 12pm so that was fantastic! It was great to have a good gym facility too - not what you usually get for a hotel.

Review 49：Stayed here in early june with my parents. The hotel is really clean, pool area is spotless, and rooms are tidied everyday, new towels etc. The wifi in the reception and pool area is perfect, a little weaker in rooms though. About a 15 min walk into the old town and shorter to nearby beaches. Theres a spar and a lovely coffee shop/bar down the hill towards the oldtown. The hotel organised a taxi to bring us to airport for €75 which is cheaper than getting our own taxi (which we did from airport to lagos) cost €95 so call hotel first. Really enjoyed our stay and would definately recommend this hotel!

Review 52：Instead of a refurbished new rooms I was given one of the old suites; no WiFi, small (22") TV. And it was icy cold, so no one cared about pre-heating. The famous shrugs "Não posso fazer nada" (I can't do anything about it) could make you walk away, weren't it for the smiles and the kindness of some of the staff.

It's not very close to the sea but its situated in the middle, between the seaside and the center of town so it's a good base point specially if you have a car. Excellent staff. Has a little entertainment room with a pool table and some games. Very large free parking!

Wi-Fi was very poor had a free and pay but both are very poor. Landry space had on old wash machine looks like a yrs old machine and dryer also just one and very old. this is not comfort

Review 77：If you are light sleeper and staying in a street level, the traffic noise may interrupt your sleep. Somehow e.g. insulation on rooms window was very poor, even the people passing by on the corridor and talking with normal voice, could be easily heard. We stuffed some paper into windows lock, which a bit decreased the noise. We are use to travelling with ear plugs and the noise mainly bothered a while at late in the night, so this wasn't a huge issue to us. But if you have a trouble sleeping, you maybe get better sleep in upper floors.

Review 124：Listed on the booking.com website and on the property's own website were the following: Apartment facilities: Balcony, Pool view, TV, Telephone, Radio, Satellite Channels, Safety Deposit Box, Air Conditioning, Desk, Seating Area, Tile/Marble floor, Shower, Bath, Hairdryer, Free toiletries, Toilet, Bathroom, Tea/Coffee Maker, Kitchenette, Refrigerator, Microwave, Kitchen, Dining area, Kitchenware, Wake-up service, When I enquired with the receptionist as to where the lock for the safety deposit box was I was told that it was for rent. When I stated that it was listed on their website as a facility in the room, I was shouted at by the receptionist that it was "the same as going to the snack bar, you have to pay!!!" If this was stated on the website as being for rent, I would have no problem paying and it only cost €15 per week but as this is listed as included in all rooms it annoyed me, and to be shouted at by any member of staff really annoyed me!!! She has to be the rudest person working in the hospitality industry that I have ever met. There was also no sign of a kettle or a radio anywhere in the apartment, we had to go looking for the plates, pots and pans - which we found in the TV cabinet - sure where else would you put them? The beds have to be the hardest I have ever had to sleep on and the sofa wasn't much better. The property is in need of some TLC and some new furniture as it has well passed it's use by date!
