Review 1：The second living room/kitchen was a bit redundant as access was difficult but that didn't matter as there were only 3 of us and so we didn't really need it anyway.

Review 2：The access to the beautiful beach was a real bonus. Colette on the desk could not have been more helpful. Nothing was too much trouble

Review 3：I can't remember ever staying in such a dump. The bay view apartment should not even be advertised as part of this property. It is not located with the rest of the apartments but several streets away from the beach. It is run down. There was a sour smell in the apartment and occasionally the waft of sewer from the toilet. Across the street is a restaurant where live music is played late into the night. Closed windows don't block the noise. It also is two flights up from the street. No lift. And certainly no help from the folks in the office.

Review 4：The property is a bit dated in places but still in very good or excellent condition. The Atlantic water is absolutely freezing even at the end of August! Has nothing to do with the property I know but if it wasn't for this we'd go back without hesitation.

Review 5：The location and how close it is to the beach is unrivalled. Waking up every morning and eating breakfast in the balcony was a daily ritual. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and the promenade walk is very nice in the evening. AC in the bedroom was really useful on the hotter nights.

Review 6：From the time of booking Luz Beach apartments, both Claire and Collette were most helpful, answering all our queries and giving lots of advice. Bay view apartment which has an extraordinary view out two balconies, is conveniently between the beach and the local supermarket - 5 mins walk. Also convenient to all restaurants in Praia da Luz. The apartment has a homely feel about it with parquet flooring and all items needed should you decide to cook during your holiday, including a dishwasher. Also included are sun lounges and beach parasols.

Review 10：Location, location, location, these lovely apartments are almost right on Luz beach - it was lovely to go to sleep with the sound of the waves and breakfast on the balcony just looking out to the beach...magical. So good in fact we're going back again in September!

Review 11：There were a couple of partner restaurants that offered "special prices" for breakfast. They are not worth the trip. I also made the mistake of booking the studio apartment with a sofa bed. The apartment was great but the sofa bed was really not comfortable and as a result I did not sleep well at all.

Review 12：The apartments are fronting the beach and are only 10 meters or so from the sand. Brilliant location that is not overly priced. One of the owners is on hand throughout the day to offer advice and assist with booking itinery for your trip.

Review 52：They didn't have any plates in the room; just bowls. Also, my biggest complaint would be that I arrived on Firday afternoon and there was noone on staff from 5:00 pm on until 9:30 am Monday morning. There were a few things that I didn't know that I needed before she left on Friday (like more coffee pods, directions on how to work the air conditioner). This wouldn't be an inconvenience if I were to return to the apartments, but for this trip, it did provide a slight inconvenience. I had to bother a neighbor to assist me in getting my air conditioning started after sleeping through a VERY hot night. Like I said, it was a small annoyance but one that if you are planning to stay, you need to prepare for (no staff on the weekend).

Review 53：The location was amazing and the amenities for the most part were very nice. We had plenty of towels, beach toys for the kids and even an umbrella that we could use at the beach. It was also very clean. I stayed in a studio with my 2 young daughters and we had plenty of room. The view - was amazing! There was a great little cafe just below that served a wonderful food at a great value. When I arrived the woman was very helpful in finding me a mechanic as I was having issues with my car.

Review 60：Our visit was absolutely phenomenal! Naomi is so sweet and helpful (she basically runs the place) and the location is beyond amazing. Luz is so family friendly with the beach, carousel, family friendly eating- even the local taverns offer 'kiddie cocktails and children's games' so mom and dad can relax. Everything is within walking distance. I parked my car for 6 days and never needed it! I desperately hope we get to return soon- we never wanted to leave!

Review 61：It was not close to any historic sites. You need a car or have to be willing to pay 11 - 12 euros each way to go into the main part of Lagos.

We could not believe how spacious the apartment was: feltlike being in a house with private entrance, enclosed and privateterrace downstairs with pic-nick tables and long chairs, line to dryyour laundry.. So organized: you could stay in that place for weeks!Upstairs is huge, with a well equipped kitchen, with so many detaileditems for example a cooler to bring your dinner to the beach! Upstairsyou have a balcony with table and chairs, also two couches, dinner tableetc! It is a great place in a lovely little town.

There is a restaurantdirectly next door that serves 3 meals a day and stays open 'tilmidnight; super convenient for one parent to run down and get someFabulous seafood mixto & dessert, while the other gets kiddos tobed. The boardwalk touches the beachside of the hotel, and yet access isstrictly limited to hotel guests. A lovely location and we woulddefinitely stay here again.

Review 73：Nothing. This place is excellent value for money. The apartments are advertised as 3 star and are exactly that, yet spotless, and with all required facilities. They could get a little face lift but then we would be charged more :)

Review 74：Location and view are amazing. You could not be more central and closer to the beach. You can spend all day on the balcony people watching and sunbathing (you get the sun all day). Great place to relax. Apartment basic but has everything you need and is spotless. Would recommend the studio apartments as the terrace is very private and spacious! Also apartments very secure as when there is no one on reception you need a code to enter the complex. Also there is CCTV monitoring common areas. Everything is within walking distance. Parking is right outside the door, however after arriving we did not use the car again until we were leaving Luz on the last day. Would definitely recommend staying here.

We would wake up, go for walks on the beach in the morning andthen go for a swim to start the day. The town surrounding the hotel isall you need, grocery stores very close by, as well as a pharmacy forreally anything you may need. It's quite and very peaceful. Themountains right on the beach provide nice short to long hikes, and havean absolutely beautiful view overlooking the city. The room was just aswe thought, nice little kitchen with pots, pans and everything you wouldneed to cook - giant bed, awesome balcony, not much more to ask for! Tosum it up - I searched literally for 2 weeks, spending hours lookingover hotels and apartments to stay in. This was the best one I couldfind for the price, location, and quality that I wanted - I wouldrecommend this place to my closest friends and family, and to all of youas well. If you're looking for an incredible get away in Portugal,this is really the perfect place

The Luz Beach Apartments provide linen and bath towels. Beach towels can be bought at the reception.There is a weekly apartment cleaning and linen change, plus a mid-stay towel change.The one and two bedroom apartments are split-level, linked by a spiral staircase. Disabled guests are advised to book the Sea Front Studios.The reception is open 09:30 - 13:00 and 14:00 - 18:00 Monday to Friday and 10:00 - 13:00 on Saturdays. Times vary out of the high season.
