Review 2：Great hotel with an amazing view. We had nice room with a huge taras. The staff was very friendly and helpful- they let us stay in the room and wait for the night train. The shuttle bus to town/beach was a really good organised and useful.

Review 3：I spent a day with my boyfriend , we were made to feel at home , the great host of wonderful people , the food really good and the rooms really comfortable with a spectacular view . I highly recommend it.*****

Review 4：The other shuttle bus driver who's name we do not know was very inappropriate. We felt intimidated by him. He was always angry and continually late. One night when we were picked up from the city Centre, he arrived with a girl sitting next to him as though he was on a date, she was not a guest of the hotel and he also picked up a friend of his for the ride back to the hotel. There was only the 5 of us on the bus and the 3 of them sat in the front and we sat in the back. One night the guests going into town waited 10 minutes in a hot bus while he disappeared and the concierge had to go find him. He is extremely temperamental and we felt very uncomfortable with him that we did not report him to the hotel management for fear of repercussion. On the other hand Salvatore was pleasant and personable and he made the bus ride very enjoyable.

Review 6：Difficult to find hotel because Booking.com supplied incorrect information. Expected luxury based on price but dismayed to find extra cost to use sun lounger around pool, also use of room safe, only one croissant allowed at breakfast, hotel instructions say air conditioning is to be turned off at midnight. My room was in an annex building. It was accessed by going down 6 steps, across a court yard and up 16 step, not easy carrying suitcases. The room did not have mechanical ventilation, just an open window without a screen to keep out the mosquitoes.

Review 8：on our whole trip through south Italy, we never had such a bad accommodation. It was more expensive than everything else we booked, and way worse. The room was old, felt dirty, and it was moist and a bit stinky. Especially the bathroom looked as if it had been done in the 60s and was never renovated since then. The quality of food was very poor, even coffee was disgusting - we never saw that before or after on our trip. This hotel is a real tourist bunker that definitely saw better days - I would recommend to stay away, especially since they asked a ridiculous price for what u actually get. I would never go back here.

Review 10：Very poor breakfast, it is really hard to believe one is in Italy: undrinkable coffee, fruits from can (it was Calabria in summertime). The hotel organises "all inclusive" stays - that could be the reason of that case...

Review 18：The wifi died on day 2 and wasn't available for the remainder of our trip which was difficult as we really needed it to book other parts of our trip! On the last day our AC unit started leaking water heavily on the floor and onto the TV and cords below - thankfully we were checking out! The restaurant was very much like a cafeteria style with meals - only 2 choices for dinner and very basic continental breakfast. Noise was quite loud in hallways and from other rooms. Our balcony door handle was also falling off.

Review 20：A little too far from Tropea so had to drive or take the hotel's bus, car park got very full (we got blocked in by another guest's car and had to wait while the hotel manager found them and got their key).

Review 21：Stunning views from room and pool, the pool itself was lovely, staff spoke a little English which was a welcome surprise (nice not to have to speak Italian for once), the room was simple but comfortable and the balcony was a nice surprise.

Review 33：I have been recently in this hotel with my daughter and we had a very good time. The rooms were always clean as well as the other areas of the hotel. I was very impressed of how friendly, committed and efficient the staff was, my daughter fell ill and they provided all support I needed including urgent transfer to hospital during the night and interpreter. The staff excellent, beyond words. The only criticism I would make is about the food, as it was good but no much variety. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Review 50：It's only a minor thing but to use the pool you technically are suppose to wear a swimming cap....but while we were there nobody actually did. So it seems like it's a rule that they don't really enforce much. The other thing was the restaurant they advise you to go to in town....It's not worth it. Way too expensive for not enough food and the food you do get isn't very impressive.

Review 51：I loved how friendly everyone was and how they offered shuttles into town. The hotel itself is amazing with a beautiful view of the sea and the city. Oh and they do have a/c in the rooms which was very nice.

Review 52：The hotel is very far from Tropea town. Shuttle pullman only works when they want. I had to go from Tropea to hotel three times walking by the road at night without lights. Im booked a room with wifi and it wasnt possible. The shower drain was stuck. Room had not waste bin. Receptionist spoke little english and nothing spanish.
