Review 1：Only bad experience was water entering the unit due to a storm. However this was due to renovations to the whole complex so problem will be corrected in time.
Review 2：View of the beach from the unit was great. Whilst the unit is slightly dated the beds are very comfortable and the unit is very clean, very well equipped especially the kitchen. The ocean is a two minute walk and was awesome. We often sat in the provided chairs between the beach and the complex and enjoyed the view and sun and the sea breeze. The town is a short four minute walk with some nice little shops. Woolworths is close by. We visited the Bundaberg Rum distillery, and the turtles at Mon Repos. Elliott Heads was also a great place to visit for a beach swim.
Review 3：No pool, afew lights in apartment not working. Weren't allowed to hang towels to dry on verandah, too hot to put dryer on.

Review 5：From Sat until we left the reception wasn't manned at all.There where no telephones available and was told you where not connected.A note to advice this would have been nice.When I finally spoke to someone I was asked do you have a mobile.A waste paper bin would be an asset to the bathrooms, as would a small home brand washing up liquid in the kitchen.Its been a long time since I have had to shop for detergent and washing up liquid in an apartment.The text on Sat said the office was attended until 3pm I arrived at 2-15 and no- one was there.I had to bring some totally confused Asian clients to The hotel you had text them to pick up their key.Also a note with the password for the apartments would be helpful.

Review 7：No one in reception; confusion about our booking;our car park was occupied by one of the workers. It took us some time to sort out our booking and accommodation. All turned out well in the end.

Review 9：I did not like that the BBQ was not available to be used without prior planning with the house manager who was rarely if ever on site. I did not like having to find the remote office on arrival after driving for 3.5 hours.

Review 14：Far too expensive for what it is. The top floor view is almost completely blocked by trees, this should been stated. the level of maintenance is low, all steel fittings and fixtures are severely rusted. we would not book again.

Review 18：Brilliantly furnished and spacious apartment with all the facilities needed for a self catered stay. Literally 30 seconds walk from the beach it provides stunning views of the beach with an balcony dining table. 10 minutes walk to the main strip in Bargara make it a perfect spot for a short excursion.
Review 19：Unfortunately, the unit is in need of any update and general upkeep. Light bulbs didn't work, the furniture is getting old and there is no air conditioning.

Review 21：I had to change my booking and this info was not transferred from booking.com to the accomodation. The price my booking confirmation showed was less than what I was charged and this still has not been resolved yet. A box of tissue and some hand soap in the kitchen would be a great addition.

No one was available when checking in, apparently some sort of communication problem. Couldn't contact management by phone. Didn't receive any message about key in safety deposit box.

Review 59：It was nicely presented apartment with all the facility required for a family holiday. Excellent cleanliness was ad on . Only the beachfront view wasn't clear but sitting in a balcony was a great experience.
Review 60：It's closing down or being sold. Current management finishes in May 2014 and a building survey was in progress as we left (2 April 2014), so everything is a bit of a shambles - they had even double-booked our room, we got there just in time to claim our pre-booking.

W'robe door stuck-obviously not cleaned there-fluff on bottom; fluffy on top of bedside tables, sand in between lounge chairs, floor outside patio should have been cleaner-dirty-not just from the wind either, sink hole/area brown not silver; ceiling fans not wiped for ages-dirty etc.

Review 64：Management would not answer calls even when I txt them to say the power had gone off because of a faulty jug. Luckily a neighbour knew where the meter box was. We would never return to Sandcastles mainly because of management attitude.

Review 68：Arrived at 3.30 to check in needing a bathroom and very hot to find office closed and no one answering the phone. Stood in hot carpark for 15 min trying to keep ringing to no avail. Left disgusted at such poor business practice and found other accomodation along esplanade. To make matters worse they finally answered my message and proceeded to argue that they were there the whole time and finally said "Oh sorry i was having a sleep." Hope our credit card doesnt get charged and we will never stay there again.

Review 73：The steps in bathroom were a little slippery, so one had to be careful. There was no plug for the bath and not enough toilet paper. Outside when walking to front door, some of the tiles were very slippery and my daughter slipped badly and hurt the back of her shoulder and bottom. Informed management and she admitted that she knew that it was slippery when wet. If they already know this is a problem, why don't they do something about it before someone is hurt really badly!
Review 74：The view was amazing. The unit was luxurious and the grandchildren were totally amazed that we were staying there and ran around like mad things. We had our own under cover car spot as well. The kitchen well fitted out with everything we needed.
Review 75：The shower room is shabby, no soap was in the dispenser, there is a hole in the wall near the sink, and the shower rail falls out of the wall if you put anything on it except a handtowel. Only partial toilet roll provided, a spare would be nice! Also the whole unit should be airconditioned as it faces west.

Review 85：Place is a bit run down and needs building, painting and landscaping maintenance: rotting timber decks, rusty nails, posts rotting out, and ballustrades warped. Grounds need mulch. We did not get given any milk to make a cup of tea, despite tea bags / sugar being there. The only toilet being in the only bathroom is a bit minimal for a group.

The cushions on the couch were filthy, the sink was dirtyand all the sliding window tracks and sliding door tracks were filthy sothey were hard to open. I don't think the owners have ever heard ofJif or bleach. Limited hours for checking in. Wine glasses had chips onthem. Wouldn't recommend and won't be staying again.
